@MrsEG Oh I am sorry, that sounds horrible. Have you managed to catch-up on any sleep tonight? Hip pain is so horrible, hope it's lessened over the course of the day. Just spotted your nursery update too - gorgeous cots!

@BabySquid how exciting! I think I remember you saying you're off to explore western Australia with the view to moving there? I lived about an hour south of Perth for several years and there's certainly a lot going for it. All the best on your travels Grin

@Lemonysherbet oh dear, people can be so tactless. Why on earth would she say anything at all?! Not long until your private scan at least. I had mine at 8+4 and there wasn't loads to see, just a blob with a heartbeat...still made me well up though! Grin

@ELW85 oh gosh, it sounds like it's all kicking off in your neck of the woods! I hope it all gets sorted soon and you can get some peace back. Lebanese food sounds good though! The babymoon was really lovely, definitely recommend one if you can.

@thumper59 corr you've done well lasting until 37 weeks! I hope you enjoy your maternity leave and get some time to chill before the little man arrives.

@Anny27 I remember feeling a bit dizzy (and seeing stars) during the 1st trimester. Biggest thing that helped was not getting up too fast and making sure I was eating and drinking enough.

@Fivebyfive2 absolutely fab news about your employers topping up the pot! 12 months off would be incredible. When are you due?

What's everyone up to this evening? I've got a sore back again (could be my pregnancy memoir title), so a long soak in the bath is definitely on the cards. Then we've got some stew and dumplings and I think I'll spend the evening on the sofa reading ready for book club this week. I keep thinking how if we're lucky enough to have another one, the next pregnancy will be so much tougher as they'll be someone else to think about....so I'm making the most of being as selfish as possible Grin. Happy evening all! x

MrsEG · 15/10/2019 16:42

@BabySquid Yeah it’s no fun! I’ve booked with the osteopath again to see if they can help. Oh man, it’s only really the last week I’ve noticed how much I need to pee - it’s nuts! Maybe filling up on food like you is the way to go haha!
I always think Xmas shopping is better done in the week - we have huge Xmas markets here in Manchester but unless you can get there on a weekday it’s just chaos at weekends!

@Lemonysherbet How tactless! I honestly just don’t get people at times, I really don’t! Enjoy the scan. I had lots of early ones at hospital - the difference between 7 and 10 weeks was unbelievable- they grow so much in those early weeks!

@ELW85 Ooh Lebanese fabulous! I have a Saag on the go at the moment, leaving it to stew on low and the house smells unreal! I know - I’ve had so much pizza the last few months, I’m devastated!

@purplefig Had a great nap today yes, DH came home at lunchtime so I snuggled up to him on the sofa and slept for nearly 3 hours. He actually woke me up so I don’t end up wired before bed tonight! Feeling much better and have booked in with the osteopath again for a check up. Last time the diagnosis was very much ‘one of those things’ but I can’t have another 16 weeks ‘sleeping’ like this!!
Also, do it - be selfish and enjoy it! My sister is thinking about number 2, and she had a sickness bug last week and said literally having one day feeling ill/rubbish whilst also having to look after a 17 month old was such hard work. Gave her a taste of what pregnancy number 2 would be like!

Are we all watching GBBO tonight? Getting towards crunch time!

Hi all! Sorry I've been a bit quiet. It's been crazy busy at work and I just crash when I get home!
Nausea is still unbelievable and can't keep much food down annoyingly. Thought it would be calming down by now! Scan day tomorrow though, so excited! 😊😊

@PippaPug oh no, how annoying about your furniture, especially that it was just one piece and you have to wait till November now! Good thing you checked. Have you got a lot of bits ordered now?

@Larrydavid so happy to see you here! Welcome and congratulations 😁 how have you been feeling?

@BabySquid aww how lovely you're feeling the little one move a lot more. Hope you had a lovely anniversary yesterday and that the next few days fly by till your holiday!

@MrsR16 glad you had a nice week off! Exciting that you've made a start on the nursery. Is there a lot to do still?

@MrsEG ooh exciting! Did you get your cots today? Sorry to hear about the ongoing hip pain and lack of sleep. Glad you were able to get a nap in!

@Fivebyfive2 that's great news about the SMP top up!

@Anny27 I definitely had the light headed feeling, especially if I was rushing around too much and wasn't keeping hydrated enough.

@thumper59 ahh enjoy your last week at work!! Hope you get some time to relax before the little one is here!

@purplefig your baby moon sounds great! Definitely a relaxing time away that everyone needs. You must feel so refreshed!

@Lemonysherbet thanks for checking lovely, I'm good thank you, just exhausted and wanting the nausea to calm down.
Some people are unbelievable, don't understand why they need to say anything at all.
Exciting about tour scan this Saturday! We had one at 9 weeks and I got so emotional at a little blob with arm and leg buds. It was great 😁

@ELW85 sorry to hear about all the drama! Hope everything gets sorted out okay.
How amazing that you got to hear the heartbeat at your MW appointment, that must have been so special!
Enjoy Lebanese tonight 😊

DH is home a bit later tonight, so think we'll have a late dinner together. Going to be a couch potato in front of the tv for a bit Grin
Have a lovely evening all x

cupcakesandglitter · 15/10/2019 19:45

Ahh @LokiCat how exciting!! Is it your 12w scan tomorrow? I'm 15weeks and the sickness has calmed down a little but definitely still there unfortunately! Hope you start feeling better soon xx

Ooh @purplefig enjoy your bath!! Sounds like a lovely relaxed evening 😊 xx

@ELW85 sorry the drama hasn't eased up with them - glad no one was hurt from the fire though. Hope you've enjoyed Lebanese, it's fantastic 🤤 x

Sorry about work @MrsH49 :( I hope either the situation gets better or you find a role quickly x

7ah @Lemonysherbe pay no notice to it, I'm glad people have realistic views but in my eyes whenever I've found out I'm pregnant I've just wanted to enjoy it regardless of the outcome. Hope your scan is amazing tomorrow 🥰 xx

Awww @BabySqu it's a shame you needed to wee so much but I bet it's an amazing feeling feeling little one moving about so much xx

Oh no @Mrs that's pants but well done for getting this far without needing to take any!! I hope you find something to help you with it, hip pain is horrible xx

@purplef glad the baby moon was lovely xxx

@thumper I'm sorry but how are you 37 weeks already?! Glad you managed to do some shopping though 😉 xx

Sorry if I've missed anyone! My migraines haven't eased off at all but I finally start work again tomorrow after six weeks off 😭

I had my gender scan today.... I've never cried so much honestly, I'm having a little girl!! My heart is so full already, I broke down completely in the car - I've wanted this so much and it's not been an easy journey getting here but she's so so worth it, I'm completely in love!! Scan pic attached xx

Aaaaargh @cupcakesandglitter look at that little picture. And congratulations on the little girl 💖

Fivebyfive2 · 15/10/2019 20:30

@cupcakesandglitter, that's amazing!! So happy for you 🙂 Do you have any names in mind? Xx

Watching bake off while eating ice cream, little Homer is kicking away! I can't believe I'm in the third trimester (well, as of Thursday) it's soooo weird!!

thumper59 · 15/10/2019 20:45

@MrsEG sorry your not sleeping well. It's one thing I've struggled with between acid and insomnia! I keep a bottle of gaviscon on the bedside table, one in my bag and one in the car 😂 hope you feel better tomorrow. I don't have any plans as such but I would like to blitz each room of the house one at a time and sort wardrobes/cupboards. I'm going to try and take it easy though, I must admit things are getting harder now. I walked the dogs after work and my legs and back are in pieces now!

@ELW85 hope you can catch up on your sleep tonight! I'm feeling quite good Thankyou!! The heaviness of him is starting to be very noticeable. I definitely have that pregnancy waddle going on now 😂 but aches and pains aside I'm feeling pretty good, it's just a waiting game for him now!

@purplefig I think it's really important to take time out when your pregnant! I've tried really hard to keep living as normally as possible, but now I think bugger this I'll hopefully have some sofa days when I'm on maternity, and your right if we have more children we will never get the opportunity to take this much time out again haha! Aw Thankyou knowing my luck he'll be here on Monday, my first proper day of leave 😂. He's definitely a lot lower now than he was even just last week!

@LokiCat Thankyou I hope so too! 😂 so exciting that your scans tomorrow, sorry your still feeling sick!

@cupcakesandglitter thats amazing congratulations I'm so happy for you!! A little girl wow💞🥰 soooo exciting!! For what it's worth I think girls clothes are so much cuter then boys!!

LokiCat · 15/10/2019 21:56

@cupcakesandglitter oh what a beautiful scan!! Congratulations on a little girl, so happy for you 😍
Yup dating scan tomorrow, I'll be 12+5! Can't believe I'm almost in the second trimester!

Tropicana1 · 15/10/2019 22:26

Thanks @MrsEG @BabySquid @Fivebyfive2 @purplefig for the coat recommends! Maybe I'll just buy myskef an oversized cheapie!

@Fivebyfive2 that's amazing that your work are topping up your pay! I'm super jealous, I just get shitty stat pay 😭

@cupcakesandglitter congratulations on your little girl 😍

Midwife said my breathless spells sound like anaemia so she's going to get my doctors to give me a call tomorrow with my blood results that she took today

Having a bit of a dilemma - have a friend staying with us as she's relocated near us, which I thought was just while she settles and finds somewhere but she said to a mutual friend over dinner yesterday that she's "in no rush" to find somewhere. Whaaat?! Not that I don't love her but I can't understand why she doesn't think she needs to prioritise finding her own place ASAP?!

MrsEG · 16/10/2019 06:53

Morning ladies! Slept a little better last night but not much. I think I may invest in a better pregnancy pillow - this one clearly isn’t doing it’s job! The pain in my hip now kinda travels around my back up to my bra line. It’s just impossible to sleep through! Ugh, it’s gonna be a long old day.

@LokiCat happy scan day!! Cots didn’t arrive yesterday but we’re dispatched so hopefully today!

@cupcakesandglitter Congratulations on your girl!! I completely understand about breaking down - my sex scan was the one I fully sobbed my heart out at, I actually surprised myself!! It was like they suddenly became ‘real’ and I could visualise them for the first time, these two little gents!

@thumper59 Sounds like it’s definitely time for you to start slowing down! Have a few sofa and Netflix days - it’ll be the last time for a while you can do that without constantly checking a baby monitor haha!

@Tropicana1 Oh my god, I really feel for you. Long story short when I first moved in with DH before (in to the flag he owned) his friend was his tennant: so he told him ‘She’s moving in, take a few weeks I won’t boot you out, but you now need to move out’. We were living in the middle of the city with bazillions of flats around. He didn’t move out for 7 months 🙈 I was a wreck by the end of it (he hated me - I was this devil woman who was turfing him out apparently!) and he would always say similar ‘Oh well there’s no rush is there, I’ll wait until I find something I really like’. - My advice would be say something. We were too polite about it and as such it dragged on far far too long. Explain there’s a baby on the way and she’ll have to be gone by then! We ended up giving him a deadline and in the end, that’s what spurred him in to action. So maybe choose a realistic date and stick with it!

@cupcakesandglitter congrats on the girl babe!! Xxx

purplefig · 16/10/2019 10:42

@MrsEG sorry to hear you had another rubbish night - I totally get that bra line back pain, it's so bloody irritating. Hope the osteo is a bit more helpful, as you say - 16 weeks is a long time to be uncomfortable and go without proper decent sleep. Re: your sister, I'm currently fascinated by age gaps people have between kids - waiting unil the first is 18 months seems quite common among people I know. I can also see the appeal of leaving it later though and having a more grown-up / emotionally mature firstborn. But then our own age is a factor of course! I should of course calm the f down and just get on with this pregnancy, rather than thinking about the next already Grin.

@LokiCat sorry to hear work is so manic at the mo - are you on your feet a lot with it? All I wanted to do was lie on the sofa in the first trimester!! The babymoon was great thanks, I do feel relaxed although annoyingly I didn't sleep great so feel like I need to catch-up on sleep a bit! All the best with your dating scan today, let us know how you get on.

@cupcakesandglitter congratulations on your wonderful girl - what amazing news!! A friend of mine is pregnant and suffers terribly from migraines - her midwife told her to take a daily dose of aspirin and it's worked wonders for her. Could be worth asking your MW about?

@Fivebyfive2 omg no way you're in the third trimester already!!! Time is whizzing by...how exciting though.

@thumper59 I couldn't agree with you more - let's take the rest while it's still an option Grin. Love the idea of a blast of each room - I'm still waiting for my nesting instincts to kick in...!

@Tropicana1 not to harp on about eBay, but I got an ASOS maternity parka (so snuggly!) for under £10. I really didn't want to spend much as not sure how much it'll get used, but now it's here I am definitely thinking it'll be great for baby wearing in the winter. Also I'm sorry to hear about your friend and this might sound brutal, but I think you need to be up front with her to nip this in the bud now. Pregnancy can be hard enough as it is without a house guest overstaying their welcome.

@Delilah7 how are you and Ethan getting on lovely?

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope everyone's having a good one? I had my brows waxed this morning as we've got a wedding this weekend and they were looking a little unhinged. Back to work now, but thought I'd have a quick cup of tea and catch-up on here. I'm now over 23 weeks and feeling proper movement everyday, and last night I actually saw him/her kick while I was in the bath. It was so surreal and totally lovely. Right, better do some work! x

LokiCat · 16/10/2019 12:10

Hi all! Just got back in from my scan. Moved forward slightly, I'm measuring 13+1 today, DD 21st April 2020! Can't believe I'm in the second trimester already!
The scan went really well. The baby was wriggling away every time the sonographer tried to look around at the anatomy and then was chilling on its back with its legs in the air towards the end! I was amazed at how much could be seen! She showed us the heartbeat, brain and blood flowing through! I've attached a photo 😊
Should hopefully receive test results in 10 days.

@Tropicana1 oh wow that's difficult. It's strange, but some people don't seem to realise that they can sometimes overstay their welcome! I definitely think you should say something, especially with the baby on the way.

@MrsEG thank you! Hope cots arrive today.
Sorry to hear you had another rubbish sleep. I hope another pregnancy pillow helps. I seem to be getting the worst back pain when I stand up after I've been sitting down for too long. I really hope it doesn't turn into anything worse.

@purplefig luckily I've got an office job, so not on my feet that much. We are constantly on the computer though, so I think that's tiring me out a lot as well.
Hope you manage to catch up on sleep now that you're back! It must have so surreal seeing the baby kicking, how amazing!!

Larrydavid · 16/10/2019 12:33

Hey guys, so good to read about all of your pregnancies - and amusing how time is whizzing by for you all when it feels like time has stood still for me for the last week! I'm trying to carry on and keep busy but the tiredness is killer!

@LokiCat amazing scan picture! And how exciting you're now in the second trimester!

@purplefig how lovely to see the kicking! And I hear you on the eyebrow thing - I seem to only look at mine in the dark - the cold light of day tells a different story!

@MrsEG is there any kind of massage that can help with your hip? It sound miserable.

@Tropicana1 it's so tough but I'd gently give a date she needs to be out by and stick to it. I have a friend with us at the moment and we're going to need to change her room into a nursery at some point. It's so hard but your friend should understand!

@cupcakesandglitter A girl 😍😍😍

@Lemonysherbet it's really not sunk in. It's weird to not be thinking about my cycle and SMEP etc but still doesn't feel real. Maybe it will when we've had a scan? I'm getting nausea and the tiredness is still strong, so I'm definitely feeling strong symptoms but it's all so early still. I'm trying to get through one day at a time! Are you excited about your scan?

@PippaPug I've never been more tired in my life. Trying to keep energy up by keeping up exercise and napping but still falling asleep each night by 9:30. Glad you're through the other side! How's it going?

purplefig · 16/10/2019 12:42

@LokiCat glad it all went well - it's amazing how baby like they look at the 12 week scan isn't it? Lovely scan pic! I jumped forward a bit at mine too, I felt like I'd cheated Grin. Welcome to the second trimester - in my experience, it's a hell of a lot better than the first! Oh and I hear you, I work at a computer all day and my back is really starting to play up. Really should inspire me to use my standing desk more...alas...

@Larrydavid FWIW, and I know plenty of ladies on here felt the same, the first trimester drags and then once the 12 week scan is done everything seems to speed up. I remember waiting for my scan at 8+4 and it seemed to take forever and a day to arrive. Also with regards to it not feeling real, I totally had that too and I would say seeing the heartbeat on the scan made all the difference.

Tropicana1 · 16/10/2019 13:47

@purplefig @MrsEG @LokiCat @Larrydavid I know you're right and I need to say something, my main concern is that she's quite a firey / reactive person and if I word it wrong I just know she'll take massive offence and it will become a huge issue for her. Feel like I've shot myself in the foot by doing a good deed! In my head I just keep thinking, it's only 12 weeks till the baby comes, maybe less and I want to start doing the nursery etc but can't! Also, selfishly, that this is mine and DHs last time just the two of us, she's already been with us the better part of a month and hasn't been to view a single house/flat yet!

MrsR16 · 16/10/2019 13:48

@thumper59 hope the Moses basket turns up today for you!

@MrsEG plasterer is still being evasive! DH and I have a packed schedule this week (aside from Friday, but it's his birthday, so I wanted it to be a nice half day off for us!) I'm sorry to hear you had a day off sick! However, that's what they're for 😊 hope you're doing ok now. I had a horrendously busy night last night and completely forgot about GBBO! 😂 I'll have to catch up tonight once I've collected my rocker from my sister 😄

@LokiCat the room at the moment is completely stripped out! No carpet, no nothing, so a fair amount to do once the plasterer's come back to sort out the issues. DH won't let me help much once we are able to get going with the decorating, so we'll see if it's ready on time! If not, I'll be able to do some sneaky painting when I go on mat leave hehe! That is a fab scan picture! It's nice to be moved on a few days isn't it?

@cupcakesandglitter oh goodness, what an amazing picture! Congratulations on your little girl!!

@Tropicana1 wow, I'd have thought your friend would want to be out in her own place asap! Especially with little one on the way! What are you going to do?

@Delilah7 it's awesome to hear from you!

@purplefig isn't it amazing when you can watch them? I get distracted at work watching it move round and kick 😊

@Larrydavid I definitely felt like the first 12 weeks dragged, but then I blinked and somehow I'm 31 weeks already! 😂 it will speed up and you'll be begging for it to slow down...

ELW85 · 16/10/2019 14:06

Afternoon all!

Happy Wednesday 😀

@BabySquid - Lebanese is awesome; basically a load of grilled meats, flatbreads and hummus. I’m in Newcastle and it’s pretty saturated with them, haha!

@MrsEG - OMG how was your saag? I’ve never actually made one (how bad is that) but 100% purchased saag paneer several times! Pizza is life, so I feel your pain. How is the bump coming on?
A ‘friend’ at work pointed and laughed at mine today as if to say “where did that come from?” So I’m feeling like it’s noticeable now.

@LokiCat - congratulations on the beautiful scan pic and welcome to the second tri! It really does start flying over after your 12 week scan :)

@cupcakesandglitter - congratulations on your scan and having a girl! Do you have any name ideas?

@Tropicana1 - Sorry as I’m playing catch up but totally agree with the other ladies about your friend/living situation, and just having to address it. Even if she’s reactive, it would take a pretty bad person to not understand where you’re coming from, let alone kick off at it. I would just say to her something along the lines of; “I realise we haven’t really chatted about this in detail, but if I’m honest, I don’t think our expectations of the living situation match. It’s not long until the baby arrives, and I’d really like to have the house to ourselves by then to start bonding properly. I’m sure you don’t want the sleepless nights I’ll be experiencing either, so is there anything I can do to help you start looking for your own place?”

@purplefig - amazing that you got to see them kick! I bet you felt elated? 😊

@Larrydavid - I also second what the other ladies have said, the first tri drags but as soon as you’ve had your 12 week scan, it’s blink and you miss it! I’ll be 18w in a couple of days! Almost halfway there?! Crazy.

Sorry to anyone I’ve missed. Still fighting exhaustion from the weekend’s antics.

purplefig · 16/10/2019 14:24

@Tropicana1 oh corr blimey, what a situation. It's obviously entirely your call, but if you're interested this is what I think: sometimes in life you have to put yourself first and I think now is one of those times. It's unfortunate she hasn't got the gist herself, as it would make your life easier, but I think you're going to have to help her out here. Also, we can't control how other people behave and react, so if she takes offense that's her issue to deal with and nothing something you need to ruminate over. All you can do is be kind and set boundaries that preserve your sanity! I'd just say something along the lines of "We've been happy to help you out while you move to this new town, but as you know we'll have a baby with us in just a few months and DH and I need to prioritise spending some quality time together just the two of us, not to mention getting the nursery ready...so with that in mind, so with that in mind we really need the house back to ourselves by X."

@MrsR16 oh yes it's so distracting! Are you waiting on the plasterer for the nursery?

@ELW85 hope things have calmed down for you since the weekend and you can get some much needed rest! Yeah it's pretty lovely being able to see them move...DH still hasn't felt them yet though!!

ELW85 · 16/10/2019 15:28

@purplefig - I’m sure he will very soon! Is moved more consistent now?
I’m looking forward to feeling the little one properly. I thought I felt something yesterday but I also think it might have been wishful thinking...

cupcakesandglitter · 16/10/2019 16:09

Thankyou @babysquid @fivebyfive2 @thumper59 @lokicat @tropicana1 @delilah7 @mrseg @purplefig @larrydavid @mrsr16 @elw85 💕 (sorry if I’ve missed anyone, I’ve had to type this on notes to then copy and paste 😩) no names yet - id convinced myself it’d be a boy 😂 DH and I went to ASDA late last night to see if we could just buy a little something for her as a nice memory - bagged some tiny Minnie Mouse pyjamas in the sale!

@thumper59 I’m definitely the same!! I can’t wait for little dresses and tights 😭

@lokicat ahhhh so glad your scan went well!! It’s amazing isn’t it? 🥰

@tropicana1 eeeek god I bet that’s not nice at all! It must be difficult for you but when you’re pregnant I’m not sure how she can be so blasé about it! Are you going to speak to her about it?

Ahhh yes @mrseg glad you understand 😭 it’s properly hit me now and I can actually imagine our future with a little daughter 😭 best feeling in the world (I know I should’ve felt like this from the start but I really struggled to!) Sorry you didn’t have any more luck last night 😩 do you think a thicker one might help?

@delilah7 how are you feeling? Hope you’re doing well 💕

Oh my god @purplefig I bet that was magical 🥰

Sorry @larrydavid I missed your BFP! Congratulations xxxx

MrsEG · 16/10/2019 16:11

@Delilah7 hello stranger!! How are you and Ethan doing?

@purplefig Oh how lovely you saw a kick! Are you noticing baby is more active at certain points? I notice babies much more first thing and last thing, when I’m laying down. Enjoy the brow wax! Yeah, my sister is timing it all based on the childcare - so she gets 30 free hours when he daughter is 3, so is going to try for number 2 in the new year as she’d physically not be able to afford it otherwise. Apparently 18 months is the least you should leave your body post pregnancy before another too, so her midwife told her! Everything needs a good amount of time to heal!

@LokiCat oh what a lovely scan photo! I jumped a few days too, I think it’s quite common! Welcome to the second tri haha!

@Larrydavid There are some massages to help - I’ve got DH doing his research (he trained as a physio!). The first trimester really drags - I tried to stay very busy especially at weekends or time just stood still! It’ll soon speed up don’t worry :)

@Tropicana1 You have to say something, firey or not - it’s you you need to think about! Honestly in my situation with DH friend it really really affected my mental health in the end. I think you can be polite but still firm in saying ‘We need you to move out by X date as we have to prepare for the baby arriving’ - maybe also help her look? I did that in my situ - it made me look helpful and also really showed him up, as amazingly enough when I searched Rightmove there were dozens of suitable properties!!

@MrsR16 Ooh it was a good GBBO last night! Enjoy!!

@ELW85 The saag was absolutely amazing! It’s a Gousto recipe we reuse over and over. Bump is good, it’s so enormous that I’m actually starting to get a bit ‘body concious’ over it as I’m noticing my hips and bum widening now too. And all the ‘bloody hell look at the size of you!’ comments - I don’t know if it’s the hormones, but they’re bothering me a bit now - I still have 4 months to go!!

Having a DAY at work today. Honestly days like these I just lie back and dream of mat leave! Yoga tonight then home for more leftover saag :)

OP posts:
purplefig · 16/10/2019 16:43

@ELW85 What did it feel like? I think I started feeling things early ish on, but it didn't feel anything like kicking or bubbles. More like digestive issues!! I didn't get any proper kick-like feelings until after the 20 week scan, and the sonographer said that's really common. I wouldn't say he/she has settled into a pattern yet, but they normally go pretty crazy after I've eaten something.

@cupcakesandglitter ahhh mini pajamas, how cute! I have to say as someone who doesn't know what they're having, looking at both clothing options, tiny girl stuff looks extraordinarily cute!

@MrsEG they're definitely more active after food! It's more and more now though, it used to be one or two sessions a day and now it's on and off all day. I've read that they do tend to go crazy when you lie down, as the motion of walking around etc. lulls them to sleep. Probably why mine is so active...I'm sat on my butt most of the day! Ooops. Makes sense to take into account childcare...hadn't even thought of that. I did see that the WHO guidelines recommend 24 months, and no fewer than 18 months. And as well as letting your body heal...I can't imagine dealing with first tri nausea and a toddler tbh! Sorry to hear work is challenging today....so not long until mat leave now. But until then, yoga and some saag sounds like a lovely wind down.

Have a fab evening all! I'm off to walk the dog, then heading out to book club x
