Hi ladies,
Excited to say that today I got my BFP and am due 1st January 2020!
This will be my third baby but my partners first. I have two children aged 9 & 7 from a previous relationship.
Anyone else due around New Year? Sticky beans to all! 😀💗💙

Anyone else not sleeping the night?I'm either going to bed earlier,about 10/10.30 and awake from about 4am or Friidid the opposite and stayed up reallylate but still woke early (after about 4hrs).Have been having a nosey at the Dec thread to see when people had symptoms as still not much here bar a constant bloated feeling,I'm not picking at food though,I'm with feeling full or hungry!My boobs have gpt a little bigger but they are only sore when i 1sr take my bra off.
Myself and DH went for dinner last night and it was the first chat with a little positivity from him which has really reassured me as it's been hard all week to just leave him to get his head around it.
Anyone else finding every conversation around hem.seems to be pregnancy/babies and you feel like a fraud saying nothing?Lol! Even my poor mam is finding it since I told her!!

Thanks. I'm really hoping it's just my cervix being irritated or something. No more yet after that one wipe but now I'm really paranoid and keep checking.

I've struggle sleeping. Same as you, sometimes ill struggle to get to sleep, other times I wake up at 4am and can't get back to sleep and whatever I'll be awake at 6am. Sorry, I don't remember the story with your DH, is it a surprise baby?

Congratulations! I got my BFP on 30/4 and worked out my due date (approximate) as 10th Jan (two days after my other half!) but obviously that could change once I have the dating scan.

I feel so happy but so scared / nervous at the same time, I really didn't expect to see a positive on the first test I took after our first month of trying .... OH says I must be super fertile and he must have super swimmers lol!

Telling my parents and sister today as we are off on holiday to Cyprus and won't be able to get through the holiday without them guessing in PG anyway as I'm
Abstaining from alcohol! Wish me luck :)

I got my BFP last Sunday after three years of trying ( IVF baby here too, although I have a DD from a previous relationship ) and my tentative due date is 8th Jan Smile. I’ve got a blood test next week and then a scan in a few weeks but it’s starting to feel a bit more real now!

@Herewegoagain19 ill be 7 weeks when im flying, i don't think I'd have given it a 2nd thought if it was for a holiday :-) im sure sunbathing will be fine, great to get some vitamin d! Hope you have fab time! I think im just stressing as its a work trip and no one will know I'm pregnant, jet lag etc I'm sure it will be fine, i have a scan a few days before i go and they've suggested i scan again when i get back.

Last night i got a really bad dizzy spell, thought i was going to faint and had really bad cramp, it only lasted a few minutes but it had me freaked out, that EP scan cant come quick enough. Im not having much symptoms now, still feeling tired and sleeping a lot, and a bit short of breath at times but no nausea and my boobs aren't as sore anymore. Not sure if i should be worried they aren't as sore as before!

I told my sister and brother in law yesterday and they were so surprised and delighted, i was excited with them for a while, now its back to overthinking and worrying ha ha

Had some red spotting earlier so I am currently on my way to been seen in EPU.my local hospital where in had my 2 kids can't see me for 8 days !The one I am going to is the one I attended for my last MC

Best wishes to everyone having spotting etc. I had this for a couple of days in my first pregnancy and he is now 3 year old. You just can't tell.  As I wrote before I've suffered a miscarriage in my last pregnancy too. It could go either way.. fingers crossed !

Those who have booked early scans, when are they?
I've booked one for at 7 weeks. I think I'll be 7 weeks plus a few days, if it all goes well ?!

Mine is booked for 7+1 based on when I think I ovulated dumdumdeedum.

And yeah, I'm trying to just accept that I've done everything I can at this point and either it's a good'un or it's not. No point stressing too much.

@dumdumdeedum I'm booked for 7 weeks exactly based on LMP but I may well be 7+ a couple as well. The next 2 weeks will either fly or feel like 2 months

Yes, I am having trouble sleeping. I had a good nap yesterday afternoon but then i wake up every day around 5.30-6 really perky. Trying to make the most of this by getting up and enjoying the morning as i always wanted to be one of those 'successful get up early in the morning-smug as fuck- people' and i feel i should make the most of being one before it wears off.

Feeling a bit dopey today but otherwise no particular symptoms. Havent booked a scan yet as only found out late friday so will contact midwife on tuesday but maybe pay for my own private scan around 6 weeks or so. My period was 4.5 weeks ago so i think in a fortnight or so would be about right.

Thanks mumsey2be, still no more bleeding here so I'll see what the morning brings (it's evening already where I am). I agree the napping is so nice! I've had the most satisfying afternoon naps this weekend. I normally don't nap cause I know it'll ruin my sleep but when pregnant it makes no difference! Love it!

Hi all, I'm tentatively joining this group but I still don't know if this is real. I took a FRER last night at 7pm and got this result (the one over the bath). I've then barley slept a wink, got up at 6am and did the next picture, it didn't develop as quick as the other, in my tiredness I thought it was negative and didn't wait the time. When I got up at 8am i took this picture.

So currently I don't know where I stand. Not due on until Tuesday so it's really early. I want this more than anything so I'm just hoping it's not a false positive.

That's a good positive McHelenz! I wouldn't worry too much about not much change in the line between yesterday evening and this morning - not much time has passed and urine concentration of HCG will fluctuate as it rises anyway. Test again on Tuesday and hopefully you'll see a lovely dark line.

@kinsters husband isnt sure. I've rushed out and bought 2 FRERs and a clearblue. Just don't know when to even consider the clearblue because I'm scared of a not pregnant flashing at me

Hey, I'm joining. Got my BFP today. Did 4 tests as didn't quite believe it but they showed pregnant pretty much straight away. Was due yesterday. Hope everyone's little beans stick Flowers

Not sure what's going on, being having pain in my right ovary since I woke up. I've just got back from the EPU, they checked me over and said everything seems fine and took my bloods. Waiting for results from bloods via phone call. They said if it's over 1500 I can get booked in for a scan but I have one at my clinic on Thursday and it might not be before that. They don't know why I'm in pain but didn't seem to be concerned.

McHelenz my DH is a bit like that as well, I think it's easier for them to dismiss it because it's not their bodies. I'd think you'd get a positive CB digi with that line though. I had this FRER much lighter than yours a couple of cycles ago and got 1-2 weeks on a digi. It is nerve wracking though. I kinda prefer not to know.

DaisyMay25 that's strange about the ovary pain. They're not concerned about ectopic or anything? Since I had some bleeding I'm super aware of even the slightest pains. I hope it's just gas. Fingers crossed for your HCG levels and scan.

daisy I have a stretching pain on my left side, almost feels like I’ve pulled a muscle or something. Is it similar? I think cramps and pains are all normal unless it’s accompanied by blood - at least that’s what I was told when I had DD anyway!

@Kinsters they prodded around and said there's no hard bits and my cervix was closed. I'm hoping at the very worse it's a cyst on my ovary. I constantly looking for blood now when I go to the loo now though. Glad your bleeding has stopped though, I think as long as there's no pain with it then it's usually nothing to be concerned about

@Missmonkeypenny it's just a sharp stab in and off, it dies seem to be easing off a little now though. I'm hoping it is just something stretching. It's so hard to not worry in these early stages

@kinsters I think he's coming round a bit. I told him I was going for a bath and he is joking because I have it boiling and he keeps asking me if it's wise to have one 🙄🙄🙈.

Seeing yours has made me realise just how strong mine is, how many days post was that? I'm saving the clear blue till Tuesday. I may use a FRER tomorrow.

daisy oh god, don’t. It’s awful. You wait ages for a BFP, then get one and are more worried and nervous than you ever were before. I cannot wait to get to a point when I can stop freaking out if I cramp/if I don’t cramp/ constant knicker checking/ boob touching. It’s exhausting!
