Far far too much information, Greeds!!!!
My best friend was really close to me with our first DC, only 3 weeks between her DS and our DD. Would have been really close again, if I hadn't miscarried at Christmas. But I've found out another close friend of mine is only 7 weeks behind me, but she's had a previous mc, so she's still taking things really easily still.
Anyway, Honey, I'm the mean one overhere, saying that this LO will manage with all DD's stuff - if it's a boy, i'm even tempted to dress it in pink - nowhere will notice it's sex for a while [I'm only joking, before someone shouts, but it does seem a waste of lots of lovely, pretty clothes DD has barely worn]. DH is desperate to buy a new pushchair - one of the most expensive type, but i'm quite happy with our travel system from Mothercare, so he has a fight on his hands!! He also wants to buy a new car, but that's another fight!!!
Anyway, hope everyone else is well - I've been secretly reading all day, but can't actually remember what everyone's said - will have a think... hhmmm
£14,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11. My mean streak mentioned above meant we went to stay in my grandmother's flat in Mallorca for our honeymoon, romance on a budget. Now wish we'd blown everything on going somewhere exotic, but we had no money back then - should learn to not be so sensible [but DH is still not getting his new car and pram!!!]
Firststar - sorry to hear you've not been referred yet - when I had SPD with DD I was referred, but it took so long to come through, that I saw the physio about 3 weeks before I gave birth - so it was hardly worth it. All she did was give me a strap to wear around my hips, which was so uncomfortable and useless anyway that I didn't bother - Greedy's McTimoney chiropracters sound much better if you find a good one. Wish I lived near you Greedy!! Anyway, I really don't pity you with SPD, it really isn't fun. Just make sure you shout about it during birth to make sure that everyone knows that you have it. That was DH's main priority to make sure they didn't pull my legs apart too far and hard!! The amazing thing was as soon as I'd given birth it almost miraculously disappeared! Starting to get odd twinges now, which is around the same time I got it last time, but trying to remain positive!
anyway, another epic, I should stop now. Finally was brave enough to tell the rest of my team that i'm pg - they were a bit shocked when I said I was 16 weeks on Saturyda, but then I'm pretty shocked I've got this far so quickly!! Just need to tell the office gossip tomorrow, as she is in charge of conferences and we are off on Sales Conference soon and I'll need to let her know all the restrictions on what I can eat, so everyone will know before the end of tomorrow!!!
Right, really am going now - hope poo was good Greedy!!!
