Anyone due in October?

I think I am due around October 8th. I’m very nervous due to previous miscarriages and hypermesis in my last pregnancy. I’m already feeling pretty sick and only around 5 weeks but I’m definitely pleased. Just hope the baby sticks.

Is anyone around 9 weeks like me and there symptoms has either calmed down or gone? Confused

DwangelaForever · 16/03/2018 07:17

@Markygirl1995 it's cause your placenta is forming and starting to pick up pace

Markygirl1995 · 16/03/2018 07:30

@DwangelaForever thanks!! Was so paranoid this morning but that makes sense x

Seeinglines · 16/03/2018 15:36

My symptoms seem to be easing as well @Markygirl1995 but I’m not 8 weeks yet. I was worried at first, but trying not to be now. Think I’m perhaps getting better at managing the morning sickness, and I’ve been on nights too this week so that’s actually helped. Some days I feel worse than others. I just hope everything is ok.

Markygirl1995 · 16/03/2018 16:18

@Seeinglines I was like that on and off but now they've gone!! Don't know whether to call the midwife or wait a couple of days to see if they come back Confused

Markygirl1995 · 27/03/2018 17:18

How is everyone????

Clarashan · 12/04/2018 02:19

Hi all, my fist is due on the 16th Oct. I live in Australia, all my family are in the UK. We don't really know too many people here. These groups really help with anxiety and advice when i'm freaking out! So thanks everyone x :)

Hi Smile I'm due 7th October, first baby and I'm 40. It's all a bit scary and exciting! Could do without the constant weeing though!

Markygirl1995 · 13/04/2018 07:56

@SLR1906 bless you the bloating is the worst! I've lost all that now and have symptoms only thing I probably get is tired all though last night I had some cramping which I'm hoping is only ligament stretching!

TinyTerror1 · 13/04/2018 08:00

@SLR1906 thanks, yes very exciting!

@Markygirl1995 thanks. It was planned but I didn't expect it to actually happen Grin
I'm finally beginning to relax and enjoy it - the first 12 weeks I was worried about miscarriage and then baby's nuchal translucency was slightly high (3.8) so with that and my advanced age I got a Down's risk of 1 in 5!! Had a detailed scan of baby last Friday which picked up no abnormalities and a CVS, results all clear on Tuesday so finally I can stop worrying. For a little while at least! And on the plus side I get extra scans so I get to see baby all the time. Next one on 23rd Smile

TinyTerror1 · 13/04/2018 08:01

Forgot to say - the actual pregnancy part hasn't been too bad at all. Very mild nausea, and the exhaustion has finally eased off. Keep forgetting I can't eat big meals though!

Markygirl1995 · 13/04/2018 19:25

@TinyTerror1 wow you're so lucky! I have a high risk appointment so think I'll be getting regular check due to under active thyroid and polycystic ovaries

CathyandHeathcliff · 13/04/2018 20:54

Had my scan on Wednesday. Due October 20th!
