@smiffette I'm 6 weeks on Friday but I'm finding it so hard, my heart rate shoots up much more quickly now! I've heard it gets easier in the second trimester so I'm just plodding along until then but thought I also might take up swimming to keep fitness up on weeks where I just don't want to go.

I really really want to be one of those crazy pregnant ladies running when they are ready to pop Grin

Jjohno · 06/03/2019 19:17

@LokiCat I have done 6 pregnancy tests including two CB digital, I wish they did a CB up to 8 weeks so you can see the weeks go up! 😂 my boobs are similar - I suppose I also get VERY hungry within seconds but I’ve never heard of that as a symptom!

CurrerBell1979 · 06/03/2019 19:25

Due the 14th of november

so excited but scared as had a MC few years a go and this is your first positive sine then

Did a IVF 2 years a go but I got really sick with OHSS and spend 17 days in hospital so we have been reluctant to try that again

we did IUI now andam really hoping this one will stick!

Both turning 40 this year and this would be our first

tigsyboo · 06/03/2019 19:44

@Jjohno I get starving within seconds!!
Yesterday in the space of a half hour swimming lesson for DSS I went from fine to so hungry I was going to be sick and had to get a bag of crisps from the vending machine, I was having my dinner 10 mins later but I just couldn't wait!!

Smiffette · 06/03/2019 19:45

@amehh I know what you mean! I really want to be running right up until I drop, providing my body can handle it. Not sure I'll be managing 9 milers anymore though, I'll be happy with 4/5 miles a few times a week Smile

Fingers crossed for the second trimester.

@currerbell1979 congratulations

Leleophants · 06/03/2019 19:49

Hi again, sorry for lack of posting lately!

5 and a bit weeks and no symotoms yet, unless you count tiredness. The dull period like ache is going away. Trying not to panic!Confused

Cegbee · 06/03/2019 19:55

I'm 6+1 and nausea kicked in yesterday right on cue! Feel awful at work at the moment but last week I was worried because I had no sickness! What a flipping rollercoaster!

Jjohno · 06/03/2019 20:00

@tigsyboo i have been exactly the same! I had jacket potato for lunch, and a four finger kitkat... by 5:30 I was so hungry I could have been sick! I love food but still haha

amehh · 06/03/2019 20:01

@smiffette that is my overall aim too, no more than 5-6 miles per run but I think I might have to (carefully of course) work my way back up since I was down with a sinus infection and then straight into pregnancy so I haven't had a good run for well over a month now and I can't see it happening in the next few weeks either - my whole body just feels tired and like lead!

thumper59 · 06/03/2019 20:32

I'm also going from normal to ravenous in no time! Bizzare isn't it. Been very tired tonight finally just dragged myself up for a bath. OH cooked tea, did all the pots, tucked me up on the sofa and ran me a bath. He's a good one- I feel so blessed to have him as the father of our child, what a lucky baby it will be!

LG0914 · 06/03/2019 20:46

How far gone are you @Em39ma to be able to have a scan? Glad it came back ok.

Sorry to hear your news @MamaGeordie!!

Jinglebells321 · 06/03/2019 21:16

@MamaGeordie. So sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself xx

WineWinner · 06/03/2019 21:42

Hi everyone, I'm 4 weeks today from my 2nd ivf after miscarrying early last time. Got a positive from 3 days after transfer so have known for 6 days but already feel like. Lifetime! Obsessed with testing every morning after last time but my lines were never as dark as this so I'm cautiously optimistic!

Due November 2019
LokiCat · 06/03/2019 21:49

@WineWinner welcome and congratulations! That last line is so strong! So sorry for your previous mmc, fingers crossed this one is the one 🤞🏽💕

Em39ma · 06/03/2019 22:01

@LG0914
I’m 7 weeks 3 days now. Which is what I thought, but my community midwife said I was only just 6 weeks

ally62442 · 06/03/2019 22:21

Has anyone else had dull lower back ache? I've read it can be normal but I don't remember it being like this when pregnant with my son. Everything little things has me worried in these early days.

Kinsters · 07/03/2019 00:55

Nice line progression WineWinner!

I did another FRER last night (11dpo) and the line was much stronger than my 9dpo fmu line which was nice to see. Going to wait till the weekend to do a CB digital. I've stopped temping as my sleep is too disturbed for it to be meaningful.

TrashKitten10 · 07/03/2019 05:47

@WineWinner Sorry to hear about your previous mc, those lines look lovely and strong though :)

@thumper59 Your OH sounds lovely! Mine was talking last night about taking on cooking the dinners if I get too tired/unwell (He does all the cleaning in the house and I do the cooking normally). The man can barely cook an egg so I need to get him on a cookery crash course I think Grin

PhoenixBird82 · 07/03/2019 06:09

Hello, everyone! I’ve posted this message also on BFP after IVF/ICSI.
Had my BFP on March 1st, 5w2d today. I had to do a blood test. Went to do another blood test on the 4th, just to make sure that HCG numbers were progressing. They do, although I can’t find the reliable referral HCG numbers to compare if they are normal - every source has different info. And is it stupid to compare your numbers to everyone else’s? What do you think?
I don’t have many symptoms - but it’s soo early still, except for being tired, and a slight pulling sensation in abdomen, not like AF though, which I’ve been having for almost a week already.
But the thing that I am over stressing about at the moment is that yesterday night I’ve made myself an oregano and raspberrry leaf tea from the dried herbs I have. And this morning I’ve read that these particular herbs are among the big no’s during the pregnancy as they make uterus more active and in ancient times were used to induce miscarriage. And surely when I told this to my husband, he didn’t take me seriously and I felt like an overcautious idiot.
But as far as I’ve found out this morning, it’s better to be careful when drinking herbal teas, herbal mixes and black teas in general, just to be on the safer side.
I really hope I haven’t done any harm.

PhoenixBird82 · 07/03/2019 06:10

Ahh, forgot to write, my other strong symptoms is itchy armpits that has also been with me for the last 5 days....

Miller2 · 07/03/2019 06:26

@ally62442 my back was really achy last week to the extent I didn't know what to do with myself. I now have a lumbar support on the back of my ovvide chair which has made it much better. Moving around more eases it too. It's not been as bad since I've done that.

Miller2 · 07/03/2019 06:27

^office chair (no idea what an ovvide chair is, sometimes this phone keyboard drives me nuts!)

LG0914 · 07/03/2019 06:32

@Em39ma oh okay, I'm 5wks 2 days according to an app. And I've had some bleeding, was told couldn't have scan until 7weeks. So nervous.
@ally62442 yes pretty much on and off the whole time, yesterday was bad and that's when I had some bleeding. They've said it's normal at the minute and just to rest up and keep an eye on it. If it gets to be a lot I need to get checked.

Needadoughnut · 07/03/2019 07:20

I wasted my last CB digital and it came back with 3+ . It's been two weeks since my BFP at 10dpo. I'm so glad that it isn't a CP this time .

@TrashKitten10 he is a good egg. Just a scruffy one 😂 I am defo the cleaner because I can't stand it being untidy and he loves making it untidy 😂. He's not a bad cook, he just makes me keep away when he's cooking or I try and 'help' but i hate watching him make hard work of easy things 😂 haha yeah order him a cook book!

Tiredness has hit me like a ton of bricks again these last two days! I could just stay in bed all day if possible and sleep. Also feeling quite a bit of pressure in my lower area of my pelvis but I am also a bit constipated (sorry tmi 😬) so wondering if it's mainly to do with that, see how today goes! Hope you all have a lovely day girls. We are one day closer to our scans 🙂
