Anyone due in October?

I think I am due around October 8th. I’m very nervous due to previous miscarriages and hypermesis in my last pregnancy. I’m already feeling pretty sick and only around 5 weeks but I’m definitely pleased. Just hope the baby sticks.

I'm due towards the end of October, keeping my fingers crossed that it'll all go well. Doesn't do much to ease the almost constant anxiety I've had since getting that BFP though... Grin

Hi everyone. I’m tentatively joining the pregnancy boards, I’m four weeks today, 13dpo with bfps since 10dpo. I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks last month so nervous doesn’t even come close to how I feel! Thinking of paying for a scan between 6-7 weeks to check for a heartbeat. I have a better feeling about this pregnancy though, hence why I’m joining here now Smile
I’ll be due October 28th apparently!
I’m having some heartburn and feel shattered but not sleeping well. Could be worry though maybe? How’s everyone else feeling?

Hayleyxmx · 18/02/2018 09:17

Your not the only one not sleeping if I’m not going the toilet 10 times a night I’m having really bad insomnia 🙈

Seeinglines · 18/02/2018 09:38

🤦‍♀️ glad I’m not the only one hayley how far along are you?

Hayleyxmx · 18/02/2018 10:34

I’m 6 weeks 4 days with my first pregnancy. I don’t know if it’s excitement or nerves that are keeping me awake 😂

VillageFete · 18/02/2018 11:16

Hi! I’m due 26th October. Apparently i’m 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant today. No idea how that works out! I know my exact due date as this is an IVF baby - I cannot believe I am so lucky to have it work first time!! I am on cloud 9. I’ve been through hell for 3.5 years trying to see that positive pregnancy test.

I already have a beautiful 8 year old.

I’m scared something will go wrong, but I need to try and stay positive, i’ve come so far!

I’m having terrible cramps now and again, it’s scary, but I am on progesterone pessaries and tablets so it’s to be expected I guess.

Pouxin · 18/02/2018 11:51

Some future “twins” for my baby here :-). Due 26th October so very freshly pregnant. It’s my first and we’ve been trying for 18 months. I’m 35 and was starting to worry! Literally went for blood tests last week and my husband got a referral to have his swimmers tested and BOOM! Pregnant. So baby is already a contrary little so and so - sounds about right Grin Really really hoping it’s a sticky little poppy seed. Am just constantly willing my uterus to be as hospitable as possible...!

When is everyone thinking of letting close family know?

I'm not planning on telling anyone outside immediate family until after the 1st trimester at least, but I would like some support from my family and as this will be my parents' first grandchild I'm thinking of doing something special to announce it, perhaps on mother's day. I'm so terrible at keeping secrets though, and the wait is agonising for me! Grin

CobaltRose · 18/02/2018 12:12

raises hand Me! Just found out I'm about five weeks pregnant. I'm 21 and a student, so this was very much unplanned (contraceptive failure). But aside from a healthy dose of terror, I'm actually pretty excited! Grin

papergazelle · 18/02/2018 12:14

Seeinglines I know that feeling. I'm exhausted all day but when it comes to the night it's so difficult for me to fall asleep (highly unusual...I'm practically glued to my bed by 11pm each night) and keep waking up!

Not very happy about that, especially since I also keep properly waking up a good hour before I actually have to get out of bed in the morning.

KnitKitty · 18/02/2018 12:43

Hi all,

Congratulations to everyone!

I literally found out this morning that I'm pregnant and it just isn't sinking in at all. I thought I'd cry and be over-the-moon but I just feel numb with shock.

I'm now worried as well as I've had bleeding on and off since Tuesday. Thought I'd started my period at first but then have barely had anything since, just old brown blood every now and then, which is why I reluctantly tested, fully expecting a negative. I know it could be implantation bleeding, but the Clear Blue digital says I'm 2-3 weeks, so would this still fit? Wondering if it could be cervix bleeding too, as it is very sensitive anyway, so maybe it's the hormone changes causing that to bleed?

Need to see my GP anyway, wondering if I should pull a sicky at work tomorrow...

From what I can work out I should be due around the 18th October.

RhiBee29 · 18/02/2018 15:01

Got a bfp this morning, absolutely terrified after mc in June 2017. EDD October 28th I think.

RowenaDedalus · 18/02/2018 16:37

Hope everything is ok knitkitty.

I am 7.5 weeks and I feel dreadful. How is everyone else? In the mornings I eat toast and then dry retch or be sick and lie on the sofa or in bed feeling nauseous. Then it wears off only to reappear around lunchtime, when I eat more toast! Then I feel weak and nauseous until the evening when I am sick again GrinSad I just feel so terrible and a bit pathetic really!
I have my booking appointment in a fortnight which means I need to tell my boss, possibly this week, to ask for time to go to it. Which is a pain as I wanted to keep it quiet until after the scan really.

SLR1906 · 19/02/2018 08:34

@MrsMalone1 oh my goodness i am so happy for you!! Havent been on here in a few days as ive been really sick but reading that has made me super happy Grin

SLR1906 · 19/02/2018 08:42

@RowenaDedalus i am exactly the same! I have spent 4 days in bed because i am so nauseous, im retching all day on and off too. Its so exhausting. My work dont know yet but i think im going to have to tell them early ( im 7 weeks) which i am disappointed about! I feel so pathetic and weak!! Bring on the weeks of no sickness i saySmile

SpongeCake23 · 19/02/2018 08:48

Going by my dates I should be due around the middle of October? But has anyone else been cramping like AF?

KnitKitty · 19/02/2018 09:12

I've had cramps on and off which have felt very AF like SpongeCake23

Don't feel any nausea or more hungry. No sore boobs but I think they feel heavier/bigger? I have been more thirsty and peeing for England, but I pee a lot anyway! Grin Sort of which I had more symptoms because I just can't get my head around the fact that I'm pregnant. Anyone else just in disbelief? I only came off the pill at the beginning of December and assumed it would take months/never happen because I have endometriosis.

Going to see the doctor this morning RE the bleeding I've had last week so feeling a bit nervous.

MinorDelays · 19/02/2018 11:13

May I join you? Had a faint positive last week - and a clear positive this morning.

I think I'm happy - but have a huge, month long work trip coming up over 7 countries and feeling very anxious about it. I just don't want to be away from home, feel a bit pathetic about it. Not sure whether to tell anyone from the team I'm travelling with.

KnitKitty · 19/02/2018 12:16

Just come back from the doctor's and he said that the bleeding I've had sounds normal at the moment. Phew.

I'll be 6 weeks on Wednesday.

I've officially booked my first midwife appointment today. It was very weird being congratulated on my pregnancy for the first time!

Still don't believe it.

How's everyone else doing today? When did your symptoms start, cos I'm still waiting.

Laney79 · 19/02/2018 13:41

Can I join too. Got my First ever BFP at 38 years old on Sunday-according to calculator due mid October. petrified-but starting to feel excited now too.

Not sure how I'm going to keep it quiet for another 6-8 weeks! We've each told one friend but other than that we are trying to keep it under wraps until 12 week scan.

Flev · 19/02/2018 21:11

@laney79 - I'm similar to you, I'm 39 and with my first ever BFP. It's so hard to keep it to ourselves, we've also decided on telling one friend each. How are you feeling in yourself?

Laney79 · 19/02/2018 21:18

@Flev not too bad-Tum feels a bit odd, not painful just different! Burping lots and seeing more than usual. Have also had mild nausea. How about you? Xxx

Laney79 · 19/02/2018 21:18

@Flev weeing! Not seeing!

Hayleyxmx · 21/02/2018 07:44

Well it’s official my sickness has set in, spending most nights huddled of the toilet. I’m also having really vivid dreams that wake me up then the insomnia sets in 😝

Still doesn’t feel real though so paying for an early scan on Saturday just need the reassurance

How is everyone else feeling 🙂

Flev · 21/02/2018 07:50

@laney79 - tum feeling odd is a really good description. It's almost like the very mild version of travel sickness - I don't feel sick but I'm aware of my stomach all the time!

Yes, weeing all the time here too, and really sore boobs at the end of the day when I take my bra off.

@hayleyxmx not feeling real here either. Strangely I'm currently finding the odd symptoms kind of reassuring - as evidence that my body is doing something different ie growing a small human! Not sure I'll feel that way if/when the nausea sets in though, sorry you're feeling rough Flowers
