I have caught up but I'm rubbish at remembering stuff as my short-term memory is poor cos of dyslexia so please forgive for the people I forget...
Natsku Thinking of you, your brother, and your family and wishing him all the best
.
Thanks for everyone's comments re: that crap GP I spoke to. Spoke to a different one today who did my sick note for me but didn't actually tell me how long he has written it for and I was too anxious to ask
. Will get DH to collect it for me on Saturday morning so I will find out then I guess
.
I am managing to eat more and a better variety of foods but a lot of it still comes back up later, bleurgh. Still at least hopefully some of the nutrients will be absorbed so it's better than before I guess.
DGPig is still very sick unfortunately, he's been in and out of the vets all the last few days
. DH has been syringe-feeding him every few hours and he's on twice-daily antibiotics. On the plus side his weight was stable this morning at the vets and he actually wheeked for his pellets for the first time in days (although he only managed to actually eat 2, God bless him!). DH is out at work all day tomorrow so I had to learn to syringe feed him but I think I can do it now. My parents are coming to spend the day with me tomorrow so I am not alone and my dad is great with sick animals so he can help me too. Just praying that he will continue to recover, it's heart-breaking to see him so sick
.
I can't remember who it was who said about their DH having depression and working long hours and feeling like a burden. I know what you mean about the feeling like a burden part. It must be really tough for the two of you atm
.
Guinea Yeah, horrendous constipation, so eat whatever fruit/fibrous things you can stomach and really try and get as much fluid in you as possible. I know that might seem impossible atm though, it was for me for a couple of weeks
.
Last but not least, a big congrats to DeadDoor on the birth of her beautiful baby boy!!
