I'm due on Sunday and thought it'd be nice to see if anyone else is due soon?

How are you all feeling? This will be my second and we've been told it's a girl. If anyone's around and fancies a moan chat about this last stretch, step forward!!

Aw pepperoni! Well done and congratulations! !!

laura825 · 10/07/2015 07:43

Wow that was quick Pepperoni! Massive congratulations to you!

Very jealous! I'm still here getting the odd tightening and pains but nothing more than that really!! Xx

LittleMiss77 · 10/07/2015 07:55

Thanks Thanks Thanks Pepperoni and Berry. Congratulations on your new arrivals

Coney - I'm having those cervix stabby pains too... He's due today so im off for a long walk in an hour or so (need to fully wake up and get my arse in gear) to see if i can help things along.

I'm petrified that im going to go over like both my SILs and end up giving birth to a 10lb-er Confused

coneywonder · 10/07/2015 08:19

They are the worst aren't they?! I was at my.parents in law last night and got one and I said "fuuuccckkkk" they both laughed but I was mortified. Haha. I'm just having a "I just woke up an hour ago but I'm going back to bed" moment then I'm gonna go for a walk too. Even though it's gonna be a hot one today

NKfell · 10/07/2015 12:45

congrats pepperoni !

I walked DS to school this morning with 2 yr old, we were stood at the gates and she said (very loudly) "I really think this baby is late maybe we should get a stick" then picked up a stick...presumably to poke him out Hmm Shock

Ahardmanisgoodtofind · 10/07/2015 14:15

That made me chuckle NK!
STILL no sign of this baby making an appearance, been up since four-too restless too sleep, and now I'm overly emotional miserable weepy snappy messand tired. My next door neighbour came home with her baby last night, and she was due five days after me-im tempted to tell her to put it back! Finally got my "urgent" growth scan, and baby is fine. So fed up, due to see midwife next Wednesday for another sweep-feels like AGES away!some one come along with good news.....

coneywonder · 10/07/2015 14:24

I wish I could but I still don't have a baby and having no niggly pains at all today.

I'm also very weepy and very tired I too hav a sweep booked for Wednesday. Let's hope we pop before then ahardman

Ahardmanisgoodtofind · 10/07/2015 15:28

Fingers crossed Coney, all the starting and stopping is driving me mad!im thinking distraction is the way forward, pretend im not even thinking bout it and it might happen.or cry, sleep and eat my weight in crap....

coneywonder · 10/07/2015 15:33

I know. And the more I'm waiting the more nervous I'm getting I keep thinking I'm not going to be able to do it.

Sorry I don't like talking about birth negatively I think it's cause I dont know what's gonna happen or what to expect.

Are you finding your not making plans? I think that's making it worse. I have no plans for over the weekend. Pffff

LittleMiss77 · 10/07/2015 16:04

ahardman, coney - looks like we're all booked in for sweeps on Wednesday! Let me know how you both get on - we will get these babies out!

Ive been told walking is good so ive done my 10000 steps for today and a curry is on the cards for dinner tonight (along with the cheese and jalepeno bread and piri piri olives i had for lunch)...might have to see if i can persude DP to do some snuggling later too - I'm thinking a 3 pronged attack prior to Wednesday cant hurt Grin

NKfell · 10/07/2015 16:42

I can join the Wednesday sweep club!!

coney I didn't think I could with my first- I did it, I didn't think I could with my second- I did it, sometimes I don't think I'll be able to do my third but I'm sure I will. YOU CAN DO IT!! I do have plans, I'm going to IKEA tomorrow (it's 2 hours away!), can you imagine if I give birth in IKEA!

coneywonder · 10/07/2015 16:55

Thanks NK it bodes well that you clearly haven't been put off Grin

I'll be scared until it's done I think hshs

Ahardmanisgoodtofind · 10/07/2015 18:03

littlemiss my doctor yesterday suggested (in the most dramatic whisper for someone who two minutes earlier was fishing around in my foof)that "adult time" was her recommendation. I think tonight dp is going to step up and do his duty.
Coneymake some plans, it's scary when you don't know what to expect, and when you do just remember our bodies are designed for this and if all else fails pain relief is there to be used!I remember an American nurse told me once you wouldn't have a tooth out without being numb, why would you deny yourself the same during child birth!

coneywonder · 10/07/2015 18:10

I will do thank you :) definitely going to make some plans this weekend. I was so niave thinking that I wouldn't need to after my due date haha.

DulcetMoans · 10/07/2015 18:13

My calendar is clear for the next couple of months too coney! But to be fair, if you had the baby already you wouldn't have been able to keep appointments so it's better this way. Think I will plan a walk and lunch out at least.

I will miss the Weds sweep club but booked one for Thurs. Hoping I won't need it.

Also worries I can't do it but NK is right, we will do it as we have to!

That is a spicy meal selection there littlemiss, hope it works!

coneywonder · 10/07/2015 18:42

Yeah I suppose your right dulcet haha and we can do it. I've just had a spicy Chinese but ive been eating spicy food, pineapple and having sex and nadaaaa!!!

coneywonder · 11/07/2015 09:53

Any updates anyone? Nothing here!!

LittleMiss77 · 11/07/2015 10:03

Nothing! I'm exhausted from all the walking and the curry just resulted in reflux

Todays plan is 4 loads of washing a trip to town (might walk it, havent decided) and a BBQ - the only thing this will no doubt result in, is rain!

How are you feeling this morning Coney?

coneywonder · 11/07/2015 10:05

I'm okay I'm getting more nervous the longer I'm waiting. I told my mum I didn't want to do it last night. Anxiety overload. Haha. No signs yesterday not even a niggle.

DulcetMoans · 11/07/2015 10:06

Not much here either. Same pushing down feelings, been up since 4.30am and a bit shaky now but nothing constructive.

Walk and lunch out today, then bounce, bounce, bounce!!

villainousbroodmare · 11/07/2015 11:02

Nothing here. Went for a pretty strenuous hilly walk with the dog, not a stir. But we're still sanding and painting the cot so I guess we need another day or two!

laura825 · 11/07/2015 12:25

Nothing here either!! Went for a long walk last night and had a walk around town today and still nothing other than achey legs and back!!

Going to get on the ball in a bit and bounce for as long as I can and make a fresh pineapple smoothie!! Fingers crossed!! Keep going everyone! Xx

Bobian123 · 11/07/2015 12:34

Another one here with not a lot going on!! Been for a walk this morning like lots of you. A few twinges but not much else yet!

coney I think the waiting is the killer and gives us too long to think about it. Once labour kicks in, you're in it and can't think about it anymore...if that makes sense!

OP posts:
coneywonder · 11/07/2015 13:07

Yeah I'm really emotional but I think it's because I want this stage over with and mummyhood to begin. I know your all feeling that way haha. But yeah your right once it starts it will end...and then it's done and I won't think about it anymore.

I'm just heading to the Derbyshire hills to my mums house for a hilly walk.

Hope the twinges lead somewhere for you.
