33 weeks pregnant and bored!

Just that Really,33 weeks with my 2nd child and bored outta my head, have no proper friends or family were I live, so completely alone! Anyone up for doing the last 7 weeks +together -.-

Kelseymumof2 - I was turned down on a sweep today! :( went 40 weeks 6 day with my first and now they saying its looking likely il go 42 weeks with my little girl :( and will have to have her through an induction, I've had a full pine apple today hoping to bring labour on but have decide if it doesn't work we will just let her come when she's ready 🤣🤣🤣i also have a 2 year old keeping me busy!, hes 3 in 2 weeks an seems to think hes a teenager already 🤣xx

Ha ha I know what you mean, I always feel like Amelie is a teenager in a 2 year old’s body 😂 and that’s literally what I said to my fiancé, that we will let this one come when they’re ready. Awh you’re having a girl?! We decided to keep the gender a surprise this time which hasn’t been easy, we nearly caved in during the 20 week scan.

Kelseymumof2 -yes a little girl for us!😍now have one of each,we was gna keep the sex of the baby a surprise but couldnt help ourselves 😍 do you have a gender you want more? Or happy with either? X

Definitely happy with either because it would be nice for our daughter to have another girl to play with but it would also be lovely to have one of each.

@MayaLH Congratulations! I hope everything is well? She was a good weight for you only being 34 weeks. Hope you aren't kept in hospital for too long. I love the name, I had Seren on my shortlist, but had to cut it as it didn't match the middle name lol.
@lucy2204 I take it the pineapple hasn't helped yet? Lol. Will the midwife not give you a sweep unless you are overdue now? Yeah I think sex would be the last thing on my mind to be honest, that's if I had someone to even do it with 😂 😂 just have to sit tight and wait for these babies to arrive. I still need to get through my last 2 weeks of work though so I need her to stay put for now 😁 xx

Ccec -no idea she just said that it will be the next appointment for defo if I haven't had baby already,she was surprised I was still pregnant 😑I just wna meet her now -.- didnt think id get this far tbh "/ still no early signs for you then? Hopefully she stays for for another week that way u can finish work, 🙏 xx

To entertain myself, even though I never believe old wives tales, was wondering what people will guess I’m having based on the shape of my bump?? I know there’s things that say you can tell by your bump such as if it’s high or low and if it’s wide etc.

Kelseymumof2 - high normally means girl but your bump is identical to my boy bump!!I was huge with my first and very high! +boys are naughty and love to stay in longer than needed! 🤣🤣🤣I'm 100% on betting your baby is a boy🙌 @Ccec what do you think?

Will be exciting to see if you’re right! Most of family are predicting boy as well which my daughter doesn’t like to hear, she’s desperate for a baby sister bless her 😂 I carried high with her as well but I think it’s just my body 🤷‍♀️

@Kelseymumof2 I agree if you go by old wives tales then my guess would be a boy! However I've done the opposite, with my son I carried all spread out and looked ginormous, whereas this time I'm expecting a girl and am carrying all at the front nice and neatly 😁
@lucy2204 I think it's getting to that point where you start to get impatient don't you? I'm only 37 weeks tomorrow but I had my son at 37 weeks so for me I feel like it's time to give birth 😂 I'm gonna have to get that idea out of my head. My dog has come into season today too, I'm sure she's trying to be as awkward as possible 😂
My work were supposed to throw me a baby shower but it's been postponed to next week so I literally have to hang on till then otherwise I won't get to enjoy it. I've got the midwife tomorrow and she'll be checking position so at least I have that to look forward too. I'm sure my ankles looked slightly puffy this evening too which I was hoping to avoid, isn't pregnancy fun 😁 x

Baby’s been so active today, getting into all sorts of weird positions 😂

Ccec - how did the midwifes go? 🤷‍♀️I went for a really long dog walk today so hoping that helps 🤔have a feeling she will go over due, (due date is mothers day) an that's nice of them 😮 wish I had a baby shower tbh would of had a reason to get me an bubba spoilt 🤔🤣🤣xx

Still no babies but I’ve been having contractions since late last night!! So if things progress, I could be in hospital delivering today 😊 I was convinced that I’d have to be induced but it looks like I won’t now thank god ❤️ @fatbrows welcome to the thread, I’m 42 weeks tomorrow.

@lucy2204 Midwife was all good, she is head down and 2/5 engaged, I'm happy now I know she's the right way round and ready at some point to make an appearance lol. I'm gonna need to borrow a dog now that I can't take mine out! It would be amazing if she came on your due date on mothers day for you ♥ when do you next see your midwife now?

Thank you guys, my water broke earlier and I’m at the hospital now. Things are moving pretty steadily so hopefully baby will be here today but if not maybe tomorrow morning!

Ccec - not long now maybe she will be a little early 😍glad everything went okay!, I'd love that!😍would be such a special gift,and see her 3rd April for a sweep but will have to turn it down as it's my son's 3rd birthday on the 4th 🙈I want to try and avoid her coming on his birthday,🤔even tho I know it can't be helped, I'm gna be trying pineapple again this weekend an a hot curry and hope it works 🙈 will make sure I keep you posted as soon as everything starts to happen and when she finally gets her bum in gear, I've had sooo many false signs,shes just in there playing🤣

39+2 today but everyone in my family always goes overdue so I'm ready to be pregnant FORVEVEERRRRR

Our gorgeous girl Mira was born last night at 11:43 pm weighing 9 pounds exactly!

thank you, yes she does have a lot of hair Amelie was born with a full head of hair as well, they got it from their dad! Most of the family were also convinced she’d be a boy so it was a huge surprise, everyone have been coming to visit in the hospital which had been lovely and my fiancé is on his way with Amelie now, she’s so excited to meet her sister bless her!
