Hiya peeps,

DP and I have once again had a discussion over spelling of LO's name...when he gets here lol.

We have settled on Konor Michal, Konor is my way of spelling it but dp says if it being spelt with a K then we should spell it Konnor, I say Konor.

Michal he won't even attempt to judge me on as it was my dads name....pronounced Mehal it is Polish.

Which way would you choose? I prefer Konor and dp Konnor...

I'd love to J20, but if you Google my first name only two come up in the UK and I'm one of them.

is it pretty?

i want an unusual pretty name for my lo, want to email me it, promise not to tell anyone

Twinklemegan · 07/07/2007 22:50

I've not got CAT I'm afraid J20. But I wouldn't recommended it for your DD. I suppose it is pretty and people do comment on it, but I've grown to hate it over the years.

j20baby · 07/07/2007 22:51

i'm intrigued, i've not got cat either, but got email.

if you change your mind, let me know and i will give you my email address

Twinklemegan · 07/07/2007 22:52

Oh I'll happily email you if you're willing to post your address here.

j20baby · 07/07/2007 22:53

also, while your all here, does anyone know the spelling of a mnner on her called something like mummytotwinsx2? she had quite a few names i liked for her dc's that she said she wouldn't mind me borrowing but can't remember her exact name

Heated · 07/07/2007 22:53

You've made me howl with laughter!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/07/2007 22:55

I always get a "Mc" added to the front of my surname for reasons I just cant fathom. As if it doesnt have enough letters in it already.

I am still boggling at 'not caring what people think so i'm not posting the name'.......

I think you should use the normal spelling of Connor. The "K" is really not "Kwurky" IMO.

j20baby · 07/07/2007 22:55

oo thanks twinkle its

Twinklemegan · 07/07/2007 22:57

j20baby · 07/07/2007 22:59

MamaMaiasaura · 07/07/2007 23:01

j20baby · 07/07/2007 23:02

Am quite pleased with myself awen twinkle it is co.uk have just checked

Twinklemegan · 07/07/2007 23:02

Done. I think we've probably bored em all rigid now lol.

j20baby · 07/07/2007 23:05

ahhh i see, so is it a silent one then or pronounced when your name is said? [if you see what i mean]

Twinklemegan · 07/07/2007 23:07

No it's pronounced. Name is said exactly as written. It seems some people just think they know better than me what my name is.

Twinklemegan · 07/07/2007 23:08

So is it a potential choice?? You won't offend me.

j20baby · 07/07/2007 23:08

well they would do wouldn't they

it is very pretty, have emailed you back

j20baby · 07/07/2007 23:10

although, i could change the first letter of it or the first 2, may play around with it, won't be posting it on here though
