Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

@Crapbags - we both most be due around the same time as I have 3 weeks to go too.

@Potteryprincess30 - I hope the unsettled tummy is a sign of things gearing up for you.

I still feel slightly crampy today and still getting lightening pains in my lady parts 😂. Also the discharge I've been having the past while has ramped up today. Going to spend some time on the birthing ball later to help my back and hips.

Hello All Mums-to-be in March/April! I hope you are warm and cosy wherever you are.

I have a special request for any of you who are around Fleet, Farnham, Hook, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Yateley areas: Would you be interested to offer an hour a week for a mother and infant observation? I am a trainee Child Psychotherapist and this is required for my course at Terapia, London. You would be getting on with whatever you would normally do and I will be a quiet company for an hour, having direct experience of child development week by week.

I would be honoured if you allow me to be part of this special time for you. Please get in touch for more info.

BTW, I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor working with adults and young people, Registered BACP member, DBS checked and insured. Not only would you be safe, but you would feel quietly supported by an experienced practitioner.

Warmest wishes to all,
Galina

@Potteryprincess30 yep we can pretty much say we will all have our babies this month! How long until your due date? Sounds like it could be happening soon...

@LoveRainbow02 my due date is 25th March how about you? Is this your first? This will be my 3rd My youngest is now 4.5 though so feels like a long time since I did the whole baby thing!

LoveRainbow02 · 01/03/2018 15:18

@Crapbags - my due date is 23rd although they have previously changed it to 18th then back to 23rd lol. Yeah this is my first baby so everything is new to me and I feel like I am looking for every sign and twinge now!

Anya1981 · 01/03/2018 15:31

Hello ladies, this is my first post on Mumsnet but been reading a lot of the discussions since going on maternity leave 2 weeks ago.
It’s my birthday today :-) and my first baby is due on the 6th, so not long to go! Bit worried as I haven’t had any symptoms whatsoever of impending labour - bump is still quite high up, am constipated (sorry if TMI but I haven’t had that problem at all throughout the pregnancy, so it’s frustrating it’s hit me this late in!). I’ve been having some pains in my lower belly, but i think it’s due to the above, and extreme wind (and I don’t mean Beast from the East, lol!).
So am very jealous of you ladies who are still 3 weeks away and having symptoms. Hopefully this little baby won’t make me wait to long...

Crapbags · 01/03/2018 15:32

@loveRainbow02 how exciting first baby! Do you know what you are having? I sort of wish this was my first so I knew I could do it all again.... this being no.3 I do feel like this is my last time so while I’m ready and excited to meet baby I also feel a bit sad about the pregnancy coming to an end even though it hasn’t exactly been a smooth ride this time....Such a mix of emotions!

Crapbags · 01/03/2018 15:35

Happy birthday @Anya1981 Flowers
I also have the extreme wind Blush the delights of being pregnant!

Potteryprincess30 · 01/03/2018 15:50

Welcome @Anya1981 and happy birthday! (even the typing the word 'birth' makes me excited!)

I am due the 7th though on my notes they say Tuesday i'm 40 weeks so that would actually be the 6th Confused. God knows but I wouldn't mind a baby in the next few days, the continuous ache/pain in my lower stomach is a bit uncomfortable so hoping it's something 'stiring'. I have been feeling really well physically, fairly flexible and sprightly then yesterday I started getting this period type cramp.

Never had it before so could a a few days or a few weeks, who knows!

Any advice ladies appreciated, had a bath and snooze, would love a walk but a bit snowy Grin

36 weeks now and feeling alot of pressure... espec in evenings. I can sneeze again without the pain so baby has def moved down. Getting nervous now as I don't know what to expect.

Potteryprincess30 · 01/03/2018 15:54

@Crapbags due in a few days basically Hmm and my last was 8 years ago so definitely not sure of some of the signs though my midwife did warn against 'sign spotting' and said it was pretty obvious once you were in actual labour. Though like I said before, I thought I had an upset stomach for about half of mine last time!

Potteryprincess30 · 01/03/2018 15:56

@Mugglenet I sneezed violently in m&s yesterday and it was touch and go! Managed to avoid anything coming out.....wee/babies head/internal organs.... it was a little scary

OP posts:
Potteryprincess30 · 01/03/2018 15:58

@Mugglenet this is your first isn't it and your the 28th? How are you doing generally?

OP posts:
hiptobeasquare · 01/03/2018 16:00

I am due on the 28th of March. I am suddenly getting worried. It’s my first pregnancy, but not my first baby. Due to infertility we adopted a 6 month old (who has just turned 2) and by some utter miracle I got pregnant. Pregnancy has been so different to adoption, I am starting to get a bit anxious as I’ve only got a month left. And what do I do with a teeny new born?!

Potteryprincess30 · 01/03/2018 16:04

@hiptobeasquare welcome! It'l be lush with a newborn, and that phase lasts a very tiny amount of time so enjoy snuggling, staying in and just meet the babies needs that's all Smile
And congratulations, you must have been really amazed

hiptobeasquare · 01/03/2018 16:09

Thanks @potteryprincess30! It took me a while to get my head round as I’d spent so many years extolling the benefits of not putting my body through pregnancy. It took a few months to even believe I was pregnant I kept going to appointments waiting for them to say it was a mistake. Luckily my little boy is excited. :)

Mugglenet · 01/03/2018 16:21

That made me laugh @potteryprincess30
I'm doing ok. Have been a little overwhelmed lately and struggling with spd. Was offered crutches 2day but decided to continue managing without them. See the consultant again in 2 weeks so I'll get my induction date then. Sounds promising for you though .... things are def on the move in right direction.

Anya1981 · 01/03/2018 16:23

Thank you for my birthday wishes and welcoming me !
@Potteryprincess30, is this your first one too? (sorry if you’ve mentioned it already, you probably have!) - quite cool we’re due at the same time! I was going to go out for a bday curry tonight, in a hope to give the baby a nudge, but it’s snowing hard here so it will probably be meal in the local pub. Or beans on toast, if the pub is shut ;-) Anyway, I thought the dating scan got it a bit wrong and i should be due a week or so later, but then who knows - it will. happen when it will happen. Can’t help getting anxious though!
@hiptobesquare, how lovely for you though! you will have two babies now :-) Pregnancy can be hard, but the outcome is so amazing!

Vickylou78 · 01/03/2018 17:17

Pottery princess sounds like you are gearing up to me!! Cramps and unsettled tummy! I reckon v soon!

Vickylou78 · 01/03/2018 17:19

Ps. I had really low period type pain in the mornings 3 days leading up to labour with my dd. Used to wake me up in morning but not too bad a pain. Didn’t realise what it was till went into actual labour

Vickylou78 · 01/03/2018 17:21

Anyone else got absolutely massive legs and bottom now? I’m ballooning! Pregnancy is cruel!

Mugglenet · 01/03/2018 17:22

Months same vickylou78
My legs are huge. Do u know what you are having?

Potteryprincess30 · 01/03/2018 17:26

@Vickylou78 that's good news (obviously not he ballooning bum stuff the perhaps nearing baby stuff!). I'm glad you only had it a few days before labour, I was hoping it wouldn't last weeks or something as it is quite uncomfortable and never really goes away

Clevs · 01/03/2018 17:31

I’m 37+4 and started maternity leave today. I enjoyed a guilt free lie-in this morning!

Get the occasional twinge but no signs of baby yet. I’m getting a bit fed up with the nighttime leg cramps and constant bathroom visits!

Vickylou78 · 01/03/2018 17:36

I’m having a girl (we think!).

Night time leg cramps too! Is awful as the cramps start about 4 am and then about every 30 mins till I get up!

Vickylou78 · 01/03/2018 17:37

Yes pottery was only the few days leading up, then the period pains just got worse and I was in labour!
