Can ongoing brown discharge have a happy ending? :(

I'm scared.

Im 6-7 weeks pregnant according to my last period.

I had light brown mucus and stains last week.
Yesterday I had watery brown just once on the tissue when I wiped.
Today I've had mucusy dark brown stringy discharge nearly every time I wipe and the odd 5p Sized brown mark in pad.
I have back pain but it could be due to long day at work
I'm so upset and can't chill out

Can this have a happy ending. . ?

Hey breaking. Thank you. I'm really sad.
My symptoms have gone. I'm still bleeding albeit not so heavy and back to brown. But dark brown. This is so stressful.
I thought the fact I have no cramping or pain was good but googled that as well and plenty people miscarried without the pain at first.
Almost don't want my partner to come in. I feel so bad.
Crossing my fingers tight.
Appreciate the support. We haven't told anyone yet. . were ready to though. X

Fingers crossed all is ok Tatty. I really really hope so. I know it offers very little support but hundreds of women have bleeds and go on to have healthy babies.

Please let DP look after you, you've done nothing wrong. My thoughts are with you and be kind to yourself xx

Hematoma?? Spelling sorry. There's blood in there thats coming out bit by bit but very common and less than 2% chance of miscarrying now nurse said! I didnt get to see baby as I asked for screen off opposite. (I was so sure baby was gone..) 12 week scan not long away! Taking a week off work and chilling out! This baby is going to be hard work.i think!

So glad to see there is hope. I know this post is old but I came across it looking for some hope . I was to have my baby this month . But thats as far as i got a due date nothing showed up on the scan . I had very light line of pink blood on tissue when i wiped . No pain or anything. Just found out 5 days ago i am pregnant i have been taking it easy as i am only around 4 weeks . But last night i wiped and there was a tiny stringy bit of brown blood . Pinkish look to my cm its was gone the next time i went to toilet . I couldnt sleep and im so worried

Think it is happening again . Im so upset

@Stace12 how are you feeling now? Hope it is all going well with you! I am in the same bought with you I am 5+ weeks and lots of cramps that come and go plus dark browns discharge only when I go to the loo and wipes .. very scary indeed ! Please let me know how you going..

I'm about 5 weeks 6 days I have been having extreme gas pains an bloating an this morning I woke up to brown stringy discharge when I wipe an pee gas pains are lighter today but have very light cramps my first obgyn appointment is tomorrow my only concern is to make sure the baby is in my uterus no were else

How did you get on today @Shaneka3? My wife and I are going through similar at the moment. She will be 11 weeks on Monday. Last night around 7pm she had red blood when wiping (not allot but enough) we rushed to A&E but it stopped. A&E referred us to EPAU but it's closed on a Saturday so waiting for tomorrow's call. Today wifey has had a tiny bit of brown spotting and what she described as a tiny bit of brown stringy discharge. I don't really know what to think I just can only support her right now.

We had an early scan at 8 weeks and got a heartbeat. I am praying tomorrow at what would be 11 weeks minus a day will be the same.

Hi all, I know this thread has been inactive for years, but I just wanted to say thank you for all of your comments. I experienced bright red bleeding from five to seven weeks and was terrified, but this thread gave me so much hope. Now, 35 weeks later, I'm happy to say that I have a healthy and happy baby girl! The doctor said that my bleeding was likely just from implantation, which can apparently go on for a few weeks past the usual four-week mark.

So for anyone who might come across this thread experiencing some early bleeding: there is hope for a happy ending!
