BFP - Due Jan 2020

Hi ladies,
Excited to say that today I got my BFP and am due 1st January 2020!
This will be my third baby but my partners first. I have two children aged 9 & 7 from a previous relationship.
Anyone else due around New Year? Sticky beans to all! 😀💗💙

@dumdumdeedum I don't really think I have any symptoms yet - just sore boobs!! I feel tired a lot but that isn't unusual for me, I'm always tired! Lol. X

@Herewegoagain19 it just popped in to my head that it must have been a couple of weeks since you got your surprise news. Did you have another scan in the end? Are you feeling more settled with the news now?

Hi ladies,sorry I haven't really been on.Hope everyone Is keeping well.indid get another scan on Monday and there was still 2 sacs, 1 with a little heartbeat 😀 he other still just GS and yolk sac.told to come back in 2 work have been a bit all over the place coz they mentioned threatened miscarriage (had small bits of spotting) of 1 or both,possibly 1 viable and 1 not....never mentioned it was normal for twins to have a couple of days in the difference of implantation/growth so I still don't know for definate!I tried to ask loads of questions and kept getting told "we will see you in 2wks" .I feel a bit in limbo!a private scan won't even do any good coz they are abdominal and mine have been internal.They also dated me 3 days less which is fine as I wasn't definate on my my dates.GP said that it was great to see a heartbeat at 5+5.

Dumdumdeedum symptoms wise my boobs aren't as sore but nausea has set in,anything wet...saucy food,soup,water makes me wanna throw up, I dunno what I want,or enjoying anything.the thought of food males me feel sick buthunger makes me feel sick 😂
Smells are killing me....smokers iWork are making me heave every hr when they return from smoke break,I can smell everything off people be it,deodrant or BO!We had a guy in work today working on the kitchen he kept calling me over to look and I could barely speak ,he stank!!!

Ah that's exciting. Not so exciting you're in limbo but I worried it might have been bad news as we hadn't heard from you. My private scan this weekend offer internal, but you don't want to waste your money if enough time hasn't passed to see a change anyway! Good luck for your next one 🤞

Hello everyone congrats to you all.I'm not yet sure of my edd date yet but I have missed my periods and so I know the deed is done.I have been experiencing nausea for the past4 weeks.It doesnt go away.I feel that way the whole day but I never vomit.I had a miscarriage on Jan 1 at 9weeks so I'm hoping for the best this time.Good luck to you all.

Thanks here we go agaun19.its nice to be back.Its so funny how sensitive our nose get..I'm also struggling with smells.I feel like throwing up there and then but nothing comes out

That's great that you got to see a heartbeat herewegoagain, hopefully the other one catches up.

I had some bleeding on Monday and was convinced I was having another miscarriage so went for a scan but it was there with a heartbeat and measuring 6+2 which is about what I expected. No idea what caused the bleeding but it seems to have stopped for now. Follow up scan in a couple of weeks.

My boobs are so sore! And have grown quite noticeably (to me anyway, I'm sure it's not obvious when I'm wearing clothes). I have boughts of nausea, mostly if I stuff myself full of junk food - I had a slice of cake after lunch and really regretted it all afternoon! And yes, my sense of smell is so strong. I hope that's one of the symptoms that abates after the first trimester.

Hi - got a positive this morning. Very much a surprise (2dcs already aged 9 and 6) been out of the baby stage for a loooong time and not sure I know what I've let myself in for!

EDD 17th jan apparently but was early with both my others so who knows.

Has anyone had an early scan yet? I know lots of people said they might around 7-8 weeks, but may have left the thread?

@Kinsters I see you had a scan. I'm glad it was good news despite the spitting. Hope the next one gives you a even more reassurance.

@Herewegoagain19 private early pregnancy scans are vaginal too. Not all private places do them though, so you'd have to look specifically places that do the early scans at 6/7/8 weeks. But I think despite the wait I'd just wait for your next hospital one.

Hi I hope it's ok to join! After first month ttc and a couple of days feeling queasy I have taken a test and it looks like a bfp! Cant believe it, in total shock! My last period was the 19th April so guessing I'm due end of Jan if all goes well :) total novice and not a clue what to do next!

Dumdumdeedum yeah I'll wait coz place I was going private doesn't do internal scans.

Definitely a BFP @Beck2277 -you usually need to get a. Booking appointment with a midwife when you are 7-10 weeks -I had to be seen earlier because of a genetic condition but otherwise the next appointment would have been 4 weeks away so you might need to call earlier!! I'm 6w today now xx

@dumdumdeedum -I have a scan booked on 11th June am supposed to have one at 8 weeks but they couldn't fit me til I'm 9 weeks - I had to have these early scans on my 2 previous pregnancies too xx

I have and all looking ok so far.id brown and pinky mostly.I had internal twice and both times all looked ok and mubwomb was closed

Update this morning...great news baby looking well,good heartbeat and there is only 1 2nd GS sac has stopped growing and the yolk sac is gone

I've got one booked for Tuesday where I will be between 6 weeks 4 days and 7 weeks 2 days, I'm extremely nervous as symptoms have subsided and again I've had no sickness (previous blighted ovum)

Thank you.theybdated me at 7wks + 3 days but i saw HB last week at 6 + 1 (though they measured at 5+5).My boobs were very sore to begin but it's eased and I was find bar feeling bloated and uncomfortable in bed but the sickness has kicked in now and everyday is different!
Every one must have moved to other thread/Facebook?It's very quiet here!
Is this your 5th baby (guessing by your name)? Did you previously have sickness on others?mine is different this time and my 1st and 2nd were different to each other too

@Herewegoagain19 yes 5th baby!! With the girls the sickness was worse but if I'm honest I can't remember much else about the first few weeks, I didn't worry then, probably because I had age on my side!!
I've had tiredness, sore boobs etc but I did with the previous pregnancy.
Hopefully will have a lovely scan on Tuesday and I will relax a little xx

Hey all. I'm looking to be due around 5th January. Booking app is the 11th June with midwife and 1st scan is on the 1st July. This is my 2nd. I have a little girl Alexa who was 5 last week. Thinking of getting an early scan just to have the comfort of a heartbeat x
