@MrsEG Ooo thank you for the app suggestion, I'll download it and see what's on around here. Glad to hear the 'spot on' helped last night. @Tropicana1 mentioning anxiety made me also think of Rescue Remedy? I know there is one of them that you can give to pets. Could be worth looking into? Your day sounds like so much fun - I really want to try aquanatal but there's nothing on at my local pool. I bet the water feels amazing!
@stormtrooperjulian oh my goodness just look at him! What a cutie! How're you doing lovely? Great to hear your c-section recovery is going well - how long until you're likely to be cleared for exercise? If you need any new workout clothes I really can't recommend the workout leggings from cadenshae enough. They have a belly band that can be pulled up over tum or down around hips and the actual waistline of the legging material bit (if that makes sense?!) is cut super low to avoid aggravating c-section scars. I don't work there
- just got to try some out the other day and was really impressed.
@MrsH497 you're famous!
@MrsR16 glad you were able to rest last night - it's lovely when the baby has a crazy moment isn't it? Well, I find it is at 25 weeks...maybe not so much at 35 weeks!
@Fivebyfive2 what a faff! So glad you got both jabs in the end, even if you did have to travel across town! Sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish with it all today though, hopefully a walk will help. Ooo exciting you get to start NCT this weekend...my DH is oddly enthusiastic about it too
@cupcakesandglitter all the best with your scan today. Let us know how you get on. I'd say don't give up on yoga because of one class - they all vary so much as there's so many different styles and the teachers differ so much. Also prenatal yoga is (in my experience) waaaaay more chilled than normal yoga. At my NCT one I would say it was more like basic stretching than traditional 'yoga' - really helped with my aches and pains.
@BostonFern great news your scan went well and the baby is doing good. I can't remember if you've done the positive birth company digital pack, but there's some great info in there about positive inductions. Also some great positive induction birth stories here: thepositivebirthcompany.co.uk/blog/category/induction . Ooo glad your oven is gleaming - we got ours done when we moved in as the people who lived here before had never cleaned it by the looks of things, I was AMAZED at what an incredible job he did.
@BabySquid glad you're having a great time down under! It's a lovely time of the year in Perth atm where it's not just yet blazing summer (I'm a wimp with the sun) - enjoy lapping up all that vitamin d.
@ELW85 oh man, what a day for you. Big hugs, it takes it's toll physically and mentally this growing a baby lark. I hope today is a better day for you lovely.
I'm feeling much brighter today. My back has been really wearing me down, but last night I threw my pregnancy pillow out of bed in a rage and went back to my old set-up of classic pillow between the knees and I've woke up miraculously back pain free?!?! Fingers crossed it stays that way.
Happy Halloweeeeeeen! In between work today I've got some roofers coming over to inspect the leak in the kitchen, then I'm heading out with my mum for a coffee and a catch-up and this evening DH and I are going to a little Halloween themed poetry night in town which I'm really looking forward to. But the chairs are those notoriously uncomfortable fold out wooden ones...so I'm slightly dreading that aspect
