Tiredness hit me all of a sudden today and I had to have an afternoon nap! Boobs really tingly too... its reassuring to finally be feeling symptoms. I actually feel pregnant today for the first time

QueenofFox · 09/12/2018 20:35

@PinkLady89x I'm sorry to read that. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm in maternity bras now as boobs so full. Struggling to do my jeans up. I'm definitely going to be showing earlier than 12 wks. Starting to feel anxious today have very weird pains that are hard to describe. Like twisting or burrowing. Really hope all is ok.

mrsof20118 · 09/12/2018 20:48

@QueenofFox do you have to find out the sex with the harmony test? We are having that done but really wanted to keep it a surprise if a boy or girl.

CalmerComber · 09/12/2018 20:54

@Ninunina the Next2me was my number one purchase with DD. She was in it until 8 months when she started sleeping through and went into her own room. Was so nice having her right there but knowing she was on a safe sleeping surface. I bought mine from Boots in the end - waited for a quadruple points event.

I’m thinking about whether or not I’ll need a double buggy. DD will be 2y4m. Probably yes for longer walks? Our fave park is 25 mins walk. New baby could go in sling though?

Also wondering what to do with DD’s nursery. She currently does 4 days 0800-1800 and I work 0.9FTE on those days. I would like some time just with new baby and can prob afford to keep her in nursery 1.5-2 days but then I feel mean that she would be at nursery while I’m at home.

@milly2000 I've got some neals yard mother's balm ready to use for the stretch marks reviews on it are really good.

@PinkLady89x I'm so sorry to hear that. It doesn't help I'm sure but it's a positive thing you said you catch easily. Fingers crossed for you and hoping you get a sticky one soon xx

Lazysundays18 · 09/12/2018 20:55

I'm just 5 weeks and today nausea hit! Anyone else feeling it so early? My due date is 11th August.

mrsof20118 · 09/12/2018 20:57

Anyone else gone off hot food?! I can stomach potatoes or a panini/toast or cheese but even the thought of anything else is just making me feel ill x

milly2000 · 09/12/2018 21:02

@mrsof20118 thanks I'll check that out

I'm having a bit of a bad evening for overthinking. I woke up with lower back pain. It's wasn't unbearable but uncomfortable. Feels a bit better now. My boobs just don't feel sensitive anymore ether. I felt exhausted the last few days but don't feel as bad today at all. Just worried it's a bad sign.

mrsof20118 · 09/12/2018 21:04

I think it's completely normal for symptoms to come and go so I wouldn't worry about it too much. @milly2000

Brownzy · 09/12/2018 21:18

Calmercomber my son will be the same age and am wondering the same thing. I dread getting a double buggy so am looking to find one with a bugly board maybe?

I might keep him in nursery 2 days to give me some time with baby

Ninunina · 09/12/2018 21:22

I had a 2 year 5 month gap between my two @CalmerComber. I ended up ordering a phil&teds double shortly after DD2 was born. I felt too restricted without it. I would wait until baby arrives and see from there. A lot of 2 year olds don't use their pushchairs, but there are some that stay in them for a long time.

KMic · 09/12/2018 21:29

@Lazysundays18 ... been feeling tired for a couple of weeks! Wasn't sure why until I found out I was pregnant yesterday! Been feeling a bit of nausea here and there too - but no sickness ... YET! Zero difference in boobs yet. Did get a couple of cramps last week and assumed I was coming on my period ... turns out that must have been the implantation cramps. Zero spotting yet either ... I'm due August 12th so very similar to you! It's my first!

KMic · 09/12/2018 21:30

@mrsof20118 ... not gone off hot food ... but really not fancying tea of coffee!

CalmerComber · 09/12/2018 21:31

Maybe I will allow myself just a leeeeetle browse of the double buggies.

KMic · 09/12/2018 21:32

@Cardi86 ... I started dieting a couple of weeks ago because I was feeling so bloated! I didn't know I was pregnant! Jeans are definitely snug... I'll be investing in a few more pairs of leggings I think!!

Lazysundays18 · 09/12/2018 21:33

@KMic No spotting here either. Nipples have been sore since around a week past ovulation but I had that last time I was pregnant too. My little boy is 2.5. Exciting that this is your first! x

KMic · 09/12/2018 21:36

@Lazysundays18 I know! First month of trying too so we are a bit shocked. So many of my friends tried for 4 months or more so we just thought we'd start trying assuming it wouldn't happen quite so quickly! Bit concerned that I was out drinking what must have been the first weekend after I fell, but from what I have read it shouldn't be too much of a worry. All very exciting, but trying not to get carried away as I know it's very early days!

Lazysundays18 · 09/12/2018 21:41

@KMic Aw I wouldn't worry about that. Everything will be fine. It's a nerve wracking time though isn't it? I thought I'd be more relaxed second time round! Definitely not 😂

dragonmummy17 · 09/12/2018 21:42

@CalmerComber DS will have 2y 3m gap with new baby. My thought is to sling the baby with him on the pushchair or use a buggy board. He's been walking since 11 months and only uses the pushchair when tired anyway... he can walk for ages!! I'm not sure yet about the childminder though... I think he might need to go for a little bit because its taken a lot to get him settled

KMic · 09/12/2018 21:49

@Lazysundays18 sure is!! So nice to have this group to chat about it as I don't want to tell anyone yet. Drs apt is booked for Friday to confirm and point me in the right direction. Might tell parents then, but leave it a bit longer until we tell anyone else. The hardest time to fall though as have a few nights out / parties planned! People are bound to guess! It sounds silly, but the hubs and I quite like I just being our little secret at the mo Smile

Triskaidekaphilia · 09/12/2018 21:59

@Lazysundays18 I've had nausea from before my positive test, actual sickness from 5+6!

@mrsof20118 I've gone off nearly everything except white carbs and cheese! I was getting so healthy while ttc but now I'm eating crap and too tired and sick for the gym :(

EverythingNow · 09/12/2018 22:28

@calmercomber there is 17m between my dc2&3 And I would definitely recommend a double buggy just because sometimes they would both nap in it on the school run and I would get a cuppa in peace. I had a babyjogger city mini double and I loved it so much I want the single this time. Super narrow and so easy to fold!

Belle2008 · 10/12/2018 06:54

Sorry to hear that @pinklady I had a chemical last month and caught this time straight after so fx for you x

I keep getting like period pain guessing it's all the stuff going on inside me right now, has anyone else got this?

My baby's 8 months so I will definitely need a double buggy 🙈 I must be mad 😂

KMic · 10/12/2018 07:04

@Belle2008 I had that a couple of times last week ... think it's just the implantation... a good sign that it's getting all comfy in there!

Belle2008 · 10/12/2018 07:20

Kmic thank you I guessed that what it was I'm sure I remember having it last time aswell. It's not bad just mild cramps every now and again. Think I'll be 5 weeks Wednesday need to go and see the gp really to sort out midwife xx
