@sunshine1987 I’m glad it’s not just me! I literally bought them two weeks ago & they fitted perfectly. Jesus I feel so squashed in them they are way too tight have had to unbutton them! How crazy is that 🙈 seriously bloated I wonder does it go away or is that those jeans done for a year lol

KMic · 09/12/2018 10:57

Feeling soooo tired today!!! And just feeling generally a bit meh. Only 5 weeks tomorrow! Still smiling though Smile

Kileah18 · 09/12/2018 10:59

@Ninunina thank you! I havnt gained any weight yet but my jeans definitely fitted as I tried them on before I bought them!
Hope all is ok with you, i would message doctor even just to speak with them for peace of mind

Brownzy · 09/12/2018 11:45

Woke up this morning and my boobs are full and heavy....and veiny

Everything is happening a bit earlier this time

Triskaidekaphilia · 09/12/2018 12:24

@Awaitingalondonbaby the difference for me seems to be that when I've got a bug I feel worse when I eat, with the morning sickness the sickness comes on worse when I don't eat (although have also had it when I ate too much at once). I wasn't entirely sure at first but I've had it all week now and have learnt how to better control it (eat all the time and rest a lot) so assuming its not a bug.

@KMic we've not talked about it yet but assume we'll find out the sex. Want to get unisex clothes anyway but would like to know which name we're using. I think it's a boy but no idea why, and my workmates think so too! Would slightly prefer a girl but only because I'm impatient to use my girl name. Grin

@Kileah18 I'm really bloated too. Can't get into my really tight jeans. Doesn't help that while TTC I was eating a high protein diet with loads of veg but now all I can stomach is white carbs and occasionally cheese! I took a picture and compared to 2 weeks ago my tummy is massive! Not sure if I've gained weight or not, just before my BFP I was 70.5kg and at the doctors last week I was 72kg, but that's unclothed, morning weight compared to clothed, evening weight, so may not be too bad. That was before 4 days of in laws buying us takeaway/meals out though!

@KMic I'm so tired too, I was literally too tired to sit up on the sofa yesterday and had to go and lie down upstairs. Had it since 4 weeks but it seem to hit me at random.

@Brownzy mine are huge now, think I need to get some new bras already. Was 30gg before with only one style that's comfortable, so I'm expecting this to be a massive pain in the arse.

Notanotherpawpatrol · 09/12/2018 12:29

I'm already in maternity clothes here 😳 it does help that maternity jeans are just so comfortable

Awaitingalondonbaby · 09/12/2018 12:43

triskaidekaphilia yes I think that’s probably a useful way of knowing, I haven’t really eaten since I was sick yesterday, whereas in last pregnancy I ate pita bread and hula hoops non stop to help with the nausea!

milly2000 · 09/12/2018 12:45

Hi all! Has anyone started using any stretch mark creams or oils? I'm only 5 weeks so not sure when I should start! First time pregnancy so zero experience.

Triskaidekaphilia · 09/12/2018 13:07

@Awaitingalondonbaby pitta breads were my go to last week as well! Grin

@milly2000 everything I've read says stretch mark creams don't really do anything except moisturise- although I think being well moisturised does help them fade quicker. I think I'm going to get them because I already have loads from puberty.

LouiseD2018 · 09/12/2018 13:08

Tentatively joining, I'm unsure of date and praying with all my heart everything will be ok.

We suffered an ectopic in June, saw a little beating heart it crushed me knowing he couldn't survive.

Chemical pregnancy in Oct / early Nov.

I wasn't sure when I'd come on after chemical and I wanted a little break. I assumed treat it as a normal period & avoided my fertile week. I felt as though I was due on last week, but nothing arrived and pm symptoms came to a halt. Yesterday my nipples started hurting....I thought surely not, one tube, co last month, barely any sex this can't be happening... I tested positive!!
It was quite faint, so I'm going to retest later this week.

My mind is doing summersaults, I don't quite understand how this happened it seems to be a bit of a miracle to me.

I was offered 6 week scan due to last ectopic but I don't actually know when 6 weeks will be....I thought if test gets stronger this week il do a digital test see if that gives me an idea

Congratulations and good luck to you all xx

milly2000 · 09/12/2018 13:14

@Triskaidekaphilia yeah I've heard you'll ether get them or you won't. My mum hasn't got a single mark on her but she said she creamed twice a day everyday and she's convinced it helped!

Whoopsies · 09/12/2018 13:19

I didn't get any in my last pregnancy.... until labour!! Then I got a few down in my pubic area so they are always covered fortunately! And a couple of my stomach. I do think you either get them or don't. My mum never got any but my sister got loads!!

Moonchild23 · 09/12/2018 13:58

Ladies what’s the situation with hot baths? I’m hearing they can’t be too hot and I like them HOT. But when I’ve googled there’s conflicting info

Triskaidekaphilia · 09/12/2018 14:47

Welcome @LouiseD2018, sorry to hear about your losses. Flowers Fingers crossed for you.

@milly2000 I think its genetic so hopefully you have your mums genes for it!

Mammyofasuperbaby · 09/12/2018 16:09

Hi ladies. About 5 weeks now. I've had a bit of a negative turn. I started getting brown bleeding on Friday, it comes and goes bit stays very light.
Has anyone had this before. I can't ring my midwife till tomorrow

milly2000 · 09/12/2018 16:42

@Moonchild23 I love a nice bath but as you say all I can find is conflicting information. I plan to wait until I reach 12 weeks and then I might start having warm baths again just not as hot as I like them.
@Mammyofasuperbaby I'm no expert but I've been told that light brown bleeding at this stage is perfectly normal. Hopefully your midwife can confirm that tomorrow. I'm personally finding this first 12 weeks hard I just wish it would all hurry up.

Bakingabean · 09/12/2018 17:03

@moonchild23 I read all the advice and decided if it didn't raise my body temperature then it couldn't do any harm. So I had a warm bath this afternoon....Went for body ish temperature.....It was wholly unsatisfactory as I was bloody freezing by the time I got out 20 minutes later!

PinkLady89x · 09/12/2018 17:35

Hello ladies,
I'm finally able to post about it! So I had very light brown - only when I wiped and not often, maybe once or twice a day and then sadly it turned to blood 😢. Pregnancy test never got over 1-2 weeks and I believe I sadly lost the pregnancy. As it was so early, I believe it was a chemical pregnancy. After reading the stuff on baths I can't help but feel guilty because I had no idea and was having hot baths everyday! 😳. Anyways, I know I ovulated this weekend so I'm still hoping to get a BFP in the next couple of weeks and if that's the case, it'll still be an August baby! Trying to stay positive as this is my second loss. I only started ttc in July and got preg straight away and lost it at 9 weeks with a mmc. Then literally a month after that, got preg with this one. I'm staying hopeful that I seem to get pregnant really easily - within a month - and that I'll get a sticky bean soon!
Good luck to all you ladies! I'm hoping I can join in again with the fun in a couple of weeks but who knows. X

EverythingNow · 09/12/2018 17:37

So sorry to hear that @pinklady89 I was thinking about you. I really hope you get your bfp soon xx

Ninunina · 09/12/2018 17:47

So sorry to hear @PinkLady89x. Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be back on the thread soon. DD1 was conceived 2 weeks after a mc, so it's possible!

LouiseD2018 · 09/12/2018 17:58

Sorry to read that @pinklady89 I suffered a cp last month, although it's early I fell right away so definitely a good chance for you, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you xx

Cardi86 · 09/12/2018 18:44

So sorry to hear that @PinkLady89x Fingers crossed for you next cycle xx

Cardi86 · 09/12/2018 18:47

Just had a read through today’s posts, I’m insanely bloated too. I’m embarrassed that I really look pregnant but can’t tell anyone! Seems mad to be resorting to maternity clothes when baby is the size of a seed but I think I’m going to have to. Unfortunately my boobs have not grown even a centimetre so I’m looking very unbalanced 😊

Ninunina · 09/12/2018 19:48

Anyone else finding that they keep scrolling through the John Lewis baby pages? I know it's way too early, but it's literally the most fun bit about being pregnant.

I've got my eyes on the Bee5, Babyzen YOYO+ and the Chicco next to me crib. I've literally still got everything from my girls since I was saving it for my sister....but my Moses basket is on its last legs and my bugaboo chameleon needs repairs.

I'm surprised that not that much has changed since having DD2 4 years ago.

Update on CM: no more brown discharge. It's back to clear. It's been such a tiny amount when wiping I'm thinking it shouldn't be too much to worry about. I'll still try and see my gyne tomorrow though.

dragonmummy17 · 09/12/2018 20:03

@PinkLady89x so sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed for the next cycle
