Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

@Hopefulmummie I didn't have sharp pains but the doctor did ask me if I had any so I think it can be a symptom

It was a bit stingy when I went to the loo and I felt like I needed to go all the time I also had low abdominal pain and lower back ache

@Hopefulmummie no not much it started off quite red and then was brown for a couple of days . Can't wait for the 12 week scan to double check everything is going as it should.

@BabyDust13 the sharp pain seems to have gone a bit now but still feel the need to pee alot but nothing coming out

@Xiomara22 it will be. Stay positive and hope everything turns out ok.

@dragon82 yeah they let my husband stay with me i didn't think he would be as there's signs saying you have to attend on your own

@gracex4 we use reusables and it's not gross and it's no bother. I used a disposable today as had to take hubby to hospital and my two year old got nappy rash straight away. Never get that with my reusables. I also would recommend reusable wipes.
I won't bombard you with info but I'm happy to answer any questions.

@Hopefulmummie I'm sorry to read your update. It's very scary when you bleed but it's more common that you think and still with positive outcomes. X

Just been seen my a Dr who had a feel of my stomach.. they still hadn't checked my urine. But he said they will send me over to maternity tonight for a scan eek. But at least I will finally get answers

My urine test was positive which is a good sign. Getting sent over to maternity now for an internal scan.. thank you all for your thoughts it is really appreciated

So after a 3 hour wait in a and e and 1 hour waiting in maternity they're not scanning me tonight Angry
Dr said he would just refer me to epu and they will call me tomorrow with an appointment.
So annoyed not sure why they couldn't have scanned me tonight

@gracex4 I haven't told my manager that I'm pregnant. I work in an office so will be sat down all day anyway. I'll see how today goes and I might need to tell her

@Hopefulmummie I’m just like you, I would be trying to go to work. But if urine test was positive you have a UTI. So your bodies fighting an infection and you need rest. Have a sick day, everyone’s allowed to get sick once in awhile. I’m like you though I drag myself to work when I’m sick. But now we are pregnant I think we have to try to take things easy. Easier said than done. Hope you get scan today

@dragon82 there was no infection showed up in my urine so don't even think there was. We're currently on a weekly rota and unfortunately this is my week in. I'm a senior manager and unfortunately there would be no one to cover me today if I didn't go in

@gracex4 Just wanted to give you a little update! Whilst I’m still feeling shocking this week with sickness and exhaustion, the anxiety is easing a little as I approach Week 9. I’m more excited to see my 12 week scan now and I’m getting a little bigger around the tum which is making it all feel more real. I did have an early scan at 7weeks so I know baby is okay and has a strong heartbeat. I’ve been having really vivid dreams about a little boy calling me mummy. It’s so lovely xx

Today has been nearly completely nauseous and tried. I'm starting to get tired of being tried. No amount of rest seams to leave me with energy.

@nmw93 aww so lovely. So today I got up sorted dc ate a bacon sandwich then went back to bed virtually all day felt awful perked up abit now I guess I don't get the choice. I have a uti and I'm on antibiotics so probs that. Just want my midwife appointment so she can book my scan 😁xx
