@Ninunina Fingers crossed it's just a little blip x

Notanotherpawpatrol · 11/12/2018 09:52

@Ninunina also.to.say I've had red blood in all 4 of my pregnancies so far, it's not normal, but it is common. Try not to panic too much, unless it's flowing, spotting can be ok xx

Kileah18 · 11/12/2018 09:58

@Ninunina keeping fingers crossed for you that all is ok! thinking of you x

Belle2008 · 11/12/2018 10:02

Hello! I’m going to tentatively join you here please. I’m 5 weeks pregnant with an EDD of 10th August or thereabouts.
I have had moderate OHSS for a couple of weeks following IVF, which means my tummy filled with pockets of fluid and I looked 5 months pregnant at 4 weeks! I’ve basically just had to tell everyone the truth and that we’ve got our fingers crossed.
My swollen tummy is starting to go down now and I have very few other symptoms yet.
I have an early scan booked at my clinic next Friday 21st, I’m both nervous and excited.

@cautiousoptimist Congratulations, that's wonderful news and I hope it's all plain sailing for you. I'm also 5 weeks, due around 9th August. I've got a scan next Friday too (this was a surprise pg with the coil in!!) I can't wait to just see what's going on now.

@ninunina Hope everything is ok x

mrsof20118 · 11/12/2018 12:19

Hope all is ok @Ninunina

MrsRyan15 · 11/12/2018 12:24

Sending you positive thoughts @Ninunina I had red blood which really freaked me out, so went to the go and was referred for an early scan, but all was ok. Fingers crossed it's the same for you. xx

@LouiseD2018 I've been thinking of you this morning. How did your scan go this morning? xx

Ninunina · 11/12/2018 13:06

Thanks ladies, hopefully it nothing, but I can't help but think the worst. I've had no bleeding or spotting since that tiny amount of red this morning. I'm seeing my doctor on Thursday at 4, so going to have to be a bit patient until then.

LouiseD2018 · 11/12/2018 13:30

Not brilliant, nothing was seen, it was deemed too early or early misscarriage whilst there I started to spot since I got home its getting heavier, same style as last cp I know it's all over. They sent me for bloods to be sure.
I suppose relief that it is another cp and not another ectopic. Both are horrific emotionally, but the idea of losing my remaining tube ruling out any more children forever terrified me. I'm trying to think positive in that it could have been worse. The last time I was in that same room I was rushed down to surgery in minutes, I prayed most of all to avoid that, and I guess I have.

Ninunina · 11/12/2018 13:42

Oh @LouiseD2018 ! I'm so sorry to hear. A CP is certainly the better of two shitty outcomes, but still very upsetting. Sending you a huge hug.
My scan is tomorrow at 4 now. I might be in the same boat.

abw94 · 11/12/2018 13:42

@LouiseD2018 thinking of you x

LouiseD2018 · 11/12/2018 13:51

I hope it is different for you @Ninunina I'll be thinking of you

KMic · 11/12/2018 13:56

O goodness, such sad news for some of you there. Just remember that what is meant to be will be. Try not to stress or worry and look after yourselves first!!

I am a tad happier this afternoon, re-booked in with a new GP and a new medical practice closer to home and have my first apt on Monday morning! I'll be 6 weeks by then. Does anyone know what happens at the first GP apt? I assume they will just direct me to a midwife and book me in for the 12 week scan!?

No symptoms today (other than the continued hunger!!) it's a strange feeling when you miss the nausea!!! I kind of feel like it's a good sign that all is still ok so don't like that I haven't had anything today. I'm sure all is fine though, my body is just slowly getting used to the changes.

canonlyhopexo · 11/12/2018 14:02

Hi everyone can I join in with this one?

Found out on Friday with 2 ovulation sticks followed by 3 pregnancy tests then a CB digital. I'm 5 weeks today. Digital said 3+ on Friday so I was 4+3.

Sore boobs that seems to be coming and going. Nauseous but coming and going. Seem to get tired in the middle of the day then after a lay down after work feel a bit more with it but started feeling a bit off colour again last night not long after dinner. I've had cramps off and on but nothing bad not really painful and no bleeding and some milky cm.

Does this all sound positive?? I'm terrified of things going wrong as this baby is very much wanted and after a diagnosis of endo in Sept truly terrified something isn't going to be right

QueenofFox · 11/12/2018 14:14

I've had cramps too (third baby) which I think is normal. I am wishing the time to go last though.

I'm so sorry to read of sad and worrying news. My heart goes out to you.

@KMic usually the gp refers you to the midwife team who you have to see for a "booking in" appt where they go through medical history etc with a first child before you get a scan date. Second child this is much later but I think first is about 8 weeks, they ask you to choose your hospital/home birth if you have more than one and then get you into that system.(think only a handful have dedicated home birth teams but that is an option for us) and give you your notes which you're then supposed to carry round with you. They usually book the 12 wk scan as part of the appt but they may just send you a letter and then book the next midwife appt which is about 18 weeks.

KMic · 11/12/2018 14:21

Thanks @QueenofFox - very helpful! I have loads of friends who have been through it, but we're just not ready to tell anyone yet. Quite enjoying it being our little secret!! Such a brand new experience for me, just enjoying every moment!

abw94 · 11/12/2018 14:47

Can anyone recommend how to deal with the sickness? Constantly feeling sick and the saliva in my mouth

ScotsBaby2 · 11/12/2018 15:12

Hello all

I’ve been testing all week with my period due yesterday. Finally got my BFP today. Looked back at the ones I binned in anger and one of them was positive too. It definitely wasn’t positive when I looked. We would be due 19th August.

This will be number 2 for us. We have DD aged 11 months. How is everyone?

KMic · 11/12/2018 15:23

Congrats @ScotsBaby2 ... all good my end - symptoms come and go! Just trying to enjoy it! You'll gave 2 under 2 then! Wowzer! First one for me!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 11/12/2018 15:32

@queenoffox for first or second the booking in should be done around 8 weeks so they can get you booked in for the scan. It's later on the appointments become different :)
