Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

@gracex4 oh no poor you! My MW app is on the 15th! Just want it to be here now so I can get the scan booked in. My OH has been taking care of me most of the last couple of weeks. I’ve found baths really help with the nausea and aches. Also tea, that soothes my stomach! X

gracex4 · 08/06/2020 16:19

I haven't tried tea as I never drink it but have gone completely off coffee. My app is the 11th so Thursday I'm 9weeks today xx

nmw93 · 08/06/2020 16:39

@gracex4 yeah I can’t drink coffee either. I’m 9 weeks on Saturday! The tea I seem to be enjoying though! X

Has anyone ever experienced sort of sharp pains it feels like it's on my bladder? It's almost as if my bladders really full and its quite painful to pee. I'm surprised an infection didn't show up in my urine as that's what it feels like

nmw93 · 08/06/2020 17:54

@hopefulmummie I get them every now and then. It shouldn’t be excruciatingly painful. I was told it’s uterus contractions from the womb getting bigger and stretching. I haven’t experienced pain peeing though? Does it hurt your actual urethra or your bladder to pee?

Hopefulmummie · 08/06/2020 18:01

@nmw93 is it normally to have this type of pain of womb stretching this early?
It's not overly sore just uncomfortable and constantly feel like I need to pee
Uncomfortable around bladder area to pee

angelascott · 08/06/2020 18:02

I haven't had sharp pains but often feel like I have period aches (dull ache in bottom of tummy) and I'm checking for blood every time I wee.

Hope you are all doing well, so nice to have others to chat with about our babies and the sickness etc...

We had a private early scan yesterday and heard babies heart beat 😍 7+4 today

nmw93 · 08/06/2020 18:04

@hopefulmummie How far along are you? Mine started around 7 weeks and has been quite active this week and I’m almost 9 weeks. Frequent need to pee is really common. I must pee a few times an hour. Try not to hold it, if you’re holding it you might be making yourself sore. Sometimes you’ll go and a literal drop will come out but hey, the joys of being pregnant! If your urine test came back clear, I wouldn’t be too worried about UTI.

Onekidnoclue · 08/06/2020 18:27

@angelascott that’s lovely! I’m so desperate to see a heartbeat.

I pee ALL THE TIME TOO. I keep subconsciously avoiding drinking as I’m so bored of needing a pee but it’s the worst thing to do. I’ve been getting belly ache too. Tbh I think it’s constipation Blush stretching pain makes sense as my gut has ballooned. I’m approaching the physique of a darts player with a huge stomach. Soooo sexy Grin

@nmw93 I'm 6+2. I know just need to get used to all the running to the toilet now lol

Opelbow · 08/06/2020 18:36

I've had to go onto amazon today to by stretch lounge leggings and bigger bras. I can't strand wearing anything tight atm. I'm working from home so no need to try get into smart clothes atm. So long as I have a nice top on who cares Wink.

I've got a really thing for cold grapes currently. I'm going to buy more.

Dia12 · 08/06/2020 19:06

Aw must have been lovely to see the little heartbeat flickering away @angelascott

When will you be going for a scan @onekidnoclue? Any plans for an early one?

I must be the only one that isn't peeing much at all, and the nausea has eased off too 😑 wonder if anything's going on in there!

gracex4 · 08/06/2020 19:09

I freeze grapes 😍 I'm fed up of feeling crap it's draining. Some times I get a random sharp pain up my bits but that's normal too 😖 constipation is quite bad Blushdoctor told me to get lactulose which is so sweet makes me feel sick and heartburn tablets I'm eating by the packet the liquid is so thick it's a job to swallow ooooo the joys x

Onekidnoclue · 08/06/2020 19:53

Not planning an early scan but might change my mind yet. I think I’m only 7+3 so will have to be very patient, not something I’m great at.
Seeing the midwife next week so will hope that excitement will keep me going for a bit Grin
I’m planning to have a harmony test though which is at about ten weeks and might get a scan with that. Assuming I can find somewhere to do it!

Onekidnoclue · 08/06/2020 19:56

@gracex4 can heartburn meds make you constipated? I think they do for babies.

@Dia12 it’s nuts isn’t it?!! Nausea gone should be good but the stress of no nausea is worse.

This must be the worst trimester!! Sad

angelascott · 08/06/2020 19:58

@Dia12 it was really nice to see and hear we both cried and it was lovely. We did it due to previous mc through Ivf and natural been ttc for 10+years so this is such a miracle for us.

Tink2020 · 08/06/2020 20:03

My nausea was horrendous yesterday (not actually sick) and today I managed to eat my dinner fine... think the lack of symptoms (or at least consistent ones) are really freaking me out

Dia12 · 08/06/2020 21:08

I feel you @angelascott - it really does feel like a miracle for us too. We've had a tough journey too with failed ivfs and it's been 4 years. Can only imagine how difficult 10 would have been but how amazing it's happened naturally.

nmw93 · 08/06/2020 21:17

I often wonder if I could possibly sleep much more than I do. I slept for 8 hours during the day yesterday and then slept all night last night. I've never known someone sleep so much!

Anyone else relentlessly exhausted?

Onekidnoclue · 08/06/2020 21:19

@nmw93 I had a 3 hour not very powerful power nap today. I’m convinced I could sleep right up until I go into labour! Confused

OP posts:
nmw93 · 08/06/2020 21:21

@onekidnoclue I honestly think I could sleep through everything if it weren't for the need to puke and pee!

gracex4 · 08/06/2020 21:21

I'm always shattered like if I didn't have dc I wouldn't get up at all 😴

angelascott · 08/06/2020 21:38

Yep always asleep or feeling nauseous at the moment, I never sleep through the day and I struggle to sleep at night when not pregnant but at the moment I'm shattered

Onekidnoclue · 09/06/2020 08:59

Good luck with your scan today @Hopefulmummie
