Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

Hi all. Hope everyone is feeling good! I am feeling like I’ve got a cold. Sniffly nose, slight sore throat, headache and just generally run down. Barely slept last night and also have some cramping and sore boobs!! I hope i don’t always feel like this otherwise I’ve got a loooong 8 months ahead of me!

AmyMaria2 · 05/10/2019 21:53

@MilsCookie hope you feel better soon!

My sickness has totally disappeared, still only getting 2-4 weeks on a digital & only symptom I've really got is sore boobs to touch. Wish something would start happening to make me feel more pregnant lol. Consultant appointment Monday I think she'll do more bloods to check my hcg is going up, and an early scan to check lining so that will be reassuring I hope! x

MilsCookie · 06/10/2019 04:15

Thank you @AmyMaria2! I slept slightly better last night but just feel really run down. This could be nothing to do with being pg though haha! I’m sure in the next few weeks you’ll start having a few more symptoms!

Such an exciting time Smile

Seventytwoseventythree · 06/10/2019 07:40

Hi everyone I have just found out that I’m pregnant with #1. Total surprise as we had been trying for 18 months and was waiting for my period in order to start fertility treatment when I took the test (had to do a few tests before I believed it!).

I feel fine (4 weeks) except I have crampy lower abdominal pains which are exactly like the feeling before getting your period. They’re quite mild but still I keep expecting to start bleeding! Anyone else get this? Internet suggests it may be normal.

Seventytwoseventythree · 06/10/2019 07:41

Also hello @AmyMaria2 nice to see you here after the clomid thread!

Anny27 · 06/10/2019 08:02

Congratulations @seventytwoseventythree :)

I think a lot of us had cramping netween weeks 4 -5/6 so its very normal (even if it is a bit anxiety inducing!)

MilsCookie · 06/10/2019 09:20

Hi @Seventytwoseventythree - I am 4/5 weeks now and I had those cramping pains around the time my period was due (but they were much duller than period pain) and I am still having them on and off now. I read that it’s because your uterus is growing! It’s my first so everything is alien to me!

Jemstar33 · 06/10/2019 10:48

Congratulations @Seventytwoseventythree great to see you here.

Hope everyone is doing good. I’m so excited to be having my first scan on Tuesday, I will be 6+1 xxx

AmyMaria2 · 06/10/2019 11:17

Congratulations @Seventytwoseventythree! Great to see you here, so glad you got your bfp.

@Jemstar33 so exciting, my first scans 30th & had a text this morning with midwife appointment on 29th! xxx

Redhill2102 · 06/10/2019 11:30

Hello all, I was due to join this group as I've had 4 positive pregnancy results (one as recent as Wednesday) but then tested just now and Clear Blue test says 'Not Pregnant' - help? Has anyone had this? I've had mild cramps/wind overnight but no other signs of anything bad. Is this common? Or am I clinging onto false hope? Sorry to be a downer, I'll delete this as this is a happy group. Just v lost and confused right now xx

Anny27 · 06/10/2019 11:32

@redhill2102 sometimes the digitals are less sensitive so it could be that the digitial says pregnant in a few days. Or it could sadly be a chemical pregnancy 💚

Lynsey1679 · 06/10/2019 13:04

Hi just wanted to introduce myself.
I got a positive test last Tuesday. I've been testing every day since and line getting stronger.
I had a loss last year at 21 weeks when I sadly lost my baby girl and then had another miscarriage a few months later.
I'm scared to let myself believe that this is going to happen and I have still to get booked in for appointments etc. I thibk I will call tomorrow and get booked for scans etc.
xx

SuperSarah · 06/10/2019 13:28

@Redhill2102 Have you been using the same brand/type of test every time you have tested? They have different sensitivities as Anny27 said.

SallyWallyDoDah · 06/10/2019 13:49

Good afternoon!!

Seems there are lots of newbies but thought I'd share too. Just found out two days ago (then did a digital yesterday as I wanted it in writing!) that I'm 4 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I'm so excited but also incredibly scared.
My anxiety is through the roof that either something will happen or something will be wrong.
Also getting mild cramps every so often which again made me wonder if there was a problem but after reading it's the uterus growing I feel a bit better!!

Anyway I'm glad we have this group to share our thoughts, feeling and insecurities

My new pregnancy family! Xxx

AmyMaria2 · 06/10/2019 13:59

Congratulations @SallyWallyDoDah and @Lynsey1679 🥰

Notnowokay · 06/10/2019 14:01

Hello newcomers 🖐

@Redhill2102 like said upthread, are you using same brand name test? Did you use your first urine of the day for the negative test? Have you been drinking a lot of water which diluted your urine? There are lot of possibilities, 🤞for good news for you.

MrsD20 · 06/10/2019 19:11

Hi ladies, I'd love to join :)

I have just finished my 1st round of Clomid, was supposed to test tomorrow but my patience ran out so I POAS at 02:40 this morning and was that shocked with my BFP that I couldn't possibly go back to sleep 🙈

My DH and parents are over the moon, as am I but I'm so worried something will go wrong.
I have PCOS, have been TTC for 2 years and 2 months now and had MC at 5 weeks last March so this all feels far to good to be true but I'm just trying to stay positive 🤞🏻

I have strong period pains in the mornings and very sore boobs but I don't care what this pregnancy throws at me as long as it sticks 🌈

Bring on June 2020 girls! Love and Luck to all of you ❤️❤️

Anny27 · 06/10/2019 20:23

Congratulations and welcome @MrsD20 :)

Smiffette · 06/10/2019 20:24

Hi all!
I did a test 2 days ago, I am 4 weeks today with my first! Excited but nervous as I had a mc in April.
We are going to get a private early scan at 8/9 weeks, hopefully that will re assure us!
think I'm due about 15th June! Smile all being well!

Jemstar33 · 06/10/2019 21:01

@MrsD20 congratulations!! I’m so happy for you! I’m a similar story, have conceived using clomid, had a mc at 5 weeks in July and will be 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Wishing you all the very best of luck. I thought the stress was getting pregnant but I’ve not stopped worrying since I found out. Xxx

Jemstar33 · 06/10/2019 21:02

Good luck @Smiffette it’s so exciting xxx

Smiffette · 06/10/2019 21:30
