Thank you congratulations to you too @UnicornDust17 just had a wee nosey there and it says I can fill out a form for the self referral but to also contact GP. I’m still shaking with nerves 🙈 I just cannot believe it I’m so happy at the minute x

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 09:08

@kileah18 yeah I’ve booked an early test for just under 8 weeks to make it feel more real and also so I can tell our family at Christmas. The digital definetely makes it feel more real!!! xx

Kileah18 · 30/11/2018 09:33

@sunshine1987 digital says 1-2 does that mean 3-4? I’d like an early scan too the week before Christmas would it be too early? Xx

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 09:36

@kileah18 yeah it does 😊 I got 1-2 at 4 weeks as it picks up the levels from when you ovulated. I’ve got mine the 23rd December which will make me 7+6, anything over 7 weeks is best as you get to see more and heartbeat etc plus risk goes right down after 8 weeks xx

Kileah18 · 30/11/2018 09:42

@sunshine1987 thanks so much for your help! I havnt told anyone just my husband so great to have someone to ask! I’m going to try and get a late as possible scan lol!! Over here they are £97 🙈🙈 xx

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 09:44

@kileah18 wow! Think mine was £70. I think it’s quite a lonely time this first trimester with no one else knowing, glad we’ve all got each other xx

milly2000 · 30/11/2018 09:55

I'm 4 weeks and plan to go to my GP the end of next week. Bit nervous about it. After having the molar pregnancy I've been told I would get extra care with another pregnancy. I'm a bit concerned I will get a doctor that not that bothered. And with this being 'fingers crossed' my first pregnancy I don't really no what to expect anyway.

Kileah18 · 30/11/2018 10:09

Got an early scan for Sunday 23rd December so hopefully we can see something 😁. @milly2000 I’d go and see gp & if they aren’t helpful ask to see another one x

milly2000 · 30/11/2018 11:09

Yeah your 100% right @Kileah18. Finger crossed there helpful!

SullyWifey · 30/11/2018 13:20

Welcome @Kileah18! It's so exciting isn't it? I just laid next to my digi last night smiling like a crazy lady haha.

It does feel little lonely doesn't it. Honestly feel like I'm keeping this massive secret from everyone haha! Rung my GP today and they said just pop in and fill in a form and that starts everything off!

@Ninunina I was sick again this morning but generally feeling fine after that's all come up. But still early days!

By the way if any of you were tracking BBT then calculation from the day you O gives you the best date. NHS said 6th August but my app knows when I O and how long my cycle was so calculated for 10th.

Btw anyone still temping? I am going to for first tri as apparently gives you early indicator if you might MC. God forbid!!

I keep thinking about the early scan but not sure 🤔 expensive here.

SenoraSurf · 30/11/2018 13:31

Im 5 weeks and have been in quite a bit of uncomfortable pain today 😩 cramping in my upper stomach and feeling very belchy and horrible.
Very nervous, no weird discharge though which I guess is good! Anybody else feel this?

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 13:54

@sullywifey I’m still taking my BBT but I don’t know if it’s doing my any good lol? I got a bit freaked out at it not being as high as it was previously and had to have a word with myself 🙈 x

SullyWifey · 30/11/2018 14:44

@sunshine1987 I know what you mean, mine down yesterday and made me nervous. But then this morning back up a little. I think as long as it doesn't go under your cover line is ok. Plus my app is meant to alert me if it's of any concern. So I'm going to trust in the algorithm and try not freak out haha xx

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 15:28

@sullywifey NC? Yeah that’s the app I’m using too, i’ll pull up my big girl pants and carry on xx

SullyWifey · 30/11/2018 15:33

@sunshine1987 yes NC. Ok good let's both get our big girl pants on and believe today we are pregnant with our bubbaaa so all is good!! Yayyy!!

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 18:09

@sullywifey eeeeeeek ❤️❤️❤️

SullyWifey · 30/11/2018 19:40

What vitamins is everyone taking?

Ninunina · 30/11/2018 19:50

Just folic acid for me! The multivitamin ones always made me feel sick.

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 20:04

Still on the pregnacare conception and DHA until that runs out then will switch to the pregnacare pregnancy ones probably or Asda own brand x

dragonmummy17 · 30/11/2018 20:07

@Kileah18 congratulations on your BFP! AF for me was also 31st Oct but my average cycle is 25 days so nhs calculator says 4th August. Other ones say 7th August but I think that's based on a standard 28 day cycle

@SullyWifey am also only taking folic acid as last time the multi vitamins made me feel really sick

Bakingabean · 30/11/2018 20:27

@sullywifey I'm taking pregnacare plus omega 3. But taking them with my evening meal as I feel too nauseous in the morning.

I may have let slip to a friend today.. went to visit her and her 8 week old and she asked if we were trying. I'm a terrible liar and couldn't keep the smile off my face! Haven't told DP that I let slip... feeling a bit guilty!

Crossfitgirl · 30/11/2018 21:39

Hello.... is it ok if I join?
I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 11th August :-)
I'm 13dpo today, no symptoms except I feel like I'm on my period as my tummy feels heavy and sore! I still can't believe it at all. I don't feel pregnant, but i am!
We were due to the fertility clinic at the end of next month!

I've already seen the doctor and booked a midwife appointment today, and apparently I'm 3 +5.

Glad to find a thread with others at a similar stage! (And I see a few familiar faces too) xxx

mrsof20118 · 01/12/2018 07:21

Welcome @Crossfitgirl so pleased to see you here x

SullyWifey · 01/12/2018 08:28

@Crossfitgirl welcome sweets so good your joining us!

Can I just say I have been sick for 3 days in the row now. Every day before 8am. It's so early for morning sickness!!! Why?!

Xx

Kileah18 · 01/12/2018 08:31

@SullyWife it’s so excited! I stared at the digital al day took pictures of the tests so I could look at them in work 😂 think it’s starting to sink in now 😊

Also thank you @dragonmummy17 mine was 31st October but my cycles are usually 30 days so calculator is saying 7th August but as you said I think it’s average of 28 days!

@Crossfitgirl congratulations that’s amazing you have got your bfp before the fertility clinic! I’m the same I don’t really feel anything just bad skin and feel a bit off not exactly sick just like an empty feeling in my tummy like I’m hungry even when I’ve just ate 🙈
