im was going to change my name cause im too shook up,
i stopped taking my pill a month ago and me and dp have been having sex as normal but he hasnt been coming inside me (sorry to be graphic) my period is a week late ans i just done 2 pg tests and they are both positive i really dont want to be pg and i dont no what to do im s**ting myself the docs is shut till tuesday what do i do

Yes, I think she's right. They have to let you go home at some point. Any chance you can leave dd at an extra playgroup/nursery session?

Congratulations on passing your test Nikcola! That's great. Agree with all the others, asking him or expecting him to help you is just asking to be let down. He isn't going to change. I hate to say this but I think you need to make plans without expecting anything from him.

What about the friend you felt you couldn't talk to a while back because of her sister? Could you tell her you were in for a 'minor op', don't specify what?

Also, what about a babysitting agency for dd? I know they cost money, but I don't know how much.

no she has to work all day mi, but dp has said he willl have her hes booked a day off work witch is something he never does si i think ill be ok

Hey Nikcola, have only just seen this thread. Very sorry you are having such a rough time but good that you are taking control. Are you going to the L&D on Friday? I don't drive but depending on what time you think you might be leaving I could get a cab to the hospital to meet you and take you back to your house; wouldn't be able to stay for long though as I have to pick ds up from nursery but if that's any use at all let me know. Email me today or tomorrow via contact another talker.

hi eddm, ive just read your post thank you that is truely very nice of you to offer to do that for me , but about an hour ago i asked my friend to take the afternoon off work and pick me up. you are so lovely to offer to to that for me im really touched what would i do without mumsnet, are you going to go to the watford meet up maybee we could go together it would be lovely to meet you where dp you live ????

Hi Nikcola, glad your friend can help but do call me if she can't make it at the last minute or there is anything I can do; afraid I won't be mobile from about 5 as will have ds and dh out all night but before then am available if you need me (and you can call me in the evening if you need someone on the end of the phone).
Will check on the Watford meet up but can only do evenings or Fridays ? wanted to do the one in St Albans but had to rush off to my sister.
Don't know if you remember but I'm in Harpenden so only a few miles away from you (I used to be Evansmum).
Am about to update my details on contact another talker for you but MI also has them so do get in touch if there is ANYTHING I can do. Seriously.
Will be thinking of you on Friday.
