Anyone due in October?

I think I am due around October 8th. I’m very nervous due to previous miscarriages and hypermesis in my last pregnancy. I’m already feeling pretty sick and only around 5 weeks but I’m definitely pleased. Just hope the baby sticks.

Hi congrats to all, I've just found out I'm 5weeks 6days after an early scan today following some bleeding, was a complete shock as we went planning for number 3, but happy now I know everything is ok, I must admit though I've never felt to rough and sick, never had it with my other two.

Hey everyone, I am around 5 weeks. I have some mornings I feel quite sick other days I'm all round feeling pretty well. I get a bit of back pain but that's generally it. I eat well everything that is gpps fpr the baby I dont drink caffeine at all either. Sound all good to everyone? Tia Lauren xx

I drink caffeine but only the recommended amount if I didn't I don't know how I'd stay awake lol @laurenluke2017

Don't know if this is a symptom but recently I've been so moody and snappy is anyone else getting like this or is it just me 😂🙈

Random question but is it ok to cook with booze whilst preggers? I was just doing my weekly shopping list and was going to do a chicken bacon cider casserole on Sunday-but then started worrying about the cider! Thoughts?

How’s everyone getting on. I’m due 28th October, so I’m 4 weeks 5 days today. My boobs are so sore already, I can’t bear my bra even touching them at the minute! I felt a bit nauseous yesterday in work, but none today on my day off
I’ve booked a private scan for in two weeks for reassurance that everything is ok

@Seeinglines my EDD is 28th October too. I'm tempted by a private scan after mc last year. Thinking I might do it around 8wks.

Called gp to tell them I had a positive test and they've booked me in to see Midwife on 22nd March. Should I be seen earlier?

I’m waiting for my appointment, it should be in the post. I think it will be 19th March when I’ll be 8 weeks. Think that’s about right to see the midwife for the first time. I had a miscarriage last month so I’m super anxious about this pregnancy, that’s why we booked for private scan RhiBee29 I’m so worried about everything, and still doing a pregnancy test every other day. But they are getting darker so all good.

I’m trying my best to eat healthy, but I am feeling hungry a lot of the time. But I’m overweight so I need to cut down really.

I've had my Early Pregnancy Unit appointment and scan today. They said there is definitely a yolk sac there but it looks like I'm not yet 6 weeks so they couldn't quite see an embryo. I've got another scan on the 7th to check if things are progressing as they should. They couldn't see an obvious reason for the bleeding. The nurse said something along the lines of sometimes the lining is almost too thick and so a bit sheds off and pools causing some bleeding.

Feeling reassured but not totally at ease yet. Wish this brown spotting would stop now.

@Seeinglines I mc last June so I get where you're coming from. It's taken 6mths of TTC to fall pg again. I'm trying to be positive and calm. I've done 3 tests so far this week and all getting darker so fingers crossed 🤞

I'm feeling the hunger too but only for rubbish food! I'll be 30 foot wide at the end if I carry on like this!

Had my booking appointment letter through today-it's at 7pm!!! Do they normally do them this late? Wondering if they'll still take bloods? I'm petrified of needles so need to prepare myself!

Probably depends on what hospital you go to, yeah I think they still do bloods @Laney79 dreading mine and doing a diabetes test because of the amount crap I eat

@Laney79 bless you. I still have it all to come too. My docs dont see anyone until 10 weeks! Im super scared, my first appt is on thurs, (no bloods) but i have to make my bloods appt with midwife afterwards, my stomach and mind are both like washing machines just thinking about it!!

I’m still waiting for my first midwife appointment. I think I should get it in the post this week. Mine is at the gp surgery not the hospital, so I’m not sure if I’ll have bloods or not. Hopefully it will say on the letter.

Is anyone else having insomnia? I’m so tired all the time, but I wake up at stupid o clock every night and I’m awake for at least an hour. I’m not sure if it’s just worry (I am super worried) or if this is normal.

@Seeinglines I wake up in the night quite frequently but for a drink or the loo lol

Hey. I’m due 6th October. In week 9 now and got midwife appointment next week. First baby and not planned but we are delighted. :)

@Seeinglines I've not slept properly since last Thursday, I'm exhausted and have a terrible headache 🤕 which I'm reluctant to take anything for. I know it's all anxiety related.
