Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

@MrsL2016 such an unquenchable thirst isn't it! I think baby very soon now Wink

@ShouldveGoneToSpecsavers I don't have Facebook so I'm not sure if there's another one. But I'm thinking there probably is not from a post that came from one of the organisers a month or so back.

We are here for support anytime so glad you found the thread, really not sure why they closed the Facebook group so early but there must have been a consensus on it they had enough members & decided after the first baby came to close

@LoveRainbow02 I'm so pleased, it really was a bum you guys couldn't just have it yesterday as for a day it's fine to feel relaxed about these things, but when night comes and usually your next to a snoozing partner...thats when the anxiety creeps in.

On a other note though we are experiencing the same things today which is either very good, or very unsettling (i.e we are having our babies). I'm pretty sure just braxton hicks too and it's no coincidence that we both have very engaged babies now so our bodies are preparing....but definitely feeling a little unsettled like yourself that all this is occurring within a day of growth scan and measurements changing.

Keep us posted LoveRainbow, I need to know I have a few more days I think! But I am so glad everything is ok with your baby and their predicted estimate is good as they do look at the belly as well which is the most positive, as well as being an a lot more accurate, sign the baby is growing really well and healthy

@LoveRainbow02 please remind me your due date, so sorry I forget but my brain is made of mush of late

@Potteryprincess30 I'm due the 23rd so still a wee while for me to wait yet. You haven't got long to go have you? I've still been having the wee pains on and off. Quite a bit of pressure and tummy tightening. 1st pregnancy for me so not really sure what to expect.

blinkineckmum · 28/02/2018 19:55

Snow coming to us tonight and the inlaws have just told us they're too unwell to help! Bet that means the baby's coming tonight then! I have almost finished nesting but wanted to get to the weekend ideally... will lay off the raspberry leaf tea for now! 37+1 today. Hope everyone's ok!

Potteryprincess30 · 28/02/2018 19:56

@LoveRainbow02 last time I had no pain at all, my body was just evacuating my last meals basically so for a few hours I honestly thought i'd over eaten or had some kind of food poisoning Confused

I had eaten an absolutely ginormous portion of sausages, peas's, mash and gravy so put it down to that. Got to about 3am and then it dawned on me that it was probably the beginning of labour. By 6am strong contractions so went off to hospital. Good to get half of it done at home though so we were were out of hospital the same day.

Quite painful down below pains and lots of baby wiggling most of the day but I'm skeptical still and would like to get world book day out of the way before any arrivals so I'm willing it to be braxton hicks.

@blinkineckmum the snow and world book day combo seems ominous now to me! though i'm sure things will die down this end and i'll be bemoaning still being pregnant by the weekend Grin

Hi Pottery...your run up to birth sounds very similar to mine...I think I camped out at home for quite a while and was fairly dilated by the time I arrived at hospital and yes remember going to the toilet rather a lot beforehand.
I had stomach cramps last night and wondered if it was the start of something but it seems to have calmed down now...hoping to make it to at least 37 weeks (currently 36)
I am bothered by the impending snow regarding our childcare situation and have started a separate thread regarding this on the pregnancy board...the snow has ramped up my anxiety and I do feel more anxious about all of it at night - there will be massive upheaval with dc's if labour occurs at night because I will have to take my dcs to friends house which is obviously not ideal for anyone concerned; I felt calmer as daylight descended this morning.

Potteryprincess30 · 28/02/2018 20:26

@Lavenderdays yes, any time but the middle of the night! I would definitely like to avoid calling up my lovely friend to collect my daughter in this icy weather. If things did progress which I do think unlikely , I think I would get my partner to drop her over instead and just cling on alone at home until his return.

Funnily as I write this feeling a lot better, cramps subsiding a bit. Just so different from my pre labour last time that I just don't know what to expect after this day really.

Lavender, I really hope you do make it to 37 weeks. The weather too is getting warmer over the weekend as well so hope we've both got a few more days if not weeks left. I haven't needed the toilet at least so thats a positive sign my bodies just practicing. Hope your ok otherwise though lavender Smile

Thanks Pottery, staying just about sane I think...the period type pains yesterday evening gave me a flavour of what is to come and brought back a lot of memories!
I don't recall having this with my other two pregnancies...I had period pains during the night and then certainly with dd2 - she was born the day after...so none of this on/off stuff which made me think I might have been entering early labour yesterday evening. Just read a thread started by Twitchett, who says she's been having this sort of thing for couple of weeks which has put my mind at rest a bit as I'm hoping to hang out for at least 37 weeks and the milder weather!

Twitchett22 · 28/02/2018 21:54

Lavender todays definitely different though, the last few hours period pains have been pretty much constant. Not 'pain' as such but definitely noticeable. Im just hoping that its doing something down there and by the time im in pain a lot of the work will be done!
