33 weeks pregnant and bored!

Just that Really,33 weeks with my 2nd child and bored outta my head, have no proper friends or family were I live, so completely alone! Anyone up for doing the last 7 weeks +together -.-

I was due today!! With DC2 but it's almost midnight so officially overdue now. Had a very thorough sweep yesterday but no cramps yet although very tender since it and bled last night.

Congratulations on your new baby girl love her hair @Kelseymumof2 your bump looked similar to mine all out to the front wonder if I'm having a girl this time!

@kelseymumof2 Congratulations!!! She is absolutely perfect and a beautiful name too, seeing pics of beautiful babies is making me so impatient now I just want to give birth too!

@fatbrows Is this your first? I had my first at 37 weeks which is where I'm at now so for me I feel like I'm overdue even though I'm not at all 😂

Welcome @Angelmiracle I'm so amazed at the amount of people who go over their due date, I naively used to think it was quite rare (no one in my family has ever gone over etc) until joining mumsnet and reading all these stories 😂 hopefully the sweep does something for you. I take it you already have a son? X

@Ccec Yeah I have a sin thought I told ya that 🤣pregnancy brain ay!,and nothing planned that I know of it's a difficult day in our house as my partners mum passed so we try not to make a big fuss over mothers day and fathers day (I lost my dad), il prob get a lay in and breakfast in bed an movie day,what you got planned xx

@lucy2204 no not 2 weeks over 😫 that would really be tough going! I'm 40+1 today so not completely fed up yet!! Registrar booked induction for 8th April really hope I'm away before it as baby estimated 8lb5 on Thurs past!!

@Ccec yes I have DS but haven't found out what this one is! I had him at 41 weeks with contractions starting 40+6. It was a long labour. I really thought this one would arrive early- it was just a feeling I had but I was clearly wrong.

Lots of the ladies on the March antenatal thread had they're babies before due date. Only a handful of us have gone over so strange.

The effects of the sweep are just discomfort and tenderness now I'm assuming it hasn't worked. I have no more appointments until spontaneous labour or induction.

@lucy2204 Don't worry we can all get away with the pregnancy brain 😂 ah I fully understand, I lost my dad a few years ago and my nan a while back so you don't feel like celebrating things as much as you used to. My mum always gets me a little something from my son, I got flowers and some hair products today 😁 hope you are enjoying the day as much as you can? Any twinges yet? You will nearly be officially overdue after today lol.

@Angelmiracle I think feelings/intuition go completely out of the window when it comes to babies 😂 I initially thought I'd be early again as I was before but now nearing 38 weeks on weds I think I'm going to be wrong. They only come when they are ready! Do you have any feelings as to what you might be having? I was far too impatient, plus my mum really wanted to know as she's got 3 grandsons and was hoping for a granddaughter (and she's finally got her wish) although she would have been happy either way of course.

Ccec - still no baby for me! :( 2 days over now I went 6 days over with my little boy so I'm not that surprised,🤣just gna let her come naturally🤗how about You? Any signs or anything??

Still nothing for me either woke up in the middle of last night with a strange backache type feeling but rolled over and went back off to sleep soon enough so it obviously didn't mean anything lol. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and want to get through my last day of work Thursday so after that I shall relax and start wishing for things to start! Lucy- are you still planning on declining the sweep, tomorrow wasn't it?

@Ccec - ohh anymore signs at this rate you'll prob have your baby girl before me 🤣🤣🤣and yes declined so they cancelled the appointment 😑🤣 had a lot of pain this morning but seems to have stopped now, it's my son's birthday tomorrow an I'm convinced she's coming then-.- gna have to keep my legs tide shut so she can't come out 🤣🤣🤣🤣hope your feeling good tho!xx

Kelsey- She is just so perfect! I'm really hoping for a nice chilled out baby like my first so keep your fingers crossed for me! Lol.

Lucy- No more signs since so i think it was just my body playing games! I'm at work for the last day (leaving at 2.30) so im just counting down the hours to my freedom. I might start trying the hot curries and pineapple etc as a mild attempt to get things started. But generally i'm just going to be chilled out and wait for things to happen. I hope your son has a lovely birthday, have you got a party planned? Here's hoping baby stays put for you at least until the day is over

@Ccec - small family gathering, looking to do something bigger when baby arrives, he seems to be enjoying himself with his toys he will have a heart attack when his granddad comes around with his presents 🤣I thought she was coming last night 🤣🤣🤣had on/off very painful contractions all night but woke up this morning with nothing, and finally you get to put your feet up!, enjoy it🤗I've tried everything to bring her nothing seems to have worked hopefully you have more luck xx

Have just had a call from the midwifes if baby isn't here by Monday I have to go in by 2pm to pick my induction date👐👐👐👐 cannot wait! 💃💃

Oh bless him, it's so nice when they are younger and appreciate the toys you buy for them, then they get to 11 and it's all iPhones and consoles 🙄😂 at least you managed to avoid giving birth on the day haha.

I've started getting those questions from everybody about is she here yet and that i look ready to pop, people seem to think you can give birth on command 😂. I'm so glad it's the school holidays now, I'm praying she's here before they are over so we can have a couple weeks/ or even just a few days at home without having to get back into the school routine xx

Still no sign of your babies then? At least you know she’ll be here soon lucy2204, maybe you’ll end up delivering just before you’re due to get induced like me 😂 Ccec that’s what happened to me, literally every day I had a family member or friend messaging me asking if I was in labour yet. Then when I actually was in labour they couldn’t believe it!

Ccec - just gna choose the first date they offer,I don't wna wait much longer I'm so uncomfortable now :( I'm having an Indian tonight, and pine apple for after wards then gna walk the dog, my friend suggested doing the 'baby mumma dance)helped her when she was trying to start labour, tempted to give it a try just not sure il be able to do it fully I get out of breath well to quickly now days phah!, any signs for You?hope your finally putting your feet up an enjoying your maternity leave!🤗🤗🤗xxx
