Feeling the same @lovemylot1 nodded off on the sofa today song my 6 and 2 managed to not destroy the front room whilst I napped, or each other!

Really bad nights sleep last night, ended up on the bottom bunk with the 2 year old. He's such a fidget bum but was crying every 45 mins so I thought it would be easier 🤔😕

wonderstar1216 · 30/08/2018 20:02

Can you get raspberry leaf tea st Tesco?

lovemylot1 · 30/08/2018 20:08

The piles are much better today, I think I overdid it on Tuesday as I did 15,000 steps over the course of the day. Decided I’m not doing anything for the rest of the pregnancy, going to drive everywhere!

My children seem to get more clingy every day, probably to do with the baby plus new school year / pre school starting next week so lots of new stuff going on

OliveOrTwist · 30/08/2018 21:50

wonderstar I got mine from tesco, the clipper one.

Anyone else get a wonky bump? Baby always seems to be ina weird position which makes my bump.a really odd shape!

LucyLou19 · 30/08/2018 22:04

I got raspberry leaf tea from Holland and Barrett xx

Hey everyone due on tue, was at docs tue past and was 1cm dilated he gave me a sweep, have had really sore back and cramps since, rang the local midwife to make app for second sweep next week and she wouldn’t book my in saying I wasn’t in labour and they don’t offer sweeps until 41 weeks😡 clearly says in my notes repeat sweep😢 ended up crying and walking out! So fed up now and ready not to be pregnant tho def not ready for a new born baby which is making me feel like a horrible person!

beatbox01 · 31/08/2018 09:47

Also she wouldn’t examine me or even touch me, only went off the fact “that I haven’t had a baby” is reason how she knew I wasn’t in early labour! 😡 had an ecv 2 weeks ago hence the early sweep so baby doesn’t turn back 😓

Poptart4 · 31/08/2018 10:04

@olive my bump does be very lopsided at times. Baby pushes out on my right side sometimes.

@beat ive met some midwives that are right bitches. Sorry she was mean to you. Could you call your doctor and complain that she refused to do it?

If its any consolation i had 2 sweeps with my last baby and she was still a week late so they don't always work. I know its hard at the end but just think in 2 weeks time, at the most, you'll have your beautiful baby.

wonderstar1216 · 31/08/2018 10:05

My god what a woman! Can you get another appt with the dr or a diff midwife?

beatbox01 · 31/08/2018 11:03

Thanks girls waiting on the registrar who done last sweep to ring me back! Just can’t get my head around what she was sayin and thought it was just me being hormonal and over sensitive but heard the hubby telling my sister about it this morning and she was wanting to go in and complain 😂 made me feel a bit better x didn’t have this with my dd 5 hours start to finish labour, this time it’s just been goin in for days x

ichifanny · 31/08/2018 13:45

What a load of bollocks I got a sweep a few days before my due date the last pregnancy I had

wonderstar1216 · 01/09/2018 20:03

@beatbox01 did you manage to get hold of anyone?

All I've wanted to do is relax this afternoon and all my kids have wanted was to fight, argue, every noisy play imaginable and then to top it off 2'yr old chucked his dinner on the floor. 😴😴

beatbox01 · 01/09/2018 20:48

Hey no I rand again in the afternoon and he was on an emergency m so going to ring again on Monday! Still having pains and period like cramps but hasn’t got any worse! Just really trying to relax today and tomorrow x my friend wrote me out a letter of complaint so handing that in on Monday x I’m sure ur exhausted with a 2 year old aswel x

Halfeatentoast · 04/09/2018 21:02

Hope your ok beat.

I've been getting very achy legs lately, to add to everything else.

How's everyone else?

beatbox01 · 04/09/2018 21:13

Hey had another sweep today and reflexology after and just some mild cramping x nothing else x due date today so I’m now officially over due 😂 is it restless legs or sore? Bananas help restless legs for me x

LucyLou19 · 04/09/2018 21:16

37+4 today had sex this morning which lead to absolutely nothing!!! Finish work Thursday can’t bloody wait!

Halfeatentoast · 04/09/2018 21:18

Achy down one side that's worse when I lay down. I think she must be in a funny position and pressing on a nerve or something.

I eat a banana a day!

Did you hand your letter in?

Halfeatentoast · 04/09/2018 21:24

Lucy shame that didn't work - hope you had fun anyway! 😁
Pineapple and dark chocolate next? I have written off a curry as I don't fancy having a runny poo in labour, not fair on the midwives (I have a sensitive tummy) Grin

LucyLou19 · 04/09/2018 21:39

As it’s the only proven thing to work I think he’s defo not ready to be born yet!! Having nails and feet done and lashes Friday so anytime after that is fine 😂😂

Halfeatentoast · 04/09/2018 21:59

Oh a pampering session! Lovely!

LucyLou19 · 04/09/2018 22:01

Can’t wait!! It’s really needed xx

OP posts:
beatbox01 · 04/09/2018 22:26

Yes handed it in yesterday, doubt it will do any good x I’ve all my pampering done, might need a whole redo by the time I bloody go into labour at this rate 🙄
Maybe try the ball for half hour @halfeaten see if that shifts baba off nerve x

wonderstar1216 · 04/09/2018 23:02

Went back to work yday (teacher) thankfully no kids in for 2 days and I'm just covering classes for the next 2 weeks but I was asleep by 5pm! Kids back tomorrow though so must sleep!
Is it too early to be doing the deed in the hope they come out? I always thought was an overdue thing? Correct me if I'm wrong!

LucyLou19 · 05/09/2018 09:08

@wonderstar im thinking it’s if it baby is ready they’ll come xx

Due on Saturday, have had period-like pains, contractions and back pain for two weeks now, all leading to nothing - luckily I am otherwise pain-free and mobile so can go for long walks etc. but this is getting old... Somehow no one warned me about the never-ending pre-labour.
