I had a nice relaxing night at my Daisy Graduates Class, then a soak in the bath 🛁. Was definitely needed after a busy day of the new suit and the man to install the new smart meter arriving at the same time, then going to collect the pram .....

julzx · 09/11/2018 23:14

Serious problem with share bags of minstrels going missing in this house...

Can tell the doctor prescribed cyclizine cant stop eating after being so sick! My personal favourite everytime i pass tge fridge is coctail sausages washed down with some grapes..

My boasting ive only put on 6 pounds the whole pregnancy is going to go out the window really fast 😂😂

EL332 · 09/11/2018 23:28

Sending hellos and hope everyone's ok and massive congratulations to @hammer on the new baby!

I've been keeping up with all the messages but have been super slack at joining in and responding to people...

I've had all sorts going on and was in the hospital most days this week...

But today was hospital free - everything the baby needs is ready and I've managed to rest a little bit.

Felt a real urge to clean today and was super thorough today - I had scrubbed, bleached and cleaned like a woman possessed!

I was convinced he might appear last night after my body decided to 'empty' I didn't feel unwell but spent the evening on and off the toilet followed by Braxton Hicks...

Has anyone else had any signs that they think labour is near? ❤️

@EL332 Sorry to hear you have been in the hospital hope all is well!

I feel the most furthest away from labour ive felt the whole time its hard to explain not one twinge or cramp... i have had the emptying and also quite severe sickness now have tablets so im eating everything in sight!

Looking forward to being 38 weeks tomorrow.

Italianshark · 10/11/2018 02:05

@julzx I am the exact same! From Friday last week I felt awful every day like today was the day but yesterday and today I have felt better than ever!! Frustrating.

I still haven't had any BH ☹️

Kt08x · 10/11/2018 05:54

Nothing over here either! Every twinge I'm like oooooo is this it!
Had some really bad pelvic pain on Tuesday - and was convinced. But nope. Nada. Nothing.
Sweep booked for Tuesday (due date!) so we shall see

For cordless vacuums.. sorry can't remember who said it. But have a look at shark! They are incredible
Wow. I'm boring 😂😂😂

rhuzzle89 · 10/11/2018 07:22

Hi everybody

Been a bit busy trying to survive the last few weeks of work - this is my last one coming up as of Monday so hooray. Have kept up with the messages as much as possible

Me and DH going to spend today batch cooking freezer meals, and I’ll finally pack my hospital bag (37/40 on Tuesday late doing this as usual).

It’s getting near now - can’t believe some babies are arriving. For me all quiet now, not sure if head is engaged but baby seems to have been head down since about 28/40 and has never been a big turning type of baby seems to just hang about and kick and punch a bit - not complaining!

Mintmrs · 10/11/2018 11:53

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining now, I’ve been lurking for a bit but have found it hard to keep up. Anyway I’m on mat leave now so hope to get more involved with the chat. Baby is due 6th December, team yellow FTM. Xxx

orangejuicer · 10/11/2018 14:39

@kt08x t'was me. Thanks for that, it is looking like a Shark at the moment!

Welcome @mintmrs how are you doing?

Had some joyous pains down below earlier (fanny daggers) which have been fun with the BH. We keep telling LO to hang on, it's not time yet!

Kt08x · 10/11/2018 16:40

@Mintmrs ahhhh another team yellow! Welcome to the club haha x

Kt08x · 10/11/2018 17:27

Did anyone see this on the pregnancy board? I ordered one.. £1 blanket £4.95 delivery I think. It's came and it's so lovely and soft!! Organic cotton and bamboo apparently x

Not feeling 100% here this evening which is
very unusual for me. Stomach doesn't feel great and I'm a bit crampy. Baby is not allowed to come now, we're not ready!!

julzx · 10/11/2018 19:32

@AnotherOriginalUsername i feel for you, i was bouncing on my ball about 12 oclock today and stood up my mum then said i was all wet at the back checked sure enough all wet.. id told her just previous to this i felt crampy anyway cramps continued all afternoon then got more intense to 20 mins apart this evening then..... they have stopped completley!!! A whole day of thinking maybe and now if anything i have what feels like period cramp in my back.. these babys dont half put you through the ringer!! so im thinking false alarm now feel rather silly

Melaniesunflower · 10/11/2018 19:49

I'm feeling crappy too, with some back pain. Baby also not allowed to come yet, I still have unpacking and tidying to do, also, not washed any baby clothes yet!!!!!

Melaniesunflower · 10/11/2018 19:50

Crampy

AnotherOriginalUsername · 10/11/2018 20:27

@julzx what was wet? Have your waters broken? If so you need to phone maternity triage

I've spent my evening clearing up dog vomit. At least I get paid to do that at work! Don't even know which of the 4 it is, I know which it isn't (the one who has sat with me all day!)

julzx · 10/11/2018 21:21

Still cramping so cramp has been non stop all day, the wetness im not sure off i was bouncing on my ball ( i had just been to pee before i sat on it ) so bounced for a few minutes stood up and my mum said my nightdress was wet at the back went and checked and my pants were all wet too never felt a thing! i just phoned maternity assesment just to get there opinion waiting on a midwife calling back .. the lady on the phone said it would be uncontrolloble you would need lots of pads? that contradicts what ive read/seen online as i didnt think it didnt have to be as dramatic as that so im very confused!

All i know did have soms excess water and being cramping all day.. still very uncomfortable so il see how things progress its the first time ive had cramps that havnt let up all day, did have a spell of tightnings too this evening they tailed off just cramps now

shallen · 10/11/2018 21:47

Last week I had period like cramps all day and most the night, every 15 mins or so, went for a fairly warm bath and that seemed to stop them.
Mine of course were just cramps/ BH.

EL332 · 10/11/2018 21:52

There must be something in the air today - I'm crampy too and feeling sick - took myself to bed early and am still just trying to get comfy...

I thought any loss of water even if you were unsure if it was urine or amniotic fluid needed checking - they can test any fluid really easily to see if waters have gone xx

Hey gang! I've been a creeper on this thread for ages but I just wanted to sneak on and post tonight as I think it's really interesting that there's a few of us this evening with the cramps and fanny daggers cause that's exactly what I'm experiencing tonight at 38+5 for the first time!

So excited (but also equally totally over this waiting game!)

dw23 · 10/11/2018 22:15

There's definitely something in the water (maybe literally 😱), I'm feeling similarly, cramps, jabby pains in nether regions, loose stools and sickness! I'm 40+2 though and have a section booked for Monday! Knowing my luck she'll make an appearance tomorrow 😂

AnotherOriginalUsername · 10/11/2018 23:15

Ugh been in bed for about 2 hours but still wide awake. Now up and wondering if toast and hot chocolate are the answer!

BarkerBump · 10/11/2018 23:40

I've been getting crampy for the last 4 days! I've kept thinking "is this it?" and ringing the midwife 😅.

Last night was the worst - 6pm I start getting cramps/contractions, and they come every 5 minutes lasting 45-60 seconds, a bath and paracetamol do nothing to help. Midwife says to stay at home until I'm getting 4 contractions every 10 mins so I try to rest... then at 5am everything completely stops!

What's that all about?!?!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 11/11/2018 02:57

Still awake.... 😣

EL332 · 11/11/2018 03:16

@Another I managed to sleep for a while but am now wide awake again as my body has decided to keep up its 'clearing out' process...

How are you feeling now? X
