I'm due Nov 3rd. Had 2 HCGs at work because I was paranoid oops

SapphireK · 27/02/2019 08:14

How is everyone? I am feeling really queasy this morning so I think my morning sickness is here. 4+6 now.

Midwife appointment not til April she said she doesn't need to see me until then, feel like it's a little late but seems a number of you guys are in same situation.

Prequelle · 27/02/2019 08:16

I can only have an appointment at 8 weeks too.

I'm feeling great which is surprising given for the past 4 nights I've woken up at 2.30am and been unable to get back to sleep. Not good when you work 13 hour shifts!

HJWT · 27/02/2019 08:21

Morning everyone! Hope you are all feeling ok today not to sick or dizzy 😁

Iv got my 2nd scan today to confirm the pregnancy as couldn't see anything last week so wish me luck 🤞🏻

Bluebell9 · 27/02/2019 08:29

Good Luck @HJWT.

I get my morning sickness in the evening, and got really dizzy last night too. I must have has a hormone surge as I also sobbed on DP (after being stroppy with him) and had no idea why I was crying!

TheNightIsForever · 27/02/2019 08:31

Good luck @HJWT!

Im feeling sick today but got to try and hide it as DD 11 is home 🤮

Waitingformyrainbow · 27/02/2019 08:33

Hi ladies, congratulations all. I’m due 5th of November, due to 2 miscarriages previously, my doctor has prescribed me 400mg Progesterone to take at night, along with baby aspirin. Is anyone else taking these?

brighteye3986 · 27/02/2019 09:35

@Waitingformyrainbow I'm on cyclogest 3 times a day. Not sure if this is what you have been prescribed. I have to take it as I had IVF. I've been taking it now for almost 3 weeks and have to continue until I'm at my 12 week mark.

Shefliesonherownwings · 27/02/2019 10:35

Morning all, for some reason I am super anxious today. Woke up just expecting things to go wrong and to start bleeding or something. Think it's because I have this headache which I used to get during AF (menstrual migraines) and it's made me think the worst. Also feeling shattered which doesn't help despite 11 hours sleep last night!

HJWT · 27/02/2019 11:22

@Shefliesonherownwings Its all of the hormones hun!!

Scan went great saw a heartbeat and baby is measuring at 6 weeks! But I'm 5+3 x

Needadoughnut · 27/02/2019 11:27

@HJWT was this a private scan? That's amazing!!

Hi Ladies, I hope its ok to join? I got my BFP yesterday so my estimated due date would by 7th November. We have a 17 month old DD so this is all really exciting. I'm really nervous aswell as its so early but trying to be positive!

amehh · 27/02/2019 12:52

Great news @HJWT!

Waitingformyrainbow · 27/02/2019 13:02

@brighteye3986 yes I'm on the same, I've not had my Progesterone levels checked so I'm a little worried there maybe too much in my system, if that's even possible?

Waitingformyrainbow · 27/02/2019 13:04

Hi ladies, does anyone know the earliest they can do a scan abdominally please? Thank you Smile

brighteye3986 · 27/02/2019 13:13

@Waitingformyrainbow I'm not too sure if there can be too much. It may be that they feel your body isn't producing enough progesterone which is needed in the pregnancy.

brighteye3986 · 27/02/2019 13:14

@HJWT that's great.

I have been booked in for a viability scan for 21st March which will make me 7+3 I think

HJWT · 27/02/2019 13:42

@Needadoughnut no it was with the NHS as I had a small bleed, I had blood when I wiped after the scan but they said that its normal xx

ChesMum2019 · 27/02/2019 15:23

Hi all. I've had a little bit of brown spotting mucous when I wiped. I think I'm 5 weeks. I fear I'm miscarrying. I have no morning sickness yet neither is this another bad sign. I have had two recurrent miscarriages so heightened worry

Ruthsoph · 27/02/2019 16:09

Poor you @ChesMum2019, hopefully its nothing - nothing I can say but big hugs xxx

Ruthsoph · 27/02/2019 16:10

also not everyone gets morning sickness - I certainly didn't when I was carrying my daughter so don't fret about that xx

Erismorn · 27/02/2019 16:42

I'm confused. My cold addled brain can't cope. The first day of my last period was 17/01/19. I have a 35 day cycle, and am adjusting the calculators to reflect this. Why are some pregnancy calculators (including the NHS) putting me at 5w6d, and some 4w6d, with the exact same information?

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 27/02/2019 17:36

Ches - try not to worry. I didn’t have morning sickness with DC1 and I got SO WORRIED as everyone said morning sickness was a good sign. Thankfully everything was fine. I also had a lot of bleeding with DC2 until 16 weeks and was told that there’s generally nothing to worry about if it’s brown blood and just a bit. Maybe if it turns red and you get a lot of bleeding call the EPU?

Well my bad cramps continued and I had a very small bleed earlier. I’m going to wait and see how things go and if I haven’t had a big bleed in the next week or so I will book a private scan for 7-8 weeks. I hate this stage when you have nobody to talk to Grin (obviously you can choose to tell people this early on and I don’t really understand the obsession with waiting until the dating scan’s taken place...I just don’t really have anyone close to talk to who will be excited for us Sad).

Leleophants · 27/02/2019 18:11

Anyone else have it planned but still freaking out a bit?

Leleophants · 27/02/2019 18:13

@TheGruffalosLoveChild that's a shame there's no one. At least you have this.

I feel quite vulnerable and don't know who I should tell really as keep worrying something might happen and feel like I need to get my head around it first.
