Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PinkButterfly · 24/04/2007 16:41

Jack is DS1's name

greedygreedyguzzler · 24/04/2007 16:42

i am just extremely smart pinkB! how can you not know that by now!!!???

greedygreedyguzzler · 24/04/2007 16:43

and my ds's middle name is benjamin, so it kind of sprung to mind!

PinkButterfly · 24/04/2007 16:43

I just thought I am supposed to the one on this thread who is hot with name games!!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 24/04/2007 16:45

ok then i give you 700 guesses to get my dd's name? it begins with K!

PinkButterfly · 24/04/2007 16:47

You need to give me more of a clue than that Greedy. How many of them were registered in Scotland in 2006 ??lol

greedygreedyguzzler · 24/04/2007 16:48

1 unfortunately!

greedygreedyguzzler · 24/04/2007 16:48

are you bored today too pinkb?!!!

PinkButterfly · 24/04/2007 16:51

No, not bored, just feeling washed out and unmotivated but have sooo much I should be getting on with!!! Ho Hum. Right I'll get on that name search and get back to you......

greedygreedyguzzler · 24/04/2007 16:52

i will check back later! have to go and fix someones back (as my ds would say!)

PinkButterfly · 24/04/2007 16:55

Way too many with only 1 registration - defo need a better clue unless of course you actually want me to list 700 possibilities .....????

Chooster · 24/04/2007 20:50

Yes, you are right PinkB - Henry will be DS2's middle name. I told DH tonight that Caden was getting the vote of approval from MN and he said "Mmm, I'm going off it" - Aaaarrrgh, what to do!! I think I need to stop mentioning names to him at the moment - it gives him too much time to think

Ok, so Greedy... Is is Kayla?

Have you guys mentioned PinkB DD's name on here or am I going to have to watch an episode of DH?

fettleandminifettle · 24/04/2007 21:35

Caden is a lovely, unusual name, I like it!

I know Greedy's daughter's name, but I'm not telling [Fettle sings in that annoying playground sing-song voice!!]

I don't watch Desperate Housewives, so have no idea what PinkB's name choice is.

Babymad, well done on changing your doctor's, sounds much more convenient.

Chooster, your trip away sounds good - hope you feel relaxed now!

Thanks for all your thoughts on finding out the sex - those with DC found out for the same reason as I am thinking about it - to prepare DD. Tricky!

Anyway, I'm finally officially pg at work as HR now know. Not quite sure how everyone hadn't guessed already due to my expanding waistline, but it isn't as big as I was with DD at this stage, which is hopefully good, as I put on so much weight last time, which I've never lost - hopefully this time won't be so bad.

Just thinking that we are putting poor DD through everything in Aug/Sept - new house, new nursery and new sibling - hope she copes with it all - any tips anyone?

take care all
xxx

PinkButterfly · 25/04/2007 08:06

Chooster - Kaylah Elisabeth is the name dh and I have chosen for our lo and Greedy guessed it and is now challenging me to guess her dd's name which also begins with a "K".

Fettle - just immediately before we had DS2 we moved to a new house in a new area so DS1 had to adjust to new home, new nursery and new sibling and he was absolutely fine -like water off a duck's back. Don't know what age your DD is but my ds1 was 4 at the time.

Chooster · 25/04/2007 09:43

Oooh, thats wierd. I was guessing Kayla as Greedy's daughters name! I've never watched Desperate Housewives so didn't know what you had chosen for your DD. I love it though!!! Its a lovely name, and I wouldn't worry for a second about it being in the TV show. None of DD's friends will even know that.

BabyMadwithBump · 25/04/2007 09:48

Thanks fettle, sorry cant give any tips due to DS#1 was only 2 when DS#2 came along and he didn't handle it well at all, same thing new house, new sibling and moveing away from his grandad which he really loves to bits, also I had PND, it was just a mess at that time but we got though it in one peace, but it has made me more understanding this time round and I know to take extra care now and once LO is born to their feelings!

I've got 100 days to go today! (25+5) now it really is counting down the days LOL!

I'm in a really happy mood today but I think thats down to the chat DS's and I had on the way to school, the things children talk about and say really do make me smile and the fact I've changed doctors has been a really great weight off my mind. I had a really crap nights sleep, and also got lots to do, but still feel great. I have a few bits for this HB but want to make a list and start getting the rest as well as getting bits for a hospital bag just incase.

greedygreedyguzzler · 25/04/2007 09:54

aspleep chooster! i am DEFINATELY using that as a new word! I love it!!!

fettle - does your dd start full time in a new nursery at the start of sept? if so she will have a good few weeks to get used to it before baby comes along hopefully. unless you are early again. a week is a long time in a little ones life isn't it. i am worried cos my dd will be starting at pre school in sept too! that is why when i 'planned' this baby it was suppossed to be born now in april so that it wouldn't clasj with anything else! but hey my plan didn't work! i think little kids are tougher than we give them credit for. i am sure she will be fine as will my dd (hopefully!!!)

pinkb - apparently someone who used to be in eastenders called their daughter the same as my daughter is called! a bit of an obscure clue hey! talking of eastenders..........it is breaking my heart at the moment to see what that old bitch stella is doing to poor little ben. i know its only a programme, but its really upsetting!

greedygreedyguzzler · 25/04/2007 09:58

babymad - i was due to have a homebirth last time and the only thing i was told to get was an old shower curtain! didnt have a hospital bag packed at all and dh had to quickly throw some bits in at the last minute when we were told to go to hospital! VERY unprepared! i dont think you need half the crap they tell you to take into hospital anyway, do you?

PinkButterfly · 25/04/2007 10:20

Sorry Greedy I don't watch Eastenders any more so your clue doesn't help me. Only ex-cast member I know had a daughter was Jessie Wallace and she called hers Tallulah so obviously not her!!!

Chooster · 25/04/2007 11:09

Oh I know Greedy - I find the Stella / Ben storyline really uncomfortable to watch. I know it's only a TV programme but I just want to give him a big hug and give her a big smack in the mouth.

Mmm, I'm trying to think back to my celebrity magazines articles about ex-enders actresses... Can't think though. You may need to give another clue

honeyapple · 25/04/2007 11:29

Hiya,

Ha ha I know what Greedy's DD's called...but I must admit I knew already... the clue about the ex-eastender isnt a great one.... I'd go with an 80s singer!! Did a duet once with a certain VERY rich singer/songwriter...

Anyway... my DD is starting BIG school in September. I too had "planned" to have had third baby before this, preferably in the summer holidays... but like Greedy it never kind of worked out that way. She will have been going for a full half term before this one is due though... so hopefully will have settled ok, and not feel like she is being replaced/pushed out etc... She is actually VERY excited about going to big school with her brother, so I think it will all be fine.

Got my first proper MW appointment at 2pm today. Quite excited... but know it will probably be pretty boring, but looking forward to meeting Maureen the MW.

Good to hear everyone is chirpy at the moment.

greedy I've brought some bits one being a birthing ball and some other nicks and nacks, but I also have on my list bucket, dust sheets, as well as new towels so I can use the old ones IYSWIM, As for the hospital bag it will just have bare essentials in it and set of clothes for me and little one.

honeyapple the first MW always feels great, good luck!

Chooster · 25/04/2007 13:18
