Anyone due in October?

I think I am due around October 8th. I’m very nervous due to previous miscarriages and hypermesis in my last pregnancy. I’m already feeling pretty sick and only around 5 weeks but I’m definitely pleased. Just hope the baby sticks.

@RhiBee29 it’s horrible isn’t it. I hope after my private scan next Friday I will start to relax more and hopefully sleep better. I’m absolutely exhausted but even so I can’t sleep or stay asleep if I do drop off. I’m grumpy when I’m tired too. I wish I could just have some reassurance now because I feel horrific. I’m sleeping about 4 hours some nights then doing 12 hour shifts. I was thinking of bringing scan forward but it will be too early to see anything anyway.

RhiBee29 · 28/02/2018 16:54

@Seeinglines dropping off is not a problem but I wake after a couple of hours and then can't get back to sleep, my mind just whirls. Hopefully once I pass the point I miscarried at (6+4) I might relax a bit, only another week to go 💤

mintich · 28/02/2018 17:13

My morning sickness is awful....again. so hoping it goes away at 12 weeks as I had it all through my last pregnancy. All food just seems to have no taste at the no, I actually dread dinner each night as I don't want it.
I have a window between 11-3 when I feel a bit better so have most of my food then

TexBat · 01/03/2018 21:02

I'm due with my first Oct 2!

Markygirl1995 · 02/03/2018 08:06

Has anyone symptoms come and gone at all?? One moment I feel a little sick but not being sick, boobs hurt every now and then and my tiredness has gone. The only pregnancy symptoms I have left is constipation (tmi) mood swings and nipples browner with more noticeable bumps 🙈🙈

Seeinglines · 02/03/2018 08:35

markygirl1995 that is exactly how I am. I could have written that myself. My boobs were in agony last week but fine now, and sickness hardly even there. I’m so bloated and constipated too.
It’s so reassuring to hear someone else say all those things too!
I even POAS again because I was worried about symptoms all disappearing!

KLHL777 · 02/03/2018 10:01

Hi guys!

I'm 7 wks pregnant with DC4 and I feel like I'm showing already! Anyone else feel like they are showing already? Personally I'm welcoming every pregnancy symptom with open arms because I find them reassuring that things are going the right way. Have an early private scan booked in this week, just couldn't wait until 12 weeks!

RhiBee29 · 03/03/2018 15:21

@KLHL777 not showing so much but feel my jeans getting snug, could be that I'm eating like a bear in this weather!

TheSarahChronicles · 06/03/2018 10:07

Hi everyone! Hope everyone's doing well? I'm currently at around 8+6, got my booking appointment tomorrow and just wondered what I can expect? Have many of you had yours yet and what was your experience? Don't know if I should bring my husband or if it's pointless? Thanks in advance you lovely mummy to be's xxx

Markygirl1995 · 06/03/2018 10:15

I'm fine had to take today off to go get a scan done at 2:30 I wiped some off blood colour on tissue got so paranoid so going to get checked out!!!

Latenightreader · 06/03/2018 11:20

Hi everyone, I'm due on 21st of October, the day before my 40th. I was planning a big party this year, but fingers crossed I'll be a bit too busy!

This is my first pregnancy following multiple IUI and IVF cycles. I had a big bleed last week and was convinced it was mc, but blood tests were good and yesterday I had a scan and saw a good strong heartbeat. Still terrified that I'll bleed again and hold my breath every time I go to the loo. Which is a lot at the moment...

RhiBee29 · 06/03/2018 16:22

How was the scan @Markygirl1995

@Latenightreader glad you're scan went well. I'm debating a private early scan due to mc last year.

@TheSarahChronicles from what I remember with DS it was mainly medical history & form filling, they take both parents family history so may be worth taking your OH

Markygirl1995 · 06/03/2018 16:25

Hey @RhiBee29 scan was amazing heard the baby heart beat strong and healthy, right size, had limbs looked a frog and it's got a brain!!! They did however detect a small subchorionic haematoma which I'm paranoid about at the moment which may absorb its self or cause spotting or bleed out

Anyone due in October?
RhiBee29 · 06/03/2018 16:55

That's great @Markygirl1995, hopefully the haematoma will resolve itself. How many weeks are you?

Markygirl1995 · 06/03/2018 16:58

@RhiBee29 me too I can't go through another miscarriage just going to rest up now!! I'm 8 weeks according to scan screen but all can change at 12 week scan going to request frequent scans

KnitKitty · 06/03/2018 19:13

Congrats on the scan Markygirl1995, hope the haematoma sorts itself out.

I have my second scan tomorrow morning to see how things have progressed since my first one because of bleeding. They thought I was under 6 weeks last time as they couldn't quite see the embryo so I'm hoping things have grown as they should and we will be able to see a heartbeat.

The bleeding has at least stopped at last. Hope it stays that way.

RhiBee29 · 06/03/2018 21:44

Good luck @KnitKitty, let us know how you get on x

@KnitKitty how did the scan go??

Seeinglines · 08/03/2018 20:24

@Markygirl1995 congrats on the scan! Hope the hematoma sorts itself out soon.

knitkitty hope everything looks good on your scan today

I have my scan tomorrow evening so keeping fingers crossed for a heartbeat. I feel quite sick now, so that’s got to be a good sign hopefully...

RhiBee29 · 10/03/2018 13:34

@Seeinglines how was the scan?

KnitKitty · 10/03/2018 20:04

Thanks for asking.

They could see the embryo on my scan on Wednesday, but it was just under 4mm and so they couldn't detect a heartbeat yet.

This means I might be a lot earlier on in the pregnancy than previously thought. I have no idea when I ovulated or conceived. I only came off the pill at the beginning of December after a few years on it and don't know what my cycles are like. So I'm hoping I'm just a lot earlier than they thought.

Worse case senario it has stopped developing, but I don't want to think about that possibility. Just trying to take one day at a time.

Got ANOTHER scan on Wednesday. They really should be able to see the heartbeat this time, and it should have grown another 7mm I think. So just got my fingers crossed (again).

Would love to just be able to celebrate this pregnancy and stop all this toing and froing from hospital.

Happy Mother's Day for tomorrow everyone!

Seeinglines · 11/03/2018 09:51

@KnitKitty fingers crossed for you, hope everything goes well on Wednesday

@RhiBee29 my scan was great. We seen a heartbeat which was amazing and got a couple of pictures even thought there’s not much to see on them Grin she measured me at 6+2 but I thought I was 6+5 especially as I had a bfp at 10dpo which if her dates were right I would have only been 7dpo. She did say the dates at my 12 week scan would be more accurate so I’ll just wait and see. But all looking good and I’m not going to worry about 3 days difference

Seeinglines · 11/03/2018 10:01

I’ve just realised I’ve got that wrong. My dates will be out because I ovulated late, not til day 16 or 17 so that’s why I’m measuring less. Because they work from first day of last period and average day of ovulation is day 14.

KnitKitty · 14/03/2018 14:49

Not good news for me. Had my 3rd early scan and there's been no progress.

Waiting to miscarry now.
