Back in hospital. Another heavy bleed. Am told that last week I lost 500ml of blood. I've got cramps this time too so am pretty worried. I've been told I'll probably be admitted again. Petrified.

Oh So many messages. It's at 11. Hopefully, going by a couple of weeks ago I should be 10+1

Sorry pressed post too early. They can't see where the bleeding is coming from. They've done a scan and thankfully we saw baby and a heartbeat. I feel shattered with it all to be honest.

@kirinm so sorry you are going through this again as you suspected. It's great the baby still seems healthy but must be a huge worry for you. I hope they can locate the cause and it's something which eases your mind.

@UnicornsandRainbows1 hope the scan is going well this morning.

We had a very busy weekend and are mostly ready for CS-day on Wednesday. I am having mild irregular contractions and have had some signs of the (sorry tmi) mucous plug coming away so I guess it could still happen before then. I have been barely sleeping due to various discomforts but also mind racing and anxiety/catastrophising about something going wrong at the last minute. The idea of an actual baby still seems very surreal despite the Moses basket staring at me. Hopefully I will be able to share good news with you in a couple of days.

@MsJuniper I was just thinking of you today. I am booked in for Wednesday too. I am feeling exactly the same on all counts! I hope it goes smoothly for you and look forward to hearing your news

Is anyone else completely unable to even acknowledge their pregnancy till the 12 week scan? I’m 8+2 now but after two MMC last year the 12 week scan is my aim. If I make it to that and everything’s fine, I’ll feel like I’ve made it but until then don’t even want to think about the pregnancy. I’ve only just self-referred to a MW today. Just feel like the booking appointment the last two times was a massive waste of everyone’s time .

@Pinkvoid I absolutely felt like that. It's self preservation I think. It's like this enormous milestone that feels so far away. It's a long road. I hope time passes as quickly as possible for you

Gah sorry! I was going to say, now I'm hoping to make it to 24 weeks at least so there's a chance baby will make it but that is only because I'm having continual bleeds. I think if I hadn't bled I would have been feeling pretty confident after my 13 week scan.

All fine, have a little wriggler who kept falling back to sleep 😂 Now measuring 10+4 which is one day ahead of my lmp date which is crazy. Eurgh what a relief.

I know it's daft to poke around in there and I'm sure everything's "normal" but my cervix hole feels completely different to how it usually does. Hard to describe it, and googling's thrown up nothing at all, but it's not a perfectly round dent anymore, more like it's got a slit and a dent?

Is anyone else mad enough to be cervix poking?

Got my 8 week RMC scan Wednesday and and seeing my usual guy which will be nice. Then booking apt Thursday. DH and I have both decided we prefer non scan weeks to scan weeks. Of course we're hugely grateful to be getting early scans, but it feels like they're offering them for a reason and I know I'm not prepared for anything to be wrong this time around

Also worrying about missing so much work with appointments.
