Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

@hopefulmummie thank you so much for replying. I've not told anyone except my partner so it's hard when you can't talk about it.

I did look at early scans but I was unsure if it's a common thing to do? This is my first and I'm 35. I'm so excited but trying to tame it because I'm preparing for heartache (which I realise may sound strange).

@NicJayne1 I think how your feeling is totally normal, every time I go for a wee I’m paranoid 🙈 Im due on 29th Jan & not got a scan booked yet just a phone call app with a midwife in 2 weeks? Just want my scan! I’ve heard a few people say your partner can’t go along to the first scan in an NHS hospital due to Corona which will be devastating really Xx

Has anyone had sharp painful cramps? These only just started and I've never felt ones like these

@gracex4 it's been constant for an hour now unbearble pain. I rang out of hours and the Dr advised me to go to a and e to be checked out if pain got worse so I'm on my way now

@Gabbs1992 I'm the same with every time I go to the toilet...I'm driving myself in sane ha. Im seeing the midwife a week on Thursday but yeah partners can't come. Im assuming she will book me a scan but it will be a while off Im assuming x

@Hopefulmummie I had really bad pains a week ago, they were unbearable. I used my heated pad and the pain eased (don't think being constipated helped). Hopefully it's the same for you and it eases :)

@nicjayne1 I’ve booked an early scan on Tuesday. It’s my first and I am very anxious. So hoping it’ll ease my nerves. Not been able to tell anyone neither. Just my husband and one friend. Waiting for the scan to tell the family!

Went to the toilet a while ago and the blood is red for the first time :( it's been brown throughout. Really have a bad feeling

Due 11th jan, first baby. Had an early scan at the end of may due to bleeding but everything was all good. Had to go in on my own but my partner was in the car, was absolutely dreading it after reading so much negative stuff on here and online about the bleeding. Hoping he’ll be able to come in by the 20 week scan!

Lots of the usual symptoms struggling to eat anything nutritious, have gone off all my fave foods. Just going in the kitchen makes me feel sick. Hopefully the all day long sickness subsides by the time I get off furlough.

@Hopefulmummie Oh I'm sorry to hear this, but I've read lots of things were people have started bleeding but everything was fine, so hopefully this will be you too. I have everything crossed for you x

@Hopefulmummie no they just tested my pee. Apparently they are quite common in early pregnancy but need to be treated ASAP

@NicJayne1 I’ll be 9 weeks but apparently you can do them from week 6. Must depend on the place you get it done.
