Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

Got my scan date, they called when I got home. It’s on the 21st July, I will be 13 weeks. Me and my partner are thinking of booking a private scan so he can be there as it’s our first child x

Opelbow · 16/06/2020 19:36

I achieved a walk this evening Smile

Feel stiff and achy now.

But it was achieved

Hopefulmummie · 16/06/2020 19:41

Hi everyone I hope you all are good. I haven't been on this much.

I finally got home this afternoon. Although my blood tests today showed that pregnancy levels have went up again :(
They were going to give me another dos of the methotrexate injection today but decided to leave it and I have to go to early pregnancy on Thursday to have bloods again and check for levels. They are going to scan me too to check ectopic hasn't got any bigger.
I'm so relieved to be home but just wish this was over me and now I don't know if I will need another injection

Onekidnoclue · 16/06/2020 20:01

Oh no @Hopefulmummie how stressful that you’re still in limbo. I’m glad you’re home and hope you’re being well looked after. X

Glad your home hun and gutted for ya at the same time. Hopefully now your home and can chill things will sort themselves out xx

WhoUsedMyName · 17/06/2020 10:38

(it's gracex4 name change)
God I'm fed up today I had stomach pains start yesterday morning and go on through the night and I'm now at the doctors nothing to do with baby I don't think because it's high up and I've been on google all night and think it maybe gallstones 😑 but I'm so uncomfortable and just fed up in general x

WhoUsedMyName · 17/06/2020 11:36

Not gallstones she can't locate it apparently wants to check me before the weekend 🧐

Seeker2020 · 17/06/2020 11:37

@Hopefulmummie- sending you so many good vibes. I'm so sorry for my ignorance - with an ectopic pregnancy, what is the course of action? You say your pregnancy levels are going up.....what does that mean for you?

Seeker2020 · 17/06/2020 11:38

Question for the class: Has anyone been experiencing muscle aches? The nausea and actual sickness are known ones to me....and ones which I'm definitely feeling, but I'm unsure of muscle aches.

Also, how is everyone sleeping?

Onekidnoclue · 17/06/2020 11:42

I’m sleeping exceptionally well WinkGrin honestly I think I could do it professionally!

Where are your muscle aches @Seeker2020? All over like flu or belly cramps?

OP posts:
Hopefulmummie · 17/06/2020 12:16

@seeker2020 if pregnancy levels are low enough that they don't think tube will rupture they give your methotrexate injection which kills off the pregnancy basically.
I got that last Tuesday and they check your bloods every few days to ensure HCG levels are going down. Mine were going down all week but then slightly rose yesterday so they wanted to give me 2nd dose of injection but decided to leave it another 2 days so I was due to go to epu to check them again tomorrow.

I'm currently on the way down to hospital again as I woke up with shoulder pain it did just feel like I had slept funny but as day goes on its sore and worse when I breathe in. They told me yesterday when they discharged me to come straight down if I experienced this as it's a sign of tube rupturing. I rang maternity and they said to come down. Hoping it's nothing

Opelbow · 17/06/2020 12:20

I've definitely had all over muscle aches.
Some period like aches.
I don't sleep as well at night as I used to, but sleep well during the day.
I have to get up for a wee every night.

Seeker2020 · 17/06/2020 12:25

You are a brave bean @Hopefulmummie. Thank you for sharing - I just wanted to understand more of what you are going through. All my prayers are with you.

@Onekidnoclue - it's dull aching in my arms and legs. Almost like I've done loads of exercise but really have just swung my legs out of bed.

@Opelbow - I think that's what I'm experiencing. Very dull feeling of just weakness in my arms and legs.

Onekidnoclue · 17/06/2020 12:32

@WhoUsedMyName great disguise, I never would have recognised you Wink
Pain sounds utterly shit. Any clue other than not gallstone?

WhoUsedMyName · 17/06/2020 12:44

@Onekidnoclue there's a story behind it! 🤣 no it's just crap I thought maybe trapped wind but when it just wouldn't ease got me over thinking just going to have to ride it out, I've turned into a right moaner

PollyOaks · 17/06/2020 13:24

Hi all,
I'm due 16th January after having an early scan at 7 weeks to confirm (had a mmc at 11 weeks last year)..
Last night when I wiped I had a big blob of clear jelly like discharge. Wondering if anyone else has had that or if I am right to be worried? Can't get my mind off it but it hasn't happened today yet.

Hi @Pollyoaks - I think clear discharge is fine. If it changes colour then consult your MW or GP but essentially is the body keeping itself clean for baby (what I've read recently). It will continue to appear as the body cleanses itself to keep infections away.

Onekidnoclue · 17/06/2020 13:56

I think that’s normal @PollyOaks apparently the cervix has loads more blood and therefore more discharge gets produced. Just another joy of pregnancy Grin

@WhoUsedMyName moan away! That’s what we’re here for.

Feeling utterly exhausted today although I have had a kip on the couch.
I am not sleeping great in the night, tossing and turning and then usually awake anytime between 3.30 and 4am. Xx

Seeker2020 · 17/06/2020 17:35

Same for me @angelascott. I seem to get up between 3 and 4. I try to lie in until as long as I possibly can otherwise the day is just enormously long and makes me even more exhausted. Currently I'm in bed by 6 because of the evening sickness. So spending almost half a full 24 hours in bed. Where is the pregnancy glamour?!

angelascott · 17/06/2020 19:10

@Seeker2020 same, I have two Foster boys as well that keep me and my other half on our toes and I feel rubbish as I'm struggling to keep my eyes open or have time without Gipping to play with them... I have agreed to do some litter picking tomorrow on our street with them (they are so excited 😂)
Midwife in morning for bloods and booking in appointment on the phone on Monday too x

Hope everyone is doing OK xx

Dspx · 17/06/2020 21:05

Anxiety through the roof tonight for my
Scan tomorrow any relaxation tips ? X

BabyDust13 · 17/06/2020 21:15

@Dspx is it your first scan? How far along are you? Sorry all the questions I have one on Saturday when I'll be 9+1 I think I'm super excited but it's also scary. Good luck I'm sure everything will be fine
