Does someone mind adding me please? I don’t have the app.

Age 35. Baby # 1. Due date 4/11

I woke up with really bad nausea at 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep. Lots of dry heaving but no vomiting. Think I’ll bring crackers or something up to bed with me to see if it helps. Feeling mildly queasy today.

keepforgettingmyusername · 12/03/2019 11:08

Thanks @piddlestix and @worriedmomtobe1. @piddlestix I hope it's over quickly for you and the next one sticks x

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 11:11

So sorry @piddlestix I’ll meep my fingers crossed for a miracle tomorrow for you. I’ve been there many time myself

@keepforgettingmyusername are you able to have a scan at the epu? I’ve had 3+ losses so am entitled to early scans. They say to try do it from 8 but have always seen me earlier (last pregnancy I had bleeds at 5/6 weeks) fingers crossed for you.

Ruthsoph · 12/03/2019 11:17

I am feeling completely washed out today – headache, tired, feel cold, tummy ache on and off which literally makes me so nervous, feeling sick and then super hungry – going loo and worried to look at the tissue - have my early scan next Friday and I will be 7+3 so hopefully then will set my mind at rest – anyone else getting these symptoms?

LokiCat · 12/03/2019 11:26

Hi ladies, I'll probably not be joining you guys, unfortunately. My brown spotting turned to heavy bleeding yesterday and has continued today, with unbearable cramping. Went to EPU for an internal scan and they couldn't find anything. Doctor thinks it may also be because it's still early, but it's likely to be a miscarriage. They've done a blood test to check for hormone levels and will do a second one on Thursday.
If anything changes I'll obviously come back but otherwise I wish you all a very happy, healthy pregnancy and so excited for all of you on your pregnancy journey xxx

Knickersononeshead · 12/03/2019 11:30

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 12:16

Thinking of you @LokiCat

Waitingformyrainbow · 12/03/2019 12:27

@piddlestix and @LokiCat I'm so sorry you are going through this, I really hope everything is ok for you both xx

Miller2 · 12/03/2019 12:35

@lokicat sorry to hear that. Sending you lots of love.

I've had light brown spotting (like the colour of milky tea) on and off since Thursday night. Had a scan Friday which was fine but the on and off spotting has continued. I notice it about twice day when I wipe but not every time 'usually in the morning then again mid afternoon ish. Phoned the EPU today and they said nothing anyone can do but wait as I've already has a scan. They said the spotting may just go away in a week or two as it's not constant, or it may get worse in which case I need to call back. I hate feeling this out of control. I'm a control freak at heart and this is all very worrying to me. I know I should be hopeful but I'm not feeling that way at the moment.

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 13:15

@Miller2 the waiting is so hard. This stage of pregnancy is so scarty and frustrating because there isn’t much we can do to reassure ourselves. It’s realky positive you had a good scan Friday.

Fingers crossed for you xx

Miller2 · 12/03/2019 13:21

@mintypea5 yes the heartbeat was nice and fast. I feel so attached to that little blob on the screen with its heart flashing away that I'm even more worried something will happen now. I'd like to go to sleep and wake up in 6 weeks time when things are a little more certain one way or another!

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 13:36

Hi just found yesterday I am 41 DS is 14 and DD is 9 DP is 47 never had children we got engaged 3 weeks ago so been distracted can't believe it has happened now.

We're both very happy, a lot to sort out, wedding hopefully can be brought forward

ChesMum2019 · 12/03/2019 13:48

@piddlestix
@LokiCat
I'm sorry to hear that and I'm hoping for a miracle for you both. Sending you lots of love

@Miller2 I am around the same amount of weeks as you I think. I also have brown once a day when I wipe. Very light brown. Midwife said essentially it's normal and having seen heartbeat and scan showing right amount of weeks things are looking great. I do know it's still a terrible worry though. And stresses me every day. I'm back the 19th and will just keep working towards each date and hopefully make it to meet our rainbow

Also I am pretty sure once the thread reaches 1000 posts it wont let you post anymore so a new thread may have to be started. I could be wrong but I think that's the case

Miller2 · 12/03/2019 14:16

@chesmum2019 I'm due 5th November and am currently 6+1. You? Your symptoms sound the same as mine from your description anyway. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one anyway. I read it can be the placenta forming or attaching to the womb or something along those lines so fingers crossed it's something to do with that. Yep the thread won't accept new posts once it hits 1000. Shall I set up a new one called "Due November 2019 Continued"?

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 14:29

@Miller2 I know that feeling. Flowers even tho you’ve already had a scan if it continues or you’re getting really worried do try going back to see the epu for a follow up scan. I had avfair few last pregnancy due to bleeds

A new thread would be great. We can put the link in here to make it easier to follow Star

Miller2 · 12/03/2019 14:40

I've set up a new thread before this one comes to an end due to reaching the post limit.

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 17:33

@3at42 this will be my 3rd too at 42 found out last night

Feelingsolow12345 · 12/03/2019 18:09

Omg this trapped wind is horrible. Work has been the worst. Nausea has crippled me

brighteye3986 · 12/03/2019 19:18

@Feelingsolow12345 I feel your pain. I thought I had cramps but actually think slot of it has been trapped wind! Doesn't help that I'm on extra progesterone so my body is probably working overtime....
