Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

DH got the job! Baby’s allowed to come, now Grin

blinkineckmum · 20/02/2018 13:02

Congratulations chiruri!
We've had bad news. Our buyers pulled out so no house sale for us. And our car broke down so I am stuck in the house with 2 tired preschoolers!
But we're all safe and well!
Any more new babies? I had braxton hicks all day yesterday...

Potteryprincess30 · 20/02/2018 13:37

@chiruri that's great news Smile let's keep our fingers crossed for weekend babies, that would be perfect!

Great news Chiruri!

Sorry to hear that your house sale has fallen through Blink, hopefully the Spring will bring some more buyers your way

sammy891 · 20/02/2018 18:44

Never heard of taking evening primrose oil but have read up on raspberry leaf tea tablets helping with labour? Anyone taking either of these? I'm too scared to try them myself Blush

Potteryprincess30 · 20/02/2018 21:15

@sammy891 not done the tablets but i've been drinking a lot of the raspberry leaf tea since 34 weeks. I only heard of the primrose thing recently, know some people do insert Hmm but think i'll give that a miss and was leaning towards swallowing if anyone thought they helped spur things on

sammy891 · 20/02/2018 21:46

Thanks @Potteryprincess30, I will look into getting some of the tea to try out too. Never heard of inserting the Primrose, maybe someone else can let us know if they have used it. Anything that helps Smile

Potteryprincess30 · 21/02/2018 08:53

@sammy891 when are you due? There's a live birth thread in motion at the moment which is very exciting. As all I can think about is babies and birthing it's scratching my itch that's for sure.

I've honestly never been so one tracked minded in my life, every other thought is 'baby' related now Grin

Found this on mumsnet if anyone's interested, think the advice is a no to castor oil as it can give you bad diarea and can actually make the baby release it's bowels internally which is not good Confused

sammy891 · 21/02/2018 10:33

@Potteryprincess30 I'm due 20th March, they first said 22nd March but changed it after the ultrasound scan. When is your date?? Very exciting about the live births thread, will have a look at it too. I'm the same at the moment with all thoughts being baby related and worrying if every slight cramp or twinge is my labour starting!

chiruri · 21/02/2018 10:42

Thanks everyone Smile
I’ve also heard of no to castor oil, as it can increase risk of meconium release. I took raspberry leaf tea in my last pregnancy but not sure it actually did anything! Also lived off of pineapple in the last few weeks.
Where is the live birth thread? Getting more and more impatient about this baby coming now so that might scratch the itch!

Potteryprincess30 · 21/02/2018 15:26

Labour thread Smile

@Potteryprincess30 wow that's not long to go now at all! Good luck Flowers

chiruri · 21/02/2018 16:55

@Potteryprincess30 that is really exciting! Not long now for us. I was feeling nervous last week but now I’m just impatient.

Potteryprincess30 · 22/02/2018 09:50

How is everyone today? All you workers? All you first time mum's? and second, third, fourth & fifth time mum's?

All mum's to be due in March generally! How are you all coping and have we forgot anything! I feel ready, but I am suspicious of this readiness.

Wasn't ready at all last time and everything went perfectly, so maybe this time it's going to be a nightmare Grin

Either way, virtual hello's to everyone and hope anyone really suffering today know's there is support here for them in these last few weeks Flowers

Hi @potteryprincess I was on one of the earlier antenatal threads in early pregnancy then life took over and I’ve not been back! I’m currently 35+5 due 25th March with DC3.

I have my final scan today which I’m hoping shows an average sized baby! My last a DS weighed 9.4lb which for me after a 7.4lb DD first time was a bit of a shock!

I’m at the stage where I’m egar for the baby to come out but also nervous for it too! I may be uncomfortable but at least he’s quiet in there😂

Hope everyone else is doing ok

Potteryprincess30 · 22/02/2018 10:17

@Crapbags ! (amazing name btw)

That's really exciting having a scan at this stage, would love to see my baby again. Currently 38 and 2 and haven't seen it since 20 weeks. Understand though it probably makes you a bit anxious too. Sometimes less information can be a blessing.

Just 4 more weeks to go for you then, that the home straight Smile

Morning! Dreadful backache today and an urgent need to nest! But 2 small ones to entertain. Have a good day everyone.

Sunny1981 · 22/02/2018 11:06

This day next week will be 1st March! Our month Grin Hope you’re all well. First timer here, 38 weeks today. Aside from heartburn (thought that would have gone by now!), I’m feeling well. Finish work on Tuesday, will be looking forward to some proper nesting then Smile
