So i would have conceived towards end of febuary then? My baby doesnt stop hahaa makes me think hes going to arrive sooner lol xx

Emma198 · 04/09/2018 20:09

@Ja1992 assuming you have regular cycles, if your due date is 20 Nov, your last period was 13 Feb and you ovulated right at the end of Feb. Your due date might have been changed at your 12 week scan though. Did you find out late that you were pregnant?

AnotherOriginalUsername · 04/09/2018 20:15

Count back 38 weeks from your due date - that's approximately conception time

Ja1992 · 04/09/2018 20:16

No i done a test 20th march had my 12 scan 22nd may which i was 14 weeks as i had a late scan so that would make my last period 13th of feb?? They couldn't b 3 weeks wrong could they as i also have in my head that it werent a period and my last one was in january. Since i been pregnant im anxious about everything lol they would 100% see a difference if i was 3 weeks more than i am . Its just my period in feb was quite light xx

Ja1992 · 04/09/2018 20:16

Thanks xx

Emma198 · 04/09/2018 20:22

12 week scan is based on size of baby at that point and in general they grow at much the same rate that early on, so I wouldn't say it was possible for them to be 3 weeks out.

Ja1992 · 04/09/2018 20:28

Ok thanks so much xx

Italianshark · 04/09/2018 20:53

@HungryN I want a waterbirth 🐳

Melaniesunflower · 04/09/2018 22:00

Marking my place! 28 week appointment on Friday, hoping to alleviate my paranoia about size, as everyone says "you're very neat...." . As for conception dates, IVF definitely has it's advantages on that front, I'm sure if I wanted to know, I could find out the exact time sperm met egg 🤪

Ja1992 · 04/09/2018 22:18

Lucky u lovely! I want to know my exact date too lol i hope its right n im not 3 weeks further to what i been told n measuring xxx

Emma198 · 05/09/2018 15:53

Is everything OK @Ja1992, is there a reason you're so anxious to know?

It's my birthday today and I am shattered! Still, got woke up by baby kicking and don't think I've ever had a better birthday morning than that!

shallen · 05/09/2018 16:14

Had my first bump measurement today, fair bit over the 95th centile line! Told not to worry about it at this stage, but I really don't want a massive baby!!

But scared now but hoping it's cos I was absolutely busting for a wee after necking 1.5 litres of water to make sure I could produce a wee sample! Guess I'll see what the next few measurements say.

Emma198 · 05/09/2018 16:23

@Shallen I was at 70 and was asked to book in extra appointments with my midwife to keep a close eye!

dw23 · 05/09/2018 16:29

@shallen, don't know if this will help but my midwife got so sick of me not being able to product wee samples on demand, even though I downed loads of water, (I'm a nervous pee-er) she actually gives me the sample container to take home so I can do it at home and bring in next appointment, that way your measurements might be a bit more accurate if you're worried about that.

Happy Birthday @Emma198! First one as an expectant Mum is so special, huh? My mother gifted me all her favourite Enid Blyton books that I read as a child for my daughter, it was so touching.

Ja1992 · 05/09/2018 16:38

@emma198 ive emailed u x

Italianshark · 05/09/2018 16:39

@shallen my midwife told me not to worry about the fundal measurements. She said they are mainly looking for a stop in growth or reductions in growth and in actual fact, the chart is rarely ever right. My best friend was normal weight before conceiving. Grew this enormous bump and was told her baby was going to be 12lb. He was 7lb. It's possibly the most inaccurate measurement ever!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 05/09/2018 16:56

Home from work and BiL is here (fortunately without girlfriend and baby) and there's a definite atmosphere 😕

Emma198 · 05/09/2018 17:31

He needs a good telling off!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 05/09/2018 17:43

He hasn't even mentioned it. Also didn't say anything when husband text him to tell him ours was definitely a boy

hammeringinmyhead · 05/09/2018 18:07

Eesh. Your BiL has a cheek!

I'm now 30+1. Just back from a mini break to Cornwall. Mum and dad were down at the weekend so we finished painting the nursery and got the dinosaur curtains up.

NCT starts on Saturday for us. Otherwise all good. I have a midwife appt on Tuesday - should be uneventful. My last one I had to have the anti-d injection. Urgh.

Ja1992 · 05/09/2018 19:43

Have u had my inbox emma x

Emma198 · 05/09/2018 20:44

Thanks @dw23 😁 it's my 30th and a lot tamer than my other milestone birthdays but wouldn't have it any other way!

@hammering sounds like a lovely weekend! X

@Another he must feel ashamed of himself.

I've never been asked to wee on demand, always been given a tub in advance 😊. I was expecting a scan yesterday so had a full bladder too 🙄.

@ja1992 glad everything is ok x

Kt2108 · 05/09/2018 22:02

Place marking too! 30+1 like a previous poster! All getting real!
Also sick of the comments regarding bumps.. it's none. Of. Your. Business
And NO you can't touch it! 😂
Anyone got pelvic girdle pain (?) I'm crippled!!

shallen · 05/09/2018 22:10

@Emma198 no fair, i have to wee on demand every time I go to any midwife appointment, only had Stage fright once where I eventually managed to squeeze the tiniest dribble out and missed the bloody tub with most of it!!

No such fear this time, after my gallons of water!

shallen · 05/09/2018 22:33

Looks like Lidl have a baby event on their random middle aisle bit from tomorrow. Our local one has a picture of a changing table in the window, not sure what else they have on offer.
