BFP - Due Jan 2020

Hi ladies,
Excited to say that today I got my BFP and am due 1st January 2020!
This will be my third baby but my partners first. I have two children aged 9 & 7 from a previous relationship.
Anyone else due around New Year? Sticky beans to all! 😀💗💙

@Herewegoagain19 I've had this!! I had a tiny tiny amount about 3 days ago and then again this morning. Only on my first wee of the day though. I'm hoping it's nothing, google says all sorts is normal at this stage. Plus I don't think I'd even notice it if I wasn't looking for it!

It's impossible to forget! I think about it all the time. It's so distracting, and is making time go so slowly.

Thanks hun,god i hate this worrying!I feel like going to bathroom and keep checking,have nothing when wiping except when I peed!I'm drinking water to beat the band here to try pee again!

@Herewegoagain19 everything is so unnerving isn't it! I feel like I've been for a wee about 20 times already as I'm drinking so much water! Have you been thirsty or just making yourself drink?

@BFPhopeful2019 so early congrats again!! Oh god, sounds like your in for a night of loads of questioning haha!
It's my boyfriend's mum's birthday tomorrow night and we've had this night out planned for months so we've got to tell her, she would know straight away! Xx

@maybenextmonth haha that's hilarious! It's so bad isn't it, my boyfriend is getting annoyed and me for getting short tempered with everything!

Is anyone else feeling exhausted, its really hit me today, i want a can of coke, its my weakness but trying to be good!! Im also cold all the time, sitting in work with a big coat on me lol. Anyone recommend a good pregnancy app?

Yeah I'm feeling really tired now as well. Until its bed time and then I can't sleep 😑

Oo yeah does anyone know any good apps? I've just carried on using fertility friend because I can record weight and symptoms in there. I tried ovia but prefer fertility friends. I don't like that the pregnancy apps seem to send daily reminder notifications - I definitely don't need more reminding!

So tired and achey!!!!

I use 'Flo' I always used to it track my periods and ovulation and it has a pregnancy mode which I've changed it to now and it has articles and info related to the symptoms and notes you add daily which I love!

I also use 'Flo', have now for a few years.

But I have also got pregnancy+, it's good but seems a bit pointless this early. It says the size of the baby each week and has pretty cool examples of scan pictures at each week too.

I read up on it today,sporting is common in the early days,it's only if it's in any way heavy that needs for concern.
I'm a little "crampy" today but nothing bad,could be hunger!
Of course to help my mind I bought a CB digital this evening and it's home to 3+ (Tue it was 2-3) .

Spotting is really common @herewegoagain19!! When i had my miscarriage I had quite alot of bright red blood and then the cramps start so as long as it's just spotting to are absolutely fine Hun!! :)

That's good news so reasurring to see isn't it! I've been using the Poundland ones spent so much last month on expensive tests!!

To those going through tests like mad for reassurance - I picked up a pack of 25 dip stick tests for about £3 or £4 from Amazon!

Took a short haul flight today which I was nervous about despite everything saying it's okay to fly, so took a test this afternoon to reassure myself all was okay still. 1st pic is 4 weeks exactly FMU and second is today, late in the day at 4 + 5 so feeling much better!

Congratulations to all the new BFPs recently! It's nice to see so many people getting good news, and to have the forum to chat so early. My sister keeps laughing at me for all my worries! My partner has started fussing a bit though, carrying bags so I don't feel dizzy or sick etc. I could get used to this! 🤔

Hi, I’m 5 +1 today.
I like The Bump app, it’s American but gives updates weekly on what’s going on with baby and with you.
Also gives daily pregnancy articles that are usually interesting reads.
You can also upload pics of your bump as it grows to compare along the way!

Starting to worry myself. I did a cheap test this evening and the line is really quite faint. I shouldn't have done it as It was only ever going to make me worry! I'm going to do another one in the morning and hope the line is darker. Kicking myself a bit for letting myself get into it when I know it's still so early.

@maybenextmonth sending big hugs.Try not to worry ,maybe get a clear blue digital test.you haven't had any bleeding or bad pain,also as it was the evening.Let us knowhow you get on in the morning xx

@maybenextmonth don't worry at all Hun (easier said than done) but like herewegoagain said it wasnt your FMU and you've had no cramps or bleeding (you'd know if something bad was happening trust me!) Sending you all my love, lets us know how the test goes this morning!!xxx

@Maybenextmonth I did EXACTLY the same yesterday a really faint test in the afternoon on a cheapie. But like you, I've been weeing & drinking non stop so hopefully my urine was just really diluted 😩 I'm doing a FRER tomorrow FMU as that's what I used Wednesday when I found out, hoping 4 days would make some difference to the line x

Morning ladies @Herewegoagain19 @Millsss @MrsM18 thank you for your replies and reassurance. I had such a rubbish sleep worrying about it (not helped by my drunken husband coming in at 2am and being sick for an hour. Anyway, that's another story! Ha!)

Was mostly worried because when I MCd before, I knew it was going to happen as I had an early scan that said there was an irregular heartbeat and to expect the worst, then I didn't MC until a week later.

Anyway, I did a test first thing. Picture shows the two at the bottom taken this morning and the top one last night (you'll see why I was so worried!)

I'm obviously so happy that they are waaayyy darker so feel reassured there, but for 4+4 would you expect darker? Would you be happy with these lines?

I'm going to go out and get some better ones today and test with those tomorrow.

@MrsM18 sorry, didn't acknowledge that it happened to you as well. Its so worrying isn't it. It's so so hard not to just test randomly when I have so many lying around but I know I shouldn't. Let us know how your line develops as well. Not sure how I'd get past these early weeks without this group. I only found out a week ago - feels like a lifetime!

I'd be happy with those lines. Try not to at all, but especially don't test at night. I say that after just running away from my clear blue digital sat in my bathroom.. I know I'll end up doing it it the next couple if days, I want to see it move to 'Pregnant 3+' more than anything x

@LizzieZara Thanks! I've definitely learned from the night time testing mistake and shan't be doing that again. I got my 2 -3 on a CB on Wednesday so am hoping I'll get the 3+ in a few days, then I'll ditch testing altogether. Hope you get yours soon

@Chantalle3 great idea taking a test after your flight, i have to travel to the US in a few weeks for work and am so nervous even though flights are absolutely fine to take! I think im more nervous if i have morning sickness, how do i hide it from the team etc

@Deeny83 when are you flying? We are going to Spain when I'll be about 9wks and ibdidnt flyin either of mykast 2 pregnancies but doc said it's totally fine. 1 of my 1st questions was can i still wear a bikini in the sun while pregnant (love getting my tan)

@maybenextmonth delighted hun,I was similar on those cheap tests on my 2nd born,They are What I used and I tested at midnight and line was sooo faint but next not ing bought a FR and it was nice and dark

@maybenextmonth I got my 2-3 on Wednesday too! I'm either 4+6 or 5+1, different calculators are telling me different dates. Fingers crossed we get that 3+ soon, I'm sure we will! X
