Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

Day 8 post due date... Fed up and sore. BUT yesterday i had a sweep, mw said i was 2cm dilated. Hoped for a rubbish night of contractions but nothing. However this morning I've had a huge bloody show. Also, my boob stopped leaking a few weeks ago (it was only ever my right boob) but this morning they have BOTH started leaking. I realise this doesn't really mean anything but got a positive feeling about today and never been more excited for pain to start lol come on baby!!

Twitchett22 · 11/03/2018 11:04

My waters have broke!!!

Ro2017 · 11/03/2018 11:15

@Twitchett22 so excited for you! Baby is coming!! Apparently statistically 8 days over is most likely so you're right on schedule! I hope the next few hours go smoothly for you and can't wait to hear your good news soon 😁

MrsL2016 · 11/03/2018 11:20

How exciting @Twitchett22. Good luck and you may have your baby before the end of the day. I am due on the 17th so could still have a while ahead of me with early pains and symptom spotting. Feeling okay now and about to go out for a Mother's day lunch.

blinkineckmum · 11/03/2018 15:18

Good luck Twitchett! A Mothers' Day baby!

Ozziewozzie · 11/03/2018 17:32

Hi Hazydays81
I’m 38 +2 but am already 4 cm dilated. I’ll be induced tomorrow by breaking my waters as I’m 42. This is my 5th and last!!! It seems signs of early labour can go on and blooming on. I’ve had hundreds of baths, I’ve practically cart wheeled. But not a single sausage of a contraction. Pretty nervous for tomorrow but will be glad when it’s over and I have my daughter in my arms. When are you due? X

blinkineckmum · 11/03/2018 17:55

4cm and no contractions! Sounds lucky to me! I remember with my first, whi was back-to-back, I was in active labour for 18hours before getting to 4cm! Hope it all goes well for the 5th and final time!

HazyDays81 · 11/03/2018 17:56

@OzzieWozzie good luck for induction tomorrow! That’s good you’re already 4cm dilated, hopefully that means it won’t take too long. I’m due on Thursday. DS1 was 7 days overdue & DS2 was 8 days over so thinking DS3 may keep me waiting a while longer yet!

@Twitchett22 hope your labour has been ok so far & you have a Mother’s day baby!

Ozziewozzie · 11/03/2018 18:01

Thanks Hazydays81 champagne, pint glass and big straw packed in my maternity bag. Grin
I really hope you don’t have too much longer to wait. It’s like being in limbo. X

Ro2017 · 11/03/2018 18:13

Have been having mild contractions all day and they've ramped up to one every 6-8 minutes in the last couple of hours and I can no longer talk through them anymore. Suddenly terrified 😂😬 fingers crossed it's not a false alarm.

Vickylou78 · 11/03/2018 18:36

Ooh good luck @ro2017!

Vickylou78 · 11/03/2018 18:36

Good luck @ozziewozzie for tomorrow!

blinkineckmum · 11/03/2018 18:48

Good luck Ro2017!

HalfStar · 11/03/2018 20:01

Good luck everyone!

HalfStar · 11/03/2018 20:01

Good luck everyone!

LoveRainbow02 · 11/03/2018 20:17

Congratulations to the new mummies on the birth of their babies 😊. Also happy mothers day to all the new mum's and of course us mum's to be!

I'm currently in hospital after being induced this afternoon. I have been dilated at 2cm since last Wednesday and still 2cm today. I've had my 3rd sweep today and the propess pessary so fingers crossed things ramp up through the night.

Vickylou78 · 11/03/2018 20:28

Ah good luck @loverainbow02 too! X

blinkineckmum · 11/03/2018 21:06

Good luck LoveRainbow. I'm at home with a 2yo who will not sleep. I am so sick of the evenings being spent like this!

Princesspinkgirl · 11/03/2018 22:12

Can someone POINT me to another thread March babies where its more response on posts rather then ignored

Jjpeston · 11/03/2018 22:40

Hi @Princesspinkgirl How did your induction go, are you still waiting for the baby??

I am 40 + 4 today and having been pretty calm and cool about it all today I'm in a lot of pain in my pelvis and totally exhausted and fed up.

TheMrs04 · 12/03/2018 02:53

So I've been in labour since 10pm last night!! Decided to stay home as long as possible
Currently sat on the sofa in between contractions! Dh is in bed asleep at least one of us can sleep!!

Ozziewozzie · 12/03/2018 04:21

Thanks @blinkinheckmum.
I sympathise entirely with you red 2 yr old. We have one too and dh let him fall asleep yesterday at 5 whilst I was in the bath. Subsequently we were watching blaze and the monster machines till 10pm trying to tire him out. I am so grateful mynother three are much older now.
I’m just sat here now thinking last day of acid indigestion, restless legs etc. I’m also thinking howvlively it would be if we could all have our March babies at the same time.
@vickylou78 thanks for the good luck. Fingers crossed hey, but not legs obviously!

@Themrs04 How exciting although it’s s bummer you’re sat by yourself wide awake suffering. It makes a really long night. Maybe try a bath, with a towel behind your head and just close your eyes for a bit. I’ve done this many a time a stupid o’clock throughout this pregnancy. Thinking of you. Hopefully this time tomorrow night we will both be awake holding our new little babies.
@princesspinkgirl please don’t feel ignored. There’s a fair few of us on here so sometimes it’s tricky to keep up with everyone. I know it can seem like you’re not getting a response but it’s really not intended that way. Everyone seems lovely on here including you. Shame on us all though, we ladies are supposed to be expert at multi tasking!! How are you getting in? X

Ozziewozzie · 12/03/2018 04:26

Ohhh @loverainbow I so feel for you. You must feel as though you’re stuck in limbo!! You will get your baby soon enough though so hang in there...( not that you can go anywhere though really) ;)
I’m hoping tomorrow at 8am when I go in for induction they just break my waters. I hope your either in full blown labour, or holding your baby or fast asleep whilst I’m typing this. Best of luck xx

Ozziewozzie · 12/03/2018 04:29

@Ro2017
Sounds as though it’s the real thing especially if your really starting to feel them!! All I’m feeling is baby and her very long legs kicking my ribs and practically very close to my tonsils!Grin
Hopefully your baby will be here very soon. X

Jjpeston · 12/03/2018 06:47

@Potteryprincess30 I hope you're ok! Do let us know. Thinking of you X
