I have started bleeding!!

After the inital shock of finding out I am pregnant again, I have started bleeding today. Phoned the emergancy gp and of course he said that it could be a miscarriage, so he tried to get me an appointment at the EPU but noone is there, so I have to phone my gp tomorrow.. I have a very slight pain on my right hand side, and the bleeding is light. I asked about ectopic pregnancy and he said I would be in serevre pain, which I am not.

I don't think it is an injury and I have had a clear urine test two days ago so not that but it's getting better. Maybe it is just the ligaments getting ready. I feel nothing now...

oh btw the first hospital did do a HCG test on thursday morning,10am, it was 673 the lister did one at 4.30 and it was 684, so at least I know it is rising. just hoping that today's test is over 1000.

Yes I was checked for a UTI which was clear. There are some keytones thought which would suggest im not drinking enough. Pain has pretty much gone now.

well the pain has gone, my boobs aren't as sore, but I am very tired. I can;t eat as much as normal. And I have hard stools (TMI) which is what I had with all my pregnanoes. I have the scan tomorrow morning...

SGK - ring them again - tell them that you are going out of your mind with worry adn there is no valid excuse to be kept waiting - whether its good or bad news.

It takes hours to analyse blood samples. The records are kept on computer so accessible instantly (although they ALWAYS print a copy of the results).

Its Just Not Good Enough.

i agree, it really hacks me off. i know the nhs is understaffed etc but they are still there to do a job

apparently the doctor has to give me the results not the nursing staff and he is busy...

SGK - hospitals do have protocols to follow, but, there must be a free SHO that can give you the results.

Ring and insist. They wont like it, but, its not them sitting there chewing their fingers to the bone worrying.

Just phoned again and said that I have been waiting all day for these results and she said that they were very busy and would phone me back in a minute. we will see eh..

just phone dme, HCG levls have dropped to 470, so I guess it all over I feel sao guilty because I took the MAP
