Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

Thanks so much @Jemstar33 😁 I have been obsessed with the Clomid feed recently and read a number of your comments. Congratulations to you too, sounds like you bloody deserve this break ❤️

@Smiffette Congratulations! We are due date twins too 😚 🌈

Xxx

AmyMaria2 · 07/10/2019 00:52

@MrsD20 congratulations! Wishing you all the luck!❤️

MamaPeas · 07/10/2019 09:00

Hey @MrsD20, @smiletillyoumakeit, @Seventytwoseventythree and @Smiffette congratulations

How are you doing @Redhill2102

Anny27 · 07/10/2019 11:22

Has anyone told their manager? Or anyone know when they plan on telling them?

Jemstar33 · 07/10/2019 11:40

Hi @anny27 I haven’t told mine yet. I’m waiting to do it as late as possible, we’re supposed to be travelling to India next month so if he starts to push on booking it I’ll tell him sooner, I won’t be going!

Ideally I’ll tell him after 12 weeks xxx

Anny27 · 07/10/2019 11:42

@jemstar33 thats such a coincidence my manager is also on about an indian work trip (will not be going as i went last year and hadfoos poisoning for 10 days so wont risk that with baby!)

Jemstar33 · 07/10/2019 11:46

@anny27 no way! Oh god I bet that was awful! I went earlier on in the year, had one dodgy day but I was fine apart from that. I mostly ate vegetarian food. But as you say, too risky isn’t it. I worry about Zika too xxx

Smiffette · 07/10/2019 13:11

Thanks @MrsD20 😘

Smiffette · 07/10/2019 13:13

@Anny27 I've not told mine yet, but I'm not worried as she knew about the mc and knows I've been trying!

Ohmyohmyohme · 07/10/2019 13:18

Hi Everyone! 👋🏻

Please can I join?

We got our BFP a fortnight ago after TTC for 18 Months with one miscarriage during that time.

Over the Moon to finally get a positive result but naturally terrified until the first scan.
Going by the NHS Due date calculator our little one is due the first week of June 2020!

Lots of Luck and positive vibes to you all! 💫❤️

Fuzzbuzz86 · 07/10/2019 14:41

Hi and welcome to all the newbies and congrats on your BFPs 😊

@anny27 I told my boss last week as my job involves some lifting/moving equipment that I won't be doing haha. But no one else at work, which is hard as I've been feeling constantly sick for the last 2 weeks!

MilsCookie · 07/10/2019 14:45

@Jemstar33 @Anny27 hi girls - I am currently in India now!! I found out I was pregnant 3 days ago whilst in Bangalore. I’m going to be here until the beginning of November. Slightly terrified of food poisoning but also zika! Just trying to be really careful. Eating veg, using hand san before every meal, lathering myself in mosquito repellent! Does anyone have any other tips??

Welcome @Ohmyohmyohme - you must be so so happy! Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy 😊 xxx

Anny27 · 07/10/2019 15:06

@milscookie wow thats really exciting! Yeah i think try and cover up as much as you can to avoid getting bitten. And try to eat vegetarian if possible to avoid any tummy issues

But also try not to get too anxious as there are thousands and thousands of pregnant ladies in india who are absolutley fine :) wishing you safe travels xx

Anny27 · 07/10/2019 15:08

@smiffette i am going to try and hold out as long as i can before telling. If i get bad morning sickness i might have to own up!

@fuzzbuzz86 thats good you have told your boss so you can avoid all the lifting!

@Jemstar33 yeah best to avoid going if you can :) i am sure work will be totally understanding

Jemstar33 · 07/10/2019 15:25

@MilsCookie that’s a long time! It’s a fab place to be though isn’t it, are you enjoying it? Yes to the covering up, I was bitten so badly but on the days I remembered by jungle spray I wasn’t bitten at all so i think that really works. You’re doing all you can and as @anny27 says, there’s plenty of pregnant women there. Just stay hydrated and if you can get any dioralyte I think they helped me too!

My boss also knows about my previous miscarriage so I don’t think it’ll be a shock for him when I tell him.

I got engaged yesterday, on my birthday 😁😁 feels like everything is happening at once but I couldn’t be happier xxx

Jemstar33 · 07/10/2019 15:25

Congratulations @Ohmyohmyohme xxx

Anny27 · 07/10/2019 15:47

@jemstar33 ahh amazing congratulations lovely :D 💍💍

Whatnext11 · 07/10/2019 17:04

@anny27 i told my boss as just figured it would make life easier for me. Now can be a bit late in without too much guilt and have explained I'm not as focussed as usual. Boss was lovely and excited for me.

Jemstar33 · 07/10/2019 17:25

Thank you @Anny27 xxx

MilsCookie · 07/10/2019 18:18

Thank you so much @Jemstar33 and @Anny27 !! It’s not the best timing to be in India but we don’t want to cut our travelling plans short unless we have to!!

HUGE congrats @Jemstar33 - what an exciting time in your life!!! 💍 also happy birthday for yesterday!!

Wishful30 · 07/10/2019 18:25

Evening ladies.
Can I join in with your chat 🙂
I'm due 30th May, 1st baby so it'll probably be late 😂
After 2.5 years of trying, lots of tests, unexplained infertility, 2 rounds of IUI and an ivf appointment booked, I'm still in a bit of disbelief.

MrsD20 · 07/10/2019 19:16

Wow @Jemstar33 that's fab!! Congratulations 💗

I got a bit excited today and did another cheapie test and it's pretty much negative 🤨 Luckily, my mum is a midwife and all round know all of this sort of thing and said it's just because I have been drinking water all day and it's only 2 weeks since ovulation!

I did 3 tests yesterday, 2 from Wilkos and 1 from hosp and all 3 were positive so I'm just praying she was right! Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I hope you've all had a lovely Monday ☺️

P.s, why does my boss not take me to India? 😂
🌈 xx

Jemstar33 · 07/10/2019 19:27

@milscookie you will be fine! Enjoy your freedom whilst you can! Where are you off too next? Thank you so much!

@Wishful30 wow that’s amazing I’m so happy for you! You must be over the moon!

@MrsD20 thanks so much! Haha you need to have a word with your boss!
I’ve only ever taken my tests in the morning so I can’t help but your mum sounds like she knows what she’s talking about and it does make sense! Try not to worry xxx

Whatnext11 · 07/10/2019 19:34

@Wishful30 wow that's amazing! Must admit I was shocked too when I found out, and still can't believe it tbh!

Hawse · 07/10/2019 19:45

Has anyone else been getting very few symptoms? Last week I was just deathly tired with some cramping, and now I feel fine - today basically no symptoms at all. My clearblue is now reading 3+ so I know my hormones have gone up, but getting worried that nothing feels differently. Anyone else experiencing this?
