Ha! Bodkin... glad to meet a fellow Dogger fan. . If your DD grows up to be like Bella then I sincerely congratulate you.

MrsMcj- I read your thread on the conception boards. Sounds pretty worrying . But, the good thing is that you know about it now. And all the positive posts about women in similar positions must be very reassuring. Keep us posted on any updates with your GP.

I am feeling really knackered again. Thought I had got through the tired bit, but now by this time of day all I want to do is curl up and go to sleep. Got to put DD to bed in a minute... and she is not being great at the moment about going to bed.

Babymad- my 2 keep winding each other up at the moment as well- it is SO annoying.

well............typical! after saying i hadn't had any bleeding for weeks i got some yesterday! lucky old me!!!! i think it might have been an extra special birthday present for me cos i hit 34 yesterday! anyway, have to say i am not that bothered cos i am so used to it now! i cant worry about every bit of blood cos i have had so much!

had a lovely birthday yesterday and thankfully kids were back to being little angels and i was back to being in control!! we will have to see what today brings! dh is away for a few days on business AGAIN so i willno doubt be frazzled by the end of tomorrow!

got a smoothie maker/juicer for my birthday (i did ask for one!) and my dh bought all the fruit in tescos yesterday so i have been experimenting this morning!!! YUM!

honeyapple - i think its a fab idea to use disposables for the first few weeks and then reusables! i will prob try that. i am sick of the smell of disposables! my nappy wrapper was never very good and i felt like my house permanently stunk of poo!

dont suppose anyone has used the website Bump2Babe? i have started a thread on it, but i paid for some stuff nearly 3 weeks ago and haven't got it yet and the phone no. doesn't work and thy dont answer my emails! i am starting to worry!

greedygreedyguzzler · 02/05/2007 10:28

crossed with you firsty! good news! now you get to go through the pain of childbirth! hurray!

honeyapple · 02/05/2007 10:28

Firststar- Great News! What a relief for you. I really hope you have a great birth experience.

Just dyed my hair with some "natural" dye... all a bit strange and green . Now sitting with a plastic bag on my head... apparently the dye needs heat to work.... Potenially in an hours time I will be crying and wearing a large hat.

honeyapple · 02/05/2007 10:32

Greedy- thats annoying about the website... what did you order? Did you spend a lot? If you paid with a credit card you will be able to get the money back. (I think). There are loads of dodgy websites out there I am sure . But maybe it will all be fine, and they are just super busy or on holiday .

Oh yes, enjoy the pain of childbirth- forgot about that bit!! Anyone ever heard of being hypnotised during birth? I reckon it would be brill...
Mind you- No pain, No gain as they say...

honeyapple · 02/05/2007 10:39

Just had a look at that website Greedy...
"run by a busy working mum"... could be the reason for no communication... the testimonials are a bit rubbish... I mean, no details of actual people, only what they apparently said. Mmmmm. Not sure.

honeyapple · 02/05/2007 10:42

Doesnt look good about that website...

BabyMadwithBump · 02/05/2007 11:07

Feeling loads better must be the Iron tabs kicking in "AND" I'm starting to enjoy being PG now, which has shocked the hell out of me, because I've been feeling so down about being PG "but" I think DH hit the nail on the head last night when he said well I think you didn't fully bond with the baby due to all these scares we've had but now your almost 27 weeks PG, your starting to relax more and he said Look really good with my PG bump. For the past 2 week people keep saying I'm looking fab, skin so clear and soft, hair so thick and lush, and they been commenting on my cute bump (their words ) and how good I'm looking, which is always nice to hear and my MAT-clothes are fitting so lovely now too. I've started making more new friends as well, so things are really looking up. Going to a BBQ party this weekend WITHOUT the children so that's going to be fab, friends, drinks, good food, have a laugh ect, then going to the "Babyshow" (with credit card ) the following weekend again without the children, I'm dieing to see what new things they've got coming out for little babies. DH is really cracking on with the nursery as he want to done before I'm 34 weeks, he's going all out too, bless, still having to give him "hand parking tickets" due to being parked for too long on my bump, and now I've also got 2DS's doing it too, arrr cute bless. As for this HB I'm having people are asking me weather they can be there when I'm in labour, MIL, SIL, my very good friend, I'll have loads of people to watch my 2DS weather it be night or day tho we'll see. Soz for going on, I'm on a high today!

Dh wants to use re-useable nappies, I'm not so sure, sounds like hard work to me, I remember my mother having to put them in a bucket, wash and dry them and so on, I don't know I'll have a look at the "babyshow" we'll see.

MrsMc fingers cross for you, always are!

Fristy so glad for you back to MW care I was under consultant care at the beginning for overactive thyroid, but it corrected itself so now back a MW care myself! Even more glad due to now wanting a HB! And "prammad" !

honeyapple "annoying" some days I just want to bang their heads together , but their just finding there feet in the world, also MP3 player helps, and friends round for tea, that's I good one!

Hi to All, chat later, off to watch abit of telly!

Hiya,

Dye is off.... hair not green which is a plus point... infact colour is pretty good, but grey coverage isnt brill... still see a couple of those buggers . But, the fact that the dye didnt pong was great... 7/10

babymad- enjoy the baby show. Great your DP is keen about reusable nappies... my DP just shrugged when I suggested it to him... Well, it is usually me that does the nappies... he heaves badly at the smell/sight of poo. I told him not to bother doing nappies as I thought it might give the baby a complex .

Where is Greedy? Hopefully on the phone to her bank.

If you don't mind me asking how much weight have you put on?, I've put on about 18lb's BUT compared to 2DS's I had put on about 4/6lbs more at this point, I think it's because I've gone off food due to feeling breathless after a meal! Tuck me 6 months to lose the extra lbs after DS#2 but this time I think it'll be different I might not put as much on!

Hey all - Good to hear that you are feeling great babymad. You really do sound on such a high ... You'll have to let us know of any good new gadgets for looking after a baby - I couldn't make it to the babyshow in Glasgow.

Honeyapple - glad you like your hair colour . I'm getting loads of grey hair at my temples. I think I may leave it until the baby is born and then splash out on new hair

Greedy - Anything happened with the website. I took a look, on the one hand it looks quite professional but then when you read the text there are lots of spelling and grammr mistakes. Not that it really matters but it does make you think that its not very professional.

Things are going well for me too at the moment, although am a bit tired. We've actually bought some bits and pieces for the baby so its all feeling real!! Got mid-wife tromorrow and am working from home for the rest of the day so it'll be more relaxing than a normal day. Phew....

Oh and congrats Firsty that you are now under MW care. Fab news... xx

BabyMadwithBump · 02/05/2007 12:57

Chooster glad your feeling better, make sure you rest if your feeling tired, hoping to buy LO some more stuff at the "Babyshow" I love buying little thing. DH got 4 free babyshow tickets though work, we've given 2 away to a friend as we only need 2, I'm a nice person . Hope all goes well at the MW's, I'll be seeing mine in 2 week, DH come to every one bless and puts the HB on his phone.

KitKat30 · 02/05/2007 13:33

I'm sooo bad at posting... can you forgive me girls?!? Even though I dont post often, I do always think about you!

Nice to see that everyone seems to be feeling much cheerier - you can count me in as well! Feeling so much better, much more like my normal self...just with a nice bump!

Babymad - bizarrely I've only put on about 3lbs so far. Two reasons for that I reckon... 1)I'm quite plump to begin with! and 2)I think I took off quite a bit of weight with my extended morning sickness, so in reality I think I'm just catching up with myself. Considering I've just eaten a burger, fries and milkshake for lunch I think my temporary 'weight loss' might be a distant memory!!! The third reason of course might be that my bloody scales have stopped working...

Chooster - we're off to do a bit of shopping this weekend too! Was starting to feel really disorganised and a bit panicky, but am taking things by the horns though!! What have you bought so far?

Greedy - sorry to hear about the bleeding honey, but a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you for yesterday!

My EDD seems very long away!

MrsMcJnr · 02/05/2007 16:33

Bodkin ? thanks hon Hope you are doing well. GP couldn?t help much as didn?t know that much about the implications of the condition on pregnancy, only that I would be considered high risk and that I might need to be medicated to support the pregnancy. She has referred me to a haematologist. It might take some time for the appointment to come through and even though GP advised having that appointment before getting pg again, we are being bad and ignoring that on the basis that if do get pg before then, they?ll have to bump us up the list or we could see someone privately I guess to get the required meds. Chances are when pg I?ll need to take aspirin and inject heparin and that I need to start doing that almost as soon as I get a BFP so seeing the consultant is a real propriety if/when I do fall again. With the drugs, I would have a good chance of going full term. I?ve started taking a low dose aspirin, I weighed it all up and figured that even if I just took it in the 2WW until the appointment, I?d feel better about things if that makes sense. I was taking dissolvable ones but Uki (you?ll remember Uki from the TTC boards?) advised me to swop to coated ones that are slow release and do not affect your stomach so I have bought some of those today. Have not much reason to be hopeful as we didn?t get many well times BDs in in the end but I feel oddly confident. I?m only 6dpo but a few things are happening that happened the cycle I conceived (except the spotting but I think that is a relief!) Of course, I could be imaging it all, just the nature of these things!

Honeyapple ? thanks it is pretty worrying. I know my Aunt has it and has two healthy children (albeit they were very low birth weight at full term). My Mum is being tested at the mo and if she does have it (she could be a carrier) I will feel more relaxed on the child bearing front but obviously I don?t want her to have it she is freaking out at the thought of giving up her HRT! My Mum has 3 other siblings, 2 of which are women - one has not got it but the other has not been tested yet. She has 2 healthy children. I am glad I know and am starting to get my head round the thought of it now though I still don?t know very much. Hope you are getting the rest you need Glad the dye worked out ok! My EDD is even further away than yours!

Firststar ? delighted to hear your good news from the consultant! You must be delighted!

Hey Greedy ? happy birthday for yesterday! Sorry about the extra pressie. Have to agree with the others, bump2babe not looking good

Babymad ? so glad you feel so much better 27 weeks wow!! that?s so sweet about the handparking!! It?s lovely to hear you so happy and to hear that everything is falling into place! My iron is 86 whatever that means but apparently that is fine .

I have printed out the EDD list for my diary! I cannot believe that Pinky?s baby is due so soon!

Hello Chooster! I?ve been noticing some white hairs (on me!) too! Glad to hear you have
bought some things enjoy working from home/garden!

Kitkat ? hello! hope all is good with you!
