Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

PotteryPrincess30 I’ve noticed you haven’t posted for a bit - hopefully this means you’ll have some exciting news soon! Hope all ok.

GWeatherwax · 09/03/2018 12:40

Ooh @Twitchett22 I've heard backache niggles are very promising so here's hoping Smile

Congratulations @ExhaustedandHormonal!

blinkineckmum · 09/03/2018 16:24

Congratulations Exhausted! X

Ro2017 · 09/03/2018 17:13

Just been re-reading the chapter on going overdue in the Positive Birth Book and I thought others would be amused to refer their enquiring friends and family to the following website: www.haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com
😂😂😂

thaigreencurry82 · 09/03/2018 18:19

I’ve just had my bloody show!

Twitchett22 · 09/03/2018 18:37

Bump has continued to ache all day today aswell as period pains but also a persistent back ache but its mid way up my back, i would expect labour pains to be lower back? Was ravenous last night and today have felt sick with no appetite all day. I just want a painful contraction so i know things are starting, I hate not knowing what to look out for!
Also stocked up on lactulose today, absolutely loving the glamorous life right now.

sammy891 · 09/03/2018 21:42

Congratulations @ExhaustedAndHormonal!! So lovely to hear about all the little ones arriving Smile

Princesspinkgirl · 09/03/2018 22:00

I'm 39+1 had a failed sweep yesterday being induced Thursday feeling totally fed up

Vickylou78 · 09/03/2018 23:00

37 weeks and getting sooo many Braxton Hicks tightenings. I’ve had them all evening this evening all between 6-7 mins apart and last just over a minute long. Anyone else had these/having these?

Vickylou78 · 09/03/2018 23:02

I should add the tightenings are not painful but really uncomfortable as squeezing all across bump. Had them since 8pm and still going every 6-7 minutes.

Jjpeston · 09/03/2018 23:25

@Ro2017 Thanks for giving me a laugh.

I had a false start today - gaaahhh! Hoping things will happen tonight as having lots of tightenings and baby is really low down.

Baby is here Smile born last night, four days overdue, at 11pm ish (can't remember time!) at 8.01lbs. She's the most squishy thing. Wide awake in the postnatal ward now, too wired and sore to sleep! Hope everyone is doing ok. X

Congrats Tiffany! Bet you're glad the labour is over! Well done.

I'm up feeding. Dd was weighed yesterday and had dropped a bit already. Really hope milk comes in soon...

Ozziewozzie · 10/03/2018 06:05

Congratulations Tiffany. I’m so pleased for you, but equally very jealous!
I’ve had two sweeps, lost many a show and plug, 4 cm dilated yet not a single contraction. Induction booked for Monday but hoping andbpraying she pops her gorgeous head out before then.
I’m so tired of my blooming mother calling me 3 x a day ‘and sign yet?’ Really just want to smash her face in lol!! This is my 5th. One would think she’d just slide out!
Enjoy your beautiful baby. Well done xx

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 10/03/2018 06:32

Our little girl is here Smile 8lbs of cuteness, born yesterday at around 11pm, few days overdue! So much for speedy easy second births Wink Hope everyone is doing well!

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 10/03/2018 06:35

Oops, so sorry for the double post! Don't know what happened there.

Ozziewozzie, sorry to hear you're getting fed up! The waiting game is such a drag isn't it. I also hated all of the 'anything happening yet?!' Messages... erm if I'd had a baby I'd tell you! Wink

Halfstar I'm sending you lovely milky vibes! Oh and Brew

blinkineckmum · 10/03/2018 07:11

Congratulations Tiffany!

MrsL2016 · 10/03/2018 08:59

Wow I have woken up to another baby being born. This thread is busy with births! Congratulations @TiffanyatBreakfast. We need to even up the score with some boys arriving soon. I am 39 weeks today and not much happening, so I don't think it will be mine just yet.

sammy891 · 10/03/2018 09:40

Congratulations @TiffanyatBreakfast!! Enjoy your cuddles with little one SmileFlowers

MrsL2016 · 11/03/2018 06:12

Happy Mother's Day to all the new mummy's on the thread. How nice would it be to welcome a few more bundles of joy today. I am currently wife awake with lower back and period type pain but it's still early days so wouldn't be surprised if it eased off after a few hours like it has previously.

Ozziewozzie · 11/03/2018 06:49

@MrsL2016 I share your frustration. I’ve had so many signs of early labour I feel as though I’ve vompketed the entire text book. Loads of pressure and period pains and then suddenly I feel really comfortable. My baby has very long legs and uses them with my ribs to push herself down really low so often have plenty of pressure in my butt.....and then nothing again, although at the time it feels as though if I sit, I’m squashing her head! I’d love to have her today. I actually feel as though I could cope today with labour. I really hope things move in for you really soon xxxx

HazyDays81 · 11/03/2018 07:51

@MrsL2016 & @Ozziewozzie I’ve also had some period pain/low back pain & lots of downward pressure so wondering if it’s the start of anything. When are your due dates? I’m due on Thursday but went overdue with my 2 DS.

Ro2017 · 11/03/2018 08:15

Morning all and happy mother's day to all mummies and mummies to be on this thread!
I'm now 40+4 and still waiting, though this morning have had intermittent low cramping around my back and front. Hoping it could be the start of something but trying to ignore it so not to get my hopes up!
How is everyone else doing?

blinkineckmum · 11/03/2018 10:49

Happy Mothers' Day! May we all be calm and patient as we await our beautiful babies! Wishing you all a lovely day xxx
