I'm dying in the heat too, I had to be sent home early from work on Saturday night because I couldn't physically stand or walk, I think I have plantar fasciitis (flat feet) because I do a manual labour job that requires me to be on my feet and walking a lot. Desperately trying to find some good insoles and compression socks now before my next shift. Has anyone else had this problem? It's like the worst shin splints ever and my feet are bruised and aching.

Oh and the baby stopped moving for two days so I've been panicking and hysterically crying but she's back to nudging me now.

Italianshark · 02/07/2018 15:32

I'm nearly 20 weeks and definitely not feeling regular movements. Im not worried at all, as they say to not track it until 24 - but wondered if anyone else is?

All i get is usually 4-5am I wake up with like gas feeling, popping and occasionally i will feel a big pop sensation which I am just assuming is movement lol

AnotherOriginalUsername · 02/07/2018 17:23

Still not feeling anything here - still don't even feel pregnant!

dw23 · 02/07/2018 17:24

@Italianshark Since nearly 20 weeks I've been having near constant movement and it was so much on the scan they struggled to get measurements. And yeah it does feel like the cramps you get before a big poo. 😂 That's why I panic when she doesn't move a lot but like you said regular movement isn't expected yet. She did kick me quite hard last night though (I'm 21+4) and has been moving away again all day.

Hi ladies 👋🏻
Probably a little late to the party here, but FTM due 21/12/18.
Any due date twins? I shall now read back through the thread
:) Z x

dw23 · 02/07/2018 17:27

How far along are you @AnotherOriginalUsername? I didn't feel anything til about 19+2 and then it happened all of a sudden and she never stopped moving. But before that I didn't feel pregnant at all, apart from swollen belly which just felt bloated.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 02/07/2018 17:37

I'm only 17 and a half weeks so not expecting much movement wise. I also have an anterior placenta so been warned that I likely won't feel movement until later on.

EL332 · 03/07/2018 10:43

I felt a few flutters a week or so ago but still not felt any movement really...

I'm 18+5 now

I still feel like my body is changing and I definitely have a rounded tummy but my weight still hasn't changed... I dropped a few pounds in the first few weeks of pregnancy and since then, oddly, my weight has been the most consistent it has it years...

I think because I started overweight, maybe being a bit healthier is just meaning it evens out?

Who knows!

Has everyone else started gaining weight yet?

Dogmom · 03/07/2018 11:20

@EL332 . I'm the same as you, lost a bit of weight and now mostly stable. Rounded belly. Started with a BMI 26.

dw23 · 03/07/2018 11:21

Yeah I think with first pregnancy you don't feel much til later on anyways, although I was panicking because my friend felt movement really early on with her first, just proves what a uniquely personal experience this is for us all.

As for weight gain, I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks but I'd put on 11 pounds last time I looked, it's probably more now. I started out at 7 stone 11 so I'm not that bothered but my bump is massive compared to the rest of me.

Italianshark · 03/07/2018 11:37

I am the same, lost almost a stone in first 3 months! And have gained 2lb since? OH keeps telling me to eat more though! I'm 19+3 today and my bumps big. Had my sisters bday on Saturday and the tummy touchers were out! All telling me "oo its definitely a girl cos its all at the front" LOL

EL332 · 03/07/2018 13:23

It's funny how different everyone seems to be.

I've had a delivery of maternity bit this morning (amazing bargains in the new look sale) and wearing maternity fit clothes definitely makes my bump look a lot bigger!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 03/07/2018 18:09

I appear to have one cankle.... Hmm

AnotherOriginalUsername · 03/07/2018 19:42

And my bladder control is dwindling rapidly

EL332 · 03/07/2018 21:18

@AnotherOriginalUsername my bladder is fine in the day but I'm up on average three times each night...

hammeringinmyhead · 03/07/2018 21:22

I lost inches on my arms, thighs, and slimmed down on my face in the first trimester. I think it's no wine, no beer and no lattes!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 03/07/2018 21:46

My bladder is fine and dandy...until I stand up...Gravity is not my friend!

Weight loss? What's that? Not even a hint of nausea here = eating as usual!

ND348 · 03/07/2018 22:01

I lost a few pounds in the first tri ansnjave now put them back on but not weighing more than I started I don't think.
Got a few maternity bits, found they are a bit more flattering and don't just make you look fat!

Emma198 · 03/07/2018 22:05

I'm still weighing about the same. Weeing lots but I'm dehydrated so wish it would stop!

The bladder is really starting to go haywire for me too, especially in work, I'm rushing to the toilet constantly cos it feels like I'll have an accident but when I get there only a tiny amount comes out, it's so frustrating!

I've ordered insoles, compression socks and a roller ball for my feet today, I feel about 100 Blush

Kt2108 · 04/07/2018 11:48

I can't bare to step on the scales! Everything is tight and sure it's not 100% down to the bump which has popped out all of a sudden
Anyone in a position where everyone at work doesn't know? Wondering opinions. Obviously the relevant people know but not everyone and I like to keep private life separate..?

dw23 · 04/07/2018 11:57

@Kt2018 - I only have one pair of jeans that fits me now and they are new ones I bought cos I'm preg, I put weight on much easier on my lower body so yeah I have much more fat and cellulite, skinny arms and a massive hard bump.

As for telling people at work, I only told my managers until 14 weeks when we put it on facebook and then everyone knew (I was showing anyways, loads of people had guessed), my boss actually did an announcement in the staff meeting, so embarrassing, I'm extremely private too but learning to try and let go a bit, it's difficult. My colleague kept her's private til 20 weeks so it's possible if you wear the right clothes etc.

hammeringinmyhead · 04/07/2018 16:08

I had to spill after my 12 week scan. My bump is enormous at 21 weeks and it's so hot that in no way would I have worn layers in summer to hide it!

Emma198 · 04/07/2018 17:51

I can't make it through the day without a nap! Had a leisurely day albeit a bit of walking then sat down for a drink and ended up asleep. it's every day!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 04/07/2018 20:49

I told my manager and a couple of colleagues at about 6 weeks because of the risk involved in my job.
