Hello! I couldn't find a thread, so I'm starting one. I'm due on the 5th. My DPs 40th birthday!

I had loads of cramping at the start but I don't now. My boobs are less sore too. I've got nausea though, if I'm not constantly eating, I feel sick. I think the symptoms change as your hormones change.

Bluebell9 · 05/03/2019 07:00

And I slept from 10pm right thorough to 5.40am!

Prequelle · 05/03/2019 07:04

The only symptoms I've got so far is hard and painful boobs, very gassy, and cramping. My sleeping pattern is all over the show too.

Needadoughnut · 05/03/2019 07:09

I actually have no symptoms! Yes I'm a bit bloated but that's about it. Boobs are you the same with no tenderness. A bit of cramping yesterday. If anything I'm concerned I have no symptoms at 5+2

I'm very tired and bloated (and mildly constipated), I have really sensitive nipples (almost sore but not quite) and I had some cramps again yesterday but otherwise not really any symptoms over here. Oh and I'm less hungry than usual too!

LokiCat · 05/03/2019 07:23

Still no major symptoms as of yet.. slightly sore boobs, tired and I've had horrible diarrhoea since Sunday morning (sorry TMI 🙈), but nothing that's convincing me that I'm pregnant.
I've got a scan today to check for PCOS which I had booked before I found out I was pregnant, however they've said I can still go in.

Will ask the sonographer if they can see anything but I imagine it might be too early at 4+3 🙊

Miller2 · 05/03/2019 07:33

OK so nothing unusual then since some other people's symptoms are changing too similar to my changes. Thanks folks. It's very stressful this early pregnancy lark!

thumper59 · 05/03/2019 07:37

Morning ladies. My symptoms seem to have gone a little too- my boobs are still sore but not as much and I'm not bloated or feeling sick this morning at all! Not had any spotting etc everything else is just the same. I'm 5+1. A quick google showed quite a lot of people had a decline in symptoms at this time and that they came and went through the first trimester anyway so hopefully it's just normal

Waitingformyrainbow · 05/03/2019 07:50

@Prequelle I'm unable to self prefer either, have to see the GP next week when I'm 6weeks, she will arrange the scans and then I'll see the midwife and get bloods taken shortly after.

I don't have many symptoms, sore breasts (but I'm taking Progesterone so maybe that) I've been a little dizzy and had some insomnia but last night I slept through!

Waitingformyrainbow · 05/03/2019 07:51

Oh my goodness! I mean self refer haha

LG0914 · 05/03/2019 07:56

@LokiCat yeah I was finding it hard so our parents also know too. Kind of a relief to not have to hide it from them now!!

tigsyboo · 05/03/2019 07:57

Hi
Just popping my head up again!
Feeling reassured with the positive vibes from those who are in the same boat as me and had a miscarriage recently. Thank you so much for sharing.
I'm 5+5 today, had 1 day where I was weeing like crazy but that seems to have settled. Feel slightly nauseous in a morning but it passes after a cup of tea. Got slightly sore boobs, but nothing major at the mo.
I suffer with anxiety and GP is saying she will refer me to EPU for scan once I get to past 6 weeks just to help reassure me owing to what happened last time.

For those of you talking about harmony testing, have you seen Paloma tests? £100 cheaper, 9 weeks plus and tests for more things with better results from what I can see?? Xx

Kinsters · 05/03/2019 07:58

I'm tentatively marking my place but will probably hang back for a bit as I'm only 3+3 and had a miscarriage last pregnancy so I'm really worried that the same will happen again! I almost don't want to post this in case I tempt fate!

I'm 28, TTC #1 with 1 MMC at 8+4 in December. Due date is 15 November!

I've got no symptoms except usual luteal phase ones which for me are nausea, tender breasts and insomnia. Insomnia is the only one that's worse than usual and in fact my nausea this month was much less than the month before.

LG0914 · 05/03/2019 07:59

And symptom wise it's been fairly constant so far- tired, feeling sick, lower back pain and heightened sense of smell. Nothing in the boob department; actually looking forward to them possibly getting bigger as they are on the small side so that will be new. Not looking forward to the sickness if I get it bad!

tigsyboo · 05/03/2019 08:39

Hey @Kinsters 😊
Fancy seeing you here! Xx

MrsPMT23 · 05/03/2019 08:42

Welcome @Kinsters sending lots of positivity your way.

Symptom wise I feel super tired despite sleeping pretty well, my boobs are a bit sore and I feel sick on an empty stomach. Also get a bit of cramping now and then that feels like a bit of a stitch.

Is anyone else exercising as usual? I usually go to a fitness class on Tuesday evenings that includes high intensity training and just worried that it might be a bit too much.

Kinsters · 05/03/2019 09:14

Hey Tigsy! Hopefully a few more of our thread will join in here before the month is up!

People talking about announcements, just to add my depressing two cents - we waited last time. I had a scan at 7+5 due to some bleeding and everything supposedly looked normal and it definitely had a strong heart beat. After seeing that we told my in-laws then went for another scan at 8+4 to book in at the hospital I'd deliver at (I'm overseas so it's a bit different here) and the heartbeat was gone.

This time I'm just going to tell close family and a couple of friends straight away. My in-laws would know about any MC anyway as we see them so often and my parents I'd want to tell so I may as well let them all share in this happiness and excitement even if it doesn't last! Basically everyone I ended up speaking to about the MC will know about this pregnancy.

Sorry for the depressing post!

MrsPMT23 I do no exercise but was thinking of taking up swimming. I think it's supposed to be OK to continue doing what your body is used to?

jacquesjacques · 05/03/2019 09:26

I've just been to my GP as I'm really anxious about this pregnancy, given my history. I was hoping she would just pop me onto progesterone but she said she will think about it. I've had quite loose bowels this morning (sorry for the TMI) which worries me as I usually get that just before a period. Am 4 weeks today.

ChesMum2019 · 05/03/2019 09:34

Hi all I'm still lurking. Have a scan Friday at the recurrent miscarriage clinic given my history. I've had brown spotting once a day on and off for a few days so feel like I've already got a good idea the way this will go. But I can't change anything so just have to wait until Friday. Only positives are I do have very sore boobs and sickness that feels like I'm so hungry but eating does not help infact makes it worse. I will update Friday either way

BexiBoop · 05/03/2019 09:35

Hi all, first timer to Mumsnet. Pregnant for the first time (5w+6) and due on 3 Nov! Did a test on Sat am and still not really sinking in. Had a very erratic period cycle before conceiving and hadn't ovulated so wasn't optimistic about conceiving in Feb but here we are!

Very sore breasts and on/off nausea, plus dizziness/slight shaking and constant cramps that feel like period pain! It's all a very new experience. I'm 33 and got married back in September.

Very interesting reading all of your experiences - and congrats to everyone else due in Nov! Fingers crossed for safe and healthy pregnancies for us all! Grin

BexiBoop · 05/03/2019 09:41

@MrsPMT23 I'm worrying about too much exercising too.. just not sure how intense is too intense? I normally do about 4 or 5 Les Mills classes a week but they are pretty high intensity. Giving it a miss today as feeling particularly fragile.

Also booked a last min ski holiday before I knew I was pregnant and off on the 16th so worried I'll be knackered and feeling rough at 6wks, not to mention the fear of other maniacs on the slopes colliding with me. I'm pretty advanced and don't tend to fall so it's more the fear of others who don't know what they're doing that worries me and I'll definitely be taking it easy. Confused

Prequelle · 05/03/2019 09:42

(5w+6) and due on 3 Nov

I'm due on the 3rd but I'm 5 + 2.

LokiCat · 05/03/2019 09:50

Welcome and congrats to everyone new!

Just had an appointment with the GP which was a bit pointless as it was literally so they could put down that I'm pregnant + due date on their symptoms, and then he told me I can self refer and the midwives will handle everything 🤦🏻‍♀️
I could have done that on the phone!!

Exercisewise I usually do high cardio + weights, so not sure what is safe to continue with.. I was debating doing Pilates/yoga instead 🤔

Miller2 · 05/03/2019 09:55

@chesmum2019 have everything crossed for you 🤞

QforCucumber · 05/03/2019 09:57

Can I join in? Got BFP yesterday, puts me at 5+1, we got married 2 weeks ago and I have drank a lot in the last 2/3 weeks so now am having a panic :(
