Ooh things might be starting to happen then, how are things today? That's good that your all sorted :) think i should pack mine soon lol, my mum is forcing me to have a baby shower next weekend so i do want to wait until then really incase people buy me things that i still need to get, but part of me wants to be prepared as i wasnt organised the last time and ended up throwing some things together in a bag after my waters had broken lol. She might just be teasing you though, plenty of people think they are in labour one minute only for it to all stop the next minute!
It really has and i must admit the one thing i am looking forward to is having my body back and eating healthy again to shift some weight, despite my good intentions i have definately overindulged more than i should have! x

lucy2204 · 06/03/2019 09:56

🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️she's defo teasing me!,had painful bh all yesterday an a few last night but now I've woken up it's like it never happened 🤣😂she just can't make up her mind!, ooo that should be nice!,I have had a baby shower with either of mine tbh I don't see anyone enough to get one I guess phaha!, But my in-laws goo over board when they see us and have said they have loads of bits for the children and me so guessing il get the stuff I need then, if I was you I'd still pack and use it as a back up until you've had your baby shower just in case and as soon as your home with everything you've been brought repack!,😍I've gone over my bag 1trillion times as I done the same last time and ended up forgetting stuff -.- I've hardly gained a thing, I was kinda plump before so guess she's just using what's there 🤷‍♀️🤣but I shall also be on a serious diet once she's here as was dieting before I got pregnant 🤣xx

Haha that sounds about right, I'm hoping I don't get teased when the time is near, just want to go into labour and get it done with 😂 that was my thinking as I don't have many friends and the one I do are spread out and I dont normally see them all at once so I think my guests are all my mum's friends with perhaps a couple of mine lol. I might just do that, with the weather set to be crap all weekend ill have plenty of time on my hands 😁
I was too, I hadn't long rejoined slimming world when I found out I was pregnant, perfect excuse to quit after all? 😂
Have you started to waddle when you walk? I keep asking my family to watch me walk from behind and tell me if I am but I don't know it they are being polite by saying no 😂 x

lucy2204 · 07/03/2019 21:21

My waddle is terrible 🤣🤣only had it the past week,my son finds it funny he copies mummies walk -.- even holds his back and rubs his belly -.- He's a funny little boy 🤣🤣hoping she will be here over the weekend tbh, haven't been getting a lot of sleep at all had around 10 hours sleep in the past 2 days :( feel sick constantly and have horrible pelvic pain,& a horrible chesty cough an sore throat have a scan &check up Monday so hoping they say she's engaged fully an I'm dilated / dilating 🤞what's your due date? ( don't have to tell me) how's your boy feeling now? Is He over the sickness bug he had xx

OP posts:
Ccec · 10/03/2019 16:34

That's so funny 😂😂 I'm starting to feel more like a beached whale these past couple days can definately tell my belly has grown enough to be getting in the way now! How's things going for you, any signs yet? 😁 My due date is the 17th April but I finish work the 3rd April and I'm hoping things start soon after that, it would be nice to have her over the Easter hols so my son can be off school and spend time together etc. What's the betting it doesn't work out that way? 😂 He's much better thanks, was back to school Thursday and luckily looks like whatever he had I haven't caught! Xx

lucy2204 · 11/03/2019 18:31

Had a scan today as trainee wanted practice 🤷‍♀️was ment to have one anyway but was cancelled, just losing lots of discharge now, baby is head down engaged the midwife said today with everything I've mentioned I've been having she's surprised she has come already 🤷‍♀️hoping she comes soon don't wna go over again -.- oh not long now then it'll fly by, and glad your sons better everyone in my house is better bar me 🤣have a chesty cough :( ,that'll be nice for him, you prob won't get a look in tho!, I'm sure my partner is gna try take over until it comes to the dirty nappies and sleepless nights 🤣🤣🤣he'll get all the fun bits,I'm super nervous for Labour now 🙈🙈I've decided on a home birth but do have a lift to hospital if needed, how you feeling about labour now it's getting nearer xx

OP posts:
Ccec · 12/03/2019 13:46

A perfect excuse to see baby again though :)
It doesnt sound as though you will go over to me, but then i am no expert, im sure she will come when she is good and ready lol.
That's good that you've got the home birth you wanted, do you still have access to all pain relief when you are having a home birth though? I'm getting more nervous as the weeks get closer, ive not thought about it much as it seemed so far away but now its only weeks away im terrified! Mostly i just want to avoid another tear, the idea of the pain doesnt bother me so much, but hopefully this time ill have opportunity for pain relief if i want it as before i was too late for anything but gas and air. My son only weighed 6p 10 and gave me a third degree tear so i dread to think what a bigger baby might do.
When is your actual due date? I know you've said but ive forgotten xx

lucy2204 · 12/03/2019 15:40

Ccec - will only get pain relief if on call midwife etc get there in time as last time was so fast 🙈 are you settled on a hospital birth?hoping I can still donate the blood cord etc "/ and my due date is mothers day 💃💃I'd love to have her then, but that's like 2 weeks 5 days away so a lot to ask for her to stay there 🤣especially as I've already lost a chunk of my bloody show 🤷‍♀️I'm happy for her to come when she's ready tho 🤷‍♀️just don't want her to go over and come on my son's birthday 🙈xx

OP posts:
Ccec · 14/03/2019 11:04

Well they say the second is usually faster so you might not get time at all lol. Yeah im fine with a hospital birth, i only live about 20 -25 mins from the hospital (ill be telling my mum to put her foot down) so its not like it's a massively long journey although when you are having contractions half hour can feel like a lifetime!
Aww that would be lovely if she came mothers day, im sure she has other ideas about when she wants to arrive though :)
I'm keeping my legs crossed on the 28th this month cause even though it would be early, 28 is my lucky number and both me and my son were born on the 28th of different months, it would be quite funny if it happened again.
It might be handy in a few years time having birthdays close together though, for joint parties? etc.
Is she still staying put?
I had a midwife appointment yesterday and thought i would be at the stage of checking position etc but she said she'll do that next time, which ill be 37 weeks by then. I think she's head down but it is reassuring to know isnt it?

lucy2204 · 16/03/2019 10:10

Ccec- that would be great tho!at least no one would be able to forget the date of her birthday!, if she goes over me my son and daughter (her) would share the same birthday month 🤣and that's not to bad then, hospitals pretty near for you, 🤗and that's soo true I have no idea how I'm going to cope if I have a long labour 🤣🙈🤣and had lots of discharge yesterday morning (sorry tmi) and been on the toilet all night -.- hoping it means she will be here soon-.- feel sick constantly,I had midwifes at 36 weeks and they checked then,🤷‍♀️an yes defo better to no, I have another midwife appointment on Wednesday coming for them to check,my neighbour thinks they offer a sweep but didn't think they offered that till your over due ? 🤔

OP posts:
Mummab3ar · 16/03/2019 13:13

If your cervix is favourable they can give a sweep early. I had a swerlep at 39 weeks with my first - went into labour that night, and 38 weeks with my second - went into labour two days later 🤗!

Mummab3ar · 16/03/2019 13:14

Sweep** not swerlep 😂

lucy2204 · 16/03/2019 17:57

Mummab3ar -hopefully I get one!, I'm so uncomfortable right now :( don't remember feeling like this with my first :(

OP posts:
Mummab3ar · 16/03/2019 21:48

I hope they give you one too! It's horrible waiting about when you're uncomfortable!

Ccec · 18/03/2019 09:46

That would be one expensive month for you and your family lol! You won't get a look in anymore, with 2 children's birthdays too your birthday will be well and truly forgotten haha.
I think its because my appointments are dated strangely, i saw her at 35 weeks rather than 34 and this next appointment is written down as 36 week appointment but i will be 37 weeks. Even im struggling to keep up with what week im on. Do you get on well with your midwife? If you ask her very very nicely she might give you a sweep :)
Have you started on some of the other things you can do to help bring on labour? I'm thinking of eating a jar of jalepenos closer to my due date Grin
My son has also now come down with a horrific cold so im trying to be supportive and cuddle up to him cause he really isnt feeling well but at the same time im trying to keep him at arms length so he doesnt breathe my way lol x

lucy2204 · 20/03/2019 15:11

Ccec - sorry for the late reply!,
My birthday gets forgotten anyway!, 🙈I haven't really celebrated it since becoming a mum, 🤣and I barely see my midwife tbh she's never In,was ment to see her today but she's rescheduled for a home visit as wqlking has become a night mare hoping it means a sweep!! jalepenos are my favourite so not sure if they would work,🤔I've eaten them throughout the pregnancy I have order 2 pine apples with shopping can have them once she's been on Saturday if baby isn't here by then!,😍
Hopefully he doesn't have the cold/virus I had mine's taken 2+ weeks to get rid off :( hopefully they will be able to tell you babies position next time!, does it feel like she's moved down or not noticed anything?,my bubba has moved down a stupid amount it feels like she could just fall out 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈been watching some one born every minute to try an prepare me for labour again even tho im sure il forget everything while it happens 🤣xx

34 weeks and relate so much 😩 I have finished work now and feel like I have nothing to do. I’ve just been nesting on purpose to occupy myself 😂 it doesn’t help that I have polyhydraminos (too much amniotic fluid which means my bump is measuring 42 weeks) and am super uncomfortable and get out of breath a lot so it’s actually quite hard to entertain myself!

Ccec · 22/03/2019 12:10

All celebrations go out the window when your a mum, gone are the days you want to be at the pub on nye, I'm normally snoring in bed by 12 😂 have you seen her yet, managed to get your sweep?
I've been eating them throughout too so don't hold out much hope for them working if I tried to kick-start labour myself. I don't feel as if she's low at all, I still have what I presume to be feet right up in my ribs and no feeling of pressure down below, I feel like I'm going to carry to full term with this one 😁
Do u like watching that? 😱 Even before being pregnant this time I can't watch it, scares me to death watching them in pain thinking that'll be me soon lol.
@MayaLH That is an impressive sized bump, no wonder you must be feeling uncomfortable, definately make the most of being to relax, I know after a while it gets boring and you feel like you should be doing something but it may be a while again before u get to relax after baby is born ☺ x

lucy2204 · 22/03/2019 12:45

MayaLH -your name is sooo close to what we're calling our daughter! Your bump is hugeeee!, I think it may even be bigger than mine and I'm 38 weeks 5days 😑😐is it first bubba? Bet u can't wait to be back to normal surely your bump can't get any bigger? "/

Ccec-i see her in the morning praying I get it then!, our son has started not sleeping so he's been waking up at 5am every morning I'm exhausted, hes never been a bad sleeper 😐 he keeps cuddling my belly so maybe he knows she's near "/ our dog has gone funny to he follows me everywhere, it cute, 🤗just wish to sleep trying to do power naps, our baby is pretty long I can feel her feet still but she's head down engaged 😑I love it I like to be prepared "/ i refuse to have sex to bring labour on it just feels wrong if u get me? "/ hope everything is going well with your pregnancy xx

OP posts:
MayaLH · 22/03/2019 14:57

I always say it can’t get any bigger and it does 😂 and yes this is my first, it’s all quite scary as I’m going to be a young single mum, although her dad is very involved. I definitely can’t wait to look and feel like myself again, I’ve find from being quite slim to looking like I’ve swallowed a watermelon 😂 I’ve literally gained weight everywhere as well, especially on my thighs so hopefully I’ll loose that once she’s here. @lucy2204 what is you’re calling your daughter?

lucy2204 · 22/03/2019 16:10

MayaLH - I’ve find from being quite slim to looking like I’ve swallowed a watermelon this was the only thing I couldn't get over when I was pregnant with my first I gained 4 and half stone 😑was horrible if u work hard tho you will be able to get back to your old size just with a little mum tum 🤗, and we were keeping it a sercet but hoping she will be here this weekend so might as well say, 🤣ive shamlessly had name picked out for all my children since around 14 🤣🤣🤣we're calling her Mayla' 🙈😍 have you got any names picked out? Xx

OP posts:
MayaLH · 22/03/2019 17:54

Mayla is so cute, I love that name! I can’t relate though, we really struggled choosing a name and only decided really recently but she’ll be called Serenity 💕

lucy2204 · 22/03/2019 22:48

MayaLH - I really like that 😍Are u looking forward to being a new mum?😍 I was over the moon when I found out I was pregnant with my first & second tbh🤣I'd have millions if my partner would let me (not literally millions)🤣🤣xx

MayaLH · 23/03/2019 15:47

Just wanted to let you all know my little girl Serenity Rose was born by emergency c section today at 9:42 am weight 5 lb 5 oz ❤️

Kelseymumof2 · 23/03/2019 19:39

Wait until you get to 41 weeks (if you do get to 41 weeks), I was due last Friday and I’m now so miserable!! 😂 never thought I’d even reach my due date as I gave birth at 36 weeks with my first but here I am and there’s still no sign of baby coming so I’m probably going to be induced. At least I have a 2 year old to keep me company while my fiancé is at work 😂
