Yup- weird zooming baby! I think even the midwife was shocked!

Basically with DS i had an epidural as was VERY long labour and i was knackered. But subsequently cos i couldnt feel anything I found pushing him out very hard, and he was eventually delivered with forceps and i had a horrid episotomy.
SO with DD I was determined NOT to have an epidural and did the whole thing on just a bit of gas and air. And I could feel her coming out...like when you REALLY need a poo and cant hold it in ...anyway I was shouting "Its coming out!!!" and sure enough my body just kind of expelled her in a weird spasm . I had a tiny tear but no stitches were needed. Then I promptly threw up! Nice!

Afternoon all you lovely ladies.
My internet crashed last night and I've been on the go all day today so first chance to get online.
Thank you again for all your kind words regarding my friend. Her dh had told my dh to tell me not to phone yesterday as she was so upset but didn't feel I could not get in touch at all so just sent him a nice text offering my condolences and support. I am going to get her a nice card and send it tomorrow and I think I'll wait until early next week to give her a call and maybe go see her if she is up to it. We had planned to get together with our kids next week with them being off school/nursery on easter break so hopefully we might still be able to do that.
So, I finally managed to (sort of) catch up on this thread and my you have all been busy with profiles/pics and name guessing. Sorry Chooster - you are nowhere near with my name! I haven't got around to even looking at doing a profile yet. Might do that soon.

I am confused about all this pelvic floor malarkey. When I do the exercises, it all seems fine - can hold for 10 and release slowly - do the old "imagine a lift going up through the floors" etc. Yet when I need to "fuff", there ain't much holding it back like a lady! I'm starting to sound like my gran!

I'll try again later on and see if I can figure it out. Maybe the file is too big.... No not chinese am afraid . Choo is a nickname I've had since I was very little. Its still the only name my Dad calls me by.

Shame about your book-keeping job, but at least you'll more time to get on with other things - although I do know what you mean about having a chance to enjoy something different once a week.

Gross. Chemist said I couldnt take anything. . Also DD just fell asleep with high temp... but seems ok at the moment, and DS still is ill with runny bottie.
What a lovely household. And oh yeah, still no bathroom... and plumber cant do any more until plasterer comes... not till tuesday....
