@AnotherOriginalUsername hmm that's what I read too, will keep an eye on it and ring midwife it it gets much worse.

Ja1992 · 06/09/2018 14:19

@shallon no im sure they would have said. Googling is thw worst thing to dl as they give you loads of answers which make u think more into things x

AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/09/2018 14:25

@shallen my notes say if itching no better after 24-36 hours then speak to midwife. A cool shower may help?

Ja1992 · 06/09/2018 14:32

Anyone due on 20th november? Are your boobs already leaking or is it too soon? X

shallen · 06/09/2018 14:33

Went for a walk outside and seems to have improved a little, I'll keep an eye on it.
Thanks guys.

EL332 · 06/09/2018 15:04

@shallen and @Another thank you!

I have a midwife appointment on Tuesday so will ask then 🙂

Anti D injection tomorrow has anyone else had it? How long did you have to stay on the ward?

OP posts:
AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/09/2018 15:11

Not had that @EL332, I'm positive

Ja1992 · 06/09/2018 15:15

El332 i had my anti d tuesday its in your thigh. 10 mins ur in there. They tell u sit to sit in waiting area for 10 mins before leaving that all x

hammeringinmyhead · 06/09/2018 15:35

My anti-D was in my left arm during my 28 week midwife appointment. Not gonna lie, it hurt! But I had also had a blood test in the same arm.

Ja1992 · 06/09/2018 16:17

I suppose they could do it anywhere really aslong as its in ur system. I had to go to the hosp for mine tho not my midwife appointment x

shallen · 06/09/2018 17:11

Potential stupid question alert, what's an anti d injection? On only 26 weeks so behind a few of you guys.

BrewsD · 06/09/2018 17:29

Anybody else struggling with sleep? I've had a few sleepless nights in a row and it's really caught up with me, feeling very sorry for myself!

Ja1992 · 06/09/2018 17:46

Its for those whos bloods r rh negative xx

AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/09/2018 17:59

Yes @BrewsD. Struggling to get to sleep then waking up at 4am without being able to get back to sleep (plus a few wee trips in between as well!). Weekend naps are the greatest thing ever currently.

hammeringinmyhead · 06/09/2018 18:11

If you need anti-Ds they tell you at about 16 weeks after your first bloods. It's for the 15% who are rhesus negative and might develop antibodies against rhesus positive babies. I'm B- which is rare apparently!

Melaniesunflower · 06/09/2018 18:14

I'm also waking up at either 4 or 5, then struggle to get back to sleep. Really annoying if it's 5 as my alarm goes off at 6.30

dw23 · 06/09/2018 18:19

@Pickles31 I'm 31 weeks today too! I thought I was 32 for some reason 😅 so you're due on 8th November? Do you know the sex, I'm having a girl.

My skin has started to itch too but only on my belly and chest, I think it's the stretching skin and being too hot in bed. Also struggling to sleep all the way through the night, was up at 4am this morning busting for a wee and then couldn't sleep again 😬

BrewsD · 06/09/2018 18:28

Going to try a herbal spray to help with sleep tonight so here's hoping for more than a couple hours🤞🏼

EL332 · 06/09/2018 18:42

I've had some really rubbish sleep this week and I've felt so drained and towards the end of the week I'm just getting grumpier 🙄

AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/09/2018 19:07

Apparently we have a full house this evening 🙄 All I want to do is go home, shower and sleep. I don't think I have the energy or patience to play civil happy families tonight, so taking the dog for a very long, slow walk before we head home from work

Pickles31 · 06/09/2018 19:23

@dw23 yes I’m due 8th November and I’m having a boy Smile ooh I’ve not had itchy skin just yet but had very bad constipation a few days ago but I’ve been taking Luctolase recommended by ladies on mumsnet which has helped a lot :) I’ve got quite bad SPd at the mo so went to a physio today and she’s given me exercises to try. I’ve also been struggling with sleeping but mainly cos of the pain in my pelvis abs having to keep turning over in the night. Apart from that I’m doin ok apart from being very tired a lot now. Such a struggle to put tights on! I’m glad the weather is cooler now too :) is this ur first baby? It is my first Smile

EL332 · 06/09/2018 19:33

Oh @Another that's so not what you needed ... will they stay the whole evening?

OP posts:
AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/09/2018 21:20

I got home at 8:15 and they'd all gone. It's very easy to walk my dog slowly, he's 16 years old!

Just had a debrief with husband and MiL and I think it's going to come to a head soon. The latest on the grapevine (so basically BiL has said to SiL (husband's sister) who has said to MiL) that BiL's girlfriend ant understand why I've (not we've) chosen to name our baby the same as both of her son's (her older son, not BiLs) has the same name as our middle name 🙄 There's definitely some kind of deluded ulterior motive but I can't work out what it is. Husband has hypothesised jealousy but I can't see why that would be. I'm very close to just asking her out right to be honest.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/09/2018 21:22

Husband also overhead a comment from BiLs girlfriend, nephew (SiLs son, 3 years old) asked "what's that?" referring to the baby, to which BiLs girlfriend replied "competition" 😡 Fortunately for all involved, SiL did not hear this comment!

Emma198 · 06/09/2018 21:23

She sounds like a right knob. Sounds to me like she wants to think you and your sister in law are both jealous of her.
