@TrashKitten10 congratulations, she's adoreable!
Glad to hear you're feeling happier now, but don't ever think you're a failure-you've grown and bought a new life into this world, you're superwoman!
@purplefig thanks for sharing this link, I have done the digital pack, but hadn't seen the blog. How's your cat?
What a bargain on that cardigan too!
@MrsR16 how are you feeling today?
@PippaPug how lovely to hear your babies are so active! Sorry your feeling anxious about next week, I know what you mean though, I always feel so much better when DP is here these days-I think the hormones must make it worse. Enjoy your massage though, that's a nice treat to look forward to!
@cupcakesandglitter I'm so pleased your scan went well and that it's provided some reassurance.
@RanchoRelaxo what a lovely update, glad you're doing well.
@Fivebyfive2 how was NCT? We're the fireworks good this year? Hopefully the grounds dried out ok after the flooding last week and the rain yesterday!
@thumper59 sorry to hear your cold has made you feel so ill. Isn't it exciting to say we will have our babies this month! I can't wait now!
@Anny27 I'm so sorry to hear your news 💐
@MrsEG your poor dog-was he any better last night? I wish members of the general public couldn't just buy fireworks to use at home- we had some neighbours a few years ago who clearly didn't know how to use them safely, I was terrified for their children's safety!
Re heartburn, I've had really bad reflux since 24 weeks-made my ears burn and ache! After trying gaviscon for a few weeks my consultant put me on ranitidine at my 28 week appointment- at first it was like a miracle cure! However, the last few weeks it hasn't been very effective, so at the last appointment (36 weeks) we've switched to omeprazole-been on it about 5 days now and it seems to be helping-certainly no ear burning pain so far!
@LokiCat those cupcakes look amazing!
@CobaltRose96 she is so cute! How can she be 7.5months already though?!
I've had a quiet couple of days at home, feeling pretty uncomfortable now and the grey, rainy weather made me want to hibernate!
Had the GTT test on Thursday-ended up with what felt like an MOT as my heart rate went weird (thanks to my heart condition-don't worry if you're due a GTT, it's not what happens to everyone!). Ended up in a bed on the ante-natal ward with a Dr seeing me, getting all the check ups, then on the CTG machine (baby was fine, in fact he was partying away!), and ecg machine - honestly, all I needed was for the test to be over and a cheese sandwich and I was ok again, I was so embarrassed! I can't fault the staff at the hospital though, they were so thorough- @Fivebyfive2 @cupcakesandglitter if you've not experienced the antenatal ward yet, they are really good, so don't worry about having to contact them! Also-any we did the labour ward tour a few weeks ago, so feel free to fire away any questions!
