If we can't be positive about the weather what can we be? Grin

Good vibes your way ek and unicorns

moomoo85 · 25/03/2018 09:56

Am struggling today as I am the same gestation that I was when I started bleeding last time. My discharge over the last few days has had the slightest hint of a beige colour but goes back to normal after a few hours, it doesn't feel enough to contact my GP about epac referral. Otherwise I have strong pregnancy symptoms which is hopefully a positive sign.

BertieBotts · 25/03/2018 10:30

Hotcookie, have you been on spinningbabies.com? I don't know if it works but it must be worth a try.

Moomoo, hand hold and hope you get through today okay.

Hi folks, bad news from me, I’m afraid. Another fucking mmc. Looks like the pregnancy stopped at 6 weeks but once again my body didn’t notice. The bleeding has started now so hoping it is over soon. Wishing the rest of you all the luck for your pregnancies. I hope to be back here one day.

BertieBotts · 25/03/2018 11:42

MsJuniper · 25/03/2018 12:09

I'm so sorry @ek78 - it's so unfair. I hope as you say it is over quickly. MMC is so cruel. Thinking of you Thanks

Snorebrown · 25/03/2018 12:31

So so sorry ek78 xx

intelligentPutty · 25/03/2018 12:34

@ek78 so sorry to hear that. I hope u are keeping well and this horrible part goes quickly.

I've had brown discharge since Thursday night (following good scan that lunchtime). Not sure what it means. Hoping for the best and dreading the worst. Never had sickness and don't have it now. Least my hr is still high.

@UnicornsandRainbows1 hope all goes well tomorrow.
And @moomoo85 thinking of u too. So hard when u are at same point again.

X

hotcookie · 25/03/2018 12:34

ek78 I'm so sorry. MMC is crap.

bertie I have been on spinning babies, and have done some of the things, the problem is she turned and has now turned back again, so I think she's is turning too easily. The midwife was talking about ECV before my 36 week scan but as she has turned again from being head down at that I think it's pointless (and so did she really) but we shall see what the consultant says tomorrow...

LisaSimpsonsbff · 25/03/2018 12:52

I'm so sorry ek78 - it's so unfair. I hope you have people around you to take care of you; be really kind to yourself Flowers

Flatwhite32 · 25/03/2018 13:03

Oh @ek78 I'm so so sorry. Life is so shit sometimes. Sending lots of love your way. Xxx

ek78 · 25/03/2018 13:28

Thanks all for your lovely messages. I am gutted but this time it doesn’t feel quite so shocking (though still totally shit). My partner seems to be taking it worse this time than last- maybe because I am not as bad. He has gone out to get supplies and then I will hunker down and wait for this to pass.

BertieBotts · 25/03/2018 13:38

DH found our second one worse whereas I was more resigned to it. Good idea to hibernate for a bit, take care.

keeponrunning85 · 25/03/2018 14:35

So sorry to hear that ek. Make sure you and your DH look after each other.

I briefly saw a friend's little boy last week and now he has slapped cheek. And we're away on holiday for the next week. So another thing to add to the list of worries! I'm going to ring the midwife tomorrow and see what she says.

hotcookie I hope she turns again and gets wedged that way! May I ask, is it you that has had uterine artery dopplers? If yes, what were they checking for? I've had mine done as part of a trial around pre-eclampsia.

NoCatsHere · 25/03/2018 15:02

Oh ek78 I’m so so sorry that is so fucking shit. Take care of yourself. CakeFlowers

Belkinsboo · 25/03/2018 15:40

Please can I join you?

@ek78 I'm so sorry to read your news. Such a cruel thing to happen Flowers

I'm currently 4+5, had a beta test on Monday @195, followed by one 48hrs later which was 734 so had risen well and high results. However I've had 9 early miscarriages over the last 10yrs, and never got further than 7.5wks. This afternoon I found pink discharge on my underwear, and more when I wiped. Plus my lower tummy is cramping. It's over again isn't it? I know there's nothing that can be done but I'm really wishing there was.

hotcookie · 25/03/2018 16:21

keeponrunning I was having growth scans as they think I have either a bicornuate or septate uterus and there was a chance of growth restriction with that. They do umbilical artery dopplers (not uterine artery) as part of those. As far as I can work out an increase in the diastolic flow/pressure (or the resistance I think in my case) can be an indicator for placental insufficiency. However-I'm not totally sure, I have gleaned this from dr google...

On the plus side-my potentially dodgy uterus is obviously not preventing her doing somersaults in there...

Flatwhite32 · 25/03/2018 16:30

@keeponrunning85 I'm a primary teacher and we had slapped cheek going round school a while back. My midwife said to get a blood test done at my surgery to see if I was immune. Thankfully I was (most people are), but if you're not, they can then advise you from there. Give your GP surgery a ring tomorrow.

BertieBotts · 25/03/2018 18:35

Oh no Belkins, I hope everything will be OK - hCG does indeed sound good despite the cramping. Nine is a lot to cope with. Have you any idea of the cause?

OP posts:
Belkinsboo · 25/03/2018 20:29

Thank you @BertieBotts. Nothing showed up on any nhs test so I went private about 2yrs ago and I was diagnosed with super high nk cells. I haven't been able to get pregnant since the diagnosis despite 7 cycles on Letrozole. This pregnancy was natural - my first natural pregnancy in 5yrs - so now I'm on cyclogest progesterone, heparin, intralipid infusions plus a cocktail of tablets.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 26/03/2018 04:56

I'm done attempting to sleep, clearly I'm too anxious to and every time I do it's just a bad news dream. I really hope that's not t's case.

Snorebrown · 26/03/2018 06:06

Hand hold from me unicorns. I'll be sending lots of good luck your way :0)

BertieBotts · 26/03/2018 06:16
