So sorry to hear the news @MamaGeordie Something similar happened to me back in October, as you can see it didn't take long to be expecting again.

I'm so sorry @MamaGeordie Flowers Flowers

HJWT · 06/03/2019 15:19

Just balled my eyes out at OBEM 😭

MrsPMT23 · 06/03/2019 15:29

I ended up going to my exercise class as normal last night and all was fine. Just made the instructor aware before and took it at my own pace. I'd like to try and keep up the exercise in this pregnancy as I didn't do as much in the last and I'd like to do anything to keep my labour less than the 54 hours last time! Blush

The insomnia has started! Up at 4.45 this morning staring at the ceiling and couldn't get back to sleep. Ended up walking the dog in the rain at 6am Hmm

Hope you're all well today!

Smiffette · 06/03/2019 15:41

@MrsPMT23 good to hear someone else trying to keep up with exercise... I tend to go a couple of mornings in the week, really early and so there isn't an instructor there. I've been trying to read lots online to know whats safe for me to do and where I can make adjustments. I'm only 5 + 2 so too early to be wanting to tell the girls I go to the gym with.

Knickersononeshead · 06/03/2019 15:52

I'm stressing about being so big already 😳 dp keeps winding me up saying its twins.
I am on the larger side anyway but my stomach is huge at the moment

Miller2 · 06/03/2019 16:12

@knickersononeshead it's probably just bloating. I've looked 7 months pregnant every afternoon by 2pm. Interestingly I don't bloat as much at the weekend. I think it must be because I do a desk job so I'm just sat on my arse all day long in the week. At the weekend I'm never still. I'm finding walking in the evening helps a bit.

MrsPMT23 · 06/03/2019 16:31

@Smiffette I tend to do a little bit at home too so have just researched online what is safe to do.

@Knickersononeshead I agree with @Miller2 - it's probably just bloating! I'm also quite bloated and gassy at the moment.

Ugh, it's been a long day. Looking forward to chilling out on the sofa tonight.

Hi Everyone Smile

Hoping I can join this lovely thread after getting my BFP this morning (actually two BFPs as I couldn't just stop at one test!)

AF isn't due until Saturday but just had a feeling this was the month so did the tests this morning fully expecting to see nothing so when the line came up instantly I was super shocked! Then I did a clear blue digital and it came back with pregnant 1-2 weeks!

This is my 2nd cycle of TTC after a MMC in December and I'm 40 and this would be my first baby so am super happy as we had an IVF appointment booked next week!

Due date will be November 16th I think Smile

Good luck to everyone and really happy to have found this forum as reading others worries and symptoms is very reassuring knowing we are all feeling the same!

Smiffette · 06/03/2019 16:36

@MrsPMT23 yes that's a good idea, I might try and pull together some exercises I can do at home... I really want to keep my abs strong (any pointers welcomed Smile ), my friend said after her 3rd child her stomach bounced back a lot quicker and she put that down to having been doing a boot camp before he was born, and before she was heavily pregnant.

Smiffette · 06/03/2019 16:38

@mlphw congratulations!

QforCucumber · 06/03/2019 16:52

Another who feels 3 sizes bigger than normal with the trapped wind and bloating. So painful today too, forgot about this bit - last pregnancy DH found me in some odd positions trying to ease it hah.

LokiCat · 06/03/2019 17:44

@QforCucumber I feel exactly like that right now!! Felt horrible at work all day 😩 glad it's normal at least!

@mlphw welcome and congratulations!! Sorry for your previous mmc 💕

So I ended up buying a clear blue digital as I'm becoming obsessive. It came back with Pregnant 1-2 weeks (which makes sense as I'm 4+4 and think I conceived about 2 weeks ago). The second test in the pack came up with a dark plus line straight away, so I'm happy and content for now!

Going to try not to waste anymore money 🙈🙈

amehh · 06/03/2019 18:25

@MamaGeordie really sorry to hear your news, please take care of yourself Flowers

Welcome to all the new people!

I'm still running (or attempting to!) But it's very frustrating - gone from being able to run 8-10 miles regularly to finding 2 miles a struggle. I'm going to settle for 3-4 miles (including walk breaks if needed) and hopefully build a little bit back up when I'm not so exhausted.

Smiffette · 06/03/2019 18:35

@amehh I love running and will be sad when I get too big too keep doing it. I've seen people using support bands but not sure how much that helps?!
how far gone are you?

Jjohno · 06/03/2019 18:42

I am a bit freaked out about the no symptom thing... I’ve been getting cramps and I do feel tired - yesterday the dog walk exhausted me and I slept for 10 hours! But my boobs have only been sensistive, not painful. It’s just the worst having to wait these weeks isn’t it?! I feel so worried about it!

Jjohno · 06/03/2019 18:42

@mamageordie I’m so sorry to hear, stay strong xx

ally62442 · 06/03/2019 18:46

Sorry to hear that @MamaGeordie

@LokiCat I brought the two pack of digital clear blues. Did one last night not long after I'd already been the toilet so my pee wasn't very concentrated and it said 1-2 weeks. Then I did the other this morning with fmu after telling myself to give it a few days and that said 2-3. Like you I'm gonna stop spending money on tests now! 🙈

I've got my early scan on the 25th of March. I'll be 7 weeks.

LokiCat · 06/03/2019 19:05

@ally62442 how strange! Didn't realise it could make such a difference. I wish I had waited till the morning to do the digital test with fmu but I'm too impatient 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ahh lovely, we land back from holiday on the 25th so will do ours on the 31st (I was trying to convince DH to go straight from the airport but he wasn't having it 😂). I'll be 8+1. Will probably let my manager know if everything goes well at the early scan. Easier that way if I need to take time off for appointments/feeling crappy.

TrashKitten10 · 06/03/2019 19:07

I'm with you ladies on the bloating! Today at work we were talking about a colleague who was pregnant and I said they had 3 months to go. A bloke misheard this whole conversation and said to me "well you're looking really good considering!' Fabulous, at 4+4 I am actually being mistaken for being six months pregnant 😂

LokiCat · 06/03/2019 19:07

@Jjohno I agree.. I hate being in the unknown, hence all the pregnancy tests. So stressful that we have to wait so long to see if everything's okay 🙈
We all seem to be having a mix of similar symptoms though! My boobs only seem sore in the morning and then are completely fine rest of the day..
